Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sheet metal shelf, in particular a shelf or drawer bottom, for supporting objects.
  • Sheet metal shelves are known from the prior art, in which a U-shaped or C-shaped sheet metal strip is attached to the underside of an upper sheet, the top of which forms the bottom surface of the sheet metal shelf, in order to stiffen the bottom surface.
  • the sheet metal shelf By applying force to the floor surface, the sheet metal shelf can be caused to vibrate comparatively large, which causes loud noise.
  • EP2641506 A1 discloses a shelf, the shelf comprising a top metal sheet, a support member facing a major portion of the top metal sheet, the support member configured to reinforce the top metal sheet, and at least a first adhesive layer disposed between the top metal sheet and is arranged on the bearing element, so that the bearing element and the upper metal sheet are connected to one another by the at least one first adhesive layer.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a sheet metal shelf that produces less sound when force is applied.
  • the sheet metal shelf should also be able to be assembled without tools if possible.
  • a sheet metal shelf in particular a shelf or drawer bottom, which has two parallel-spaced metal sheets and at least one reinforcing profile arranged between the two metal sheets with at least two parallel-spaced profile legs, the one profile leg being glued to the one metal sheet by means of a double-sided adhesive tape strip extends in the profile direction of the reinforcing profile, and the other profile leg is also glued to the other metal sheet by means of a double-sided adhesive tape strip, which extends in the profile direction of the reinforcing profile, or is welded to the other metal sheet.
  • the reinforcing profile is not connected directly to the two metal sheets, but rather indirectly through the elastic adhesive tape strips, which thus cause double damping.
  • the second variant of the invention only one profile leg is glued with the double-sided adhesive tape strip and the other profile leg is welded to the metal sheet, so that the reinforcing profile only provides simple damping.
  • the metal sheet and the reinforcement profile together form a tubular profile that gives the sheet metal shelf additional rigidity and additional damping. Due to the constant strip thickness along their length, the adhesive tape strips also represent a perfect spacer.
  • the strip width of the adhesive tape strips is smaller than the leg width of the respective profile legs, which results in an additional damping air gap between the profile legs of the upper and lower sheets and the profile legs of the reinforcing profile.
  • the adhesive tape strips can be glued to the respective profile leg in the middle or off-center.
  • the strip thickness of the adhesive tape strips is advantageously in the range of 1 mm ⁇ 0.5 mm and is preferably approximately 1 mm.
  • the reinforcing profile has a central profile leg for gluing or welding to one metal sheet and two outer profile side legs spaced parallel to the central profile leg for gluing or welding to the other metal sheet.
  • the reinforcing profile can be designed as a trapezoidal profile, hat profile or C-profile.
  • the reinforcing profile can also be formed by a Z-profile or by two or more Z-profiles.
  • the middle and the two outer profile legs are each glued to the two metal sheets using a strip of adhesive tape in order to achieve double damping.
  • only the middle profile leg or only the two outer profile legs can each be glued to one metal sheet using an adhesive strip and the other profile legs can be welded to the other metal sheet in order to provide simple damping.
  • the reinforcing profile can be made of plastic or, which is preferred, of metal.
  • the one metal sheet is a first C-sheet metal profile, which is angled twice at 90° on the edge of each of its two profile sides and has two free profile ends facing each other.
  • the C-profile shape makes the metal sheet particularly torsion-resistant.
  • the other metal sheet can, for example, be a U-profile, which rests with its middle leg on the free profile ends of the C-sheet metal profile, or a second C-profile, which has its middle leg on the free profile ends of the first C-sheet metal profile and with its The two free profile ends, angled at 90° and facing each other, rest on the middle leg of the first C-sheet metal profile. In the latter case, the two C-profiles can be inserted into one another to form a sheet metal shelf.
  • the first C-sheet metal profile can be angled twice at 90° on its two longitudinal ends in order to form two mutually facing, free profile ends on which the middle leg of the U-profile or the second C-profile rests.
  • the free profile ends of the two longitudinal ends of the first C-profile and the middle leg of the U-profile or the second C-profile are each glued to each other using a double-sided adhesive tape strip or welded to each other.
  • the in Fig. 1 Sheet metal shelf 1 shown has two parallel-spaced, rectangular metal sheets 2, 3 , namely an upper sheet 2 and a lower sheet 3.
  • a reinforcing profile 4 is arranged between the two sheets 2, 3, which is on the two Sheets 2, 3 is attached.
  • the upper sheet 2 is a downwardly open C-profile with a middle, upper profile leg 2a, which is the horizontal flat top of the sheet metal shelf 1, and with two profile side ends that are angled 90 ° downwards and inwards on the edge.
  • the vertical profile side leg, which is angled downwards by 90° relative to the middle profile leg 2a, is designated 2b and the horizontal, lower profile side leg, which is angled inwards by 90° relative to the vertical profile side leg 2b, is designated 2c .
  • the lower sheet 3 is an upwardly open U-profile with a central, lower profile leg 3a, which forms the horizontal, flat underside of the sheet metal shelf 1, and with two vertical profile side ends 3b, each angled upwards by 90 ° on the edge.
  • the reinforcing profile 4 is an upwardly open trapezoidal profile with a middle (lower) profile leg 4a, which forms the horizontal, flat underside of the sheet metal shelf 1, and on both sides with an oblique profile side leg 4b and angled at an obtuse angle relative to the lower profile leg 4a a horizontal upper profile leg 4c which is angled at an acute angle relative to the oblique profile side leg 4b.
  • the lower profile side leg 5a of the reinforcing profile 4 is glued to the lower profile leg 3a of the lower sheet metal 3 by means of a double-sided, elastic adhesive tape strip 5 , which extends in the profile direction of the reinforcing profile 4.
  • the two upper profile side legs 4c are each glued to the upper profile leg 2a of the upper sheet metal 2 by means of a double-sided adhesive tape strip 5, which extends in the profile direction of the reinforcing profile 5.
  • the strip width b of the adhesive tape strips 6 is smaller than the leg width B of the respectively assigned profile legs and side legs 4a, 4c.
  • the adhesive tape strip 5 can be glued centrally or, as in the exemplary embodiment shown, off-center to the profile leg and side leg 4a, 4c.
  • the strip thickness d of the adhesive tape strips 5 is preferably in the range 1 mm ⁇ 0.5 mm and is, for example, approximately 1 mm, which is in an air gap between the profile legs 2a, 3a of the upper and lower sheets 2, 3 and the profile legs and side legs 4a , 4c of the reinforcement profile 5 results.
  • the reinforcing profile 4 does not rest directly on the upper and lower sheets 2, 3, but only by means of the adhesive tape strips 5, which thus provide damping.
  • the upper sheet 2 also has at its two longitudinal ends a vertical profile end leg 2d that is angled downwards by 90° relative to the middle profile leg 2a and a horizontal, lower profile end leg 2e that is angled inward by 90° relative to the vertical profile end leg 2d .
  • the two lower profile end legs 2e of the upper sheet metal 2 and the two longitudinal profile ends of the lower profile leg 3a of the lower sheet metal sheet 3 are each glued to one another using a double-sided, elastic adhesive tape strip 6 .
  • the vertical profile side legs 2d have a height which is less than the height of the vertical profile side legs 2b by the sheet thickness of the lower sheet 3 and the strip thickness d of the adhesive tape strips 6. This height offset is in Fig. 4 denoted by ⁇ H .
  • the upper sheet metal 2 lies with its two lower profile side legs 2c directly on the middle profile leg 2a of the lower sheet metal 2.
  • the sheet metal shelf 1 is formed by an upper and a lower sheet 2, 3 and a reinforcing profile 4, which are each glued to one another using double-sided adhesive tape strips 5, 6 in order to thereby provide damping.
  • the sheet metal shelf 1 is installed without tools as follows: First, the reinforcing profile 4 is glued to the upper sheet metal 2 using the two outer adhesive tape strips 5. Then the middle adhesive strip 5 and the two adhesive tape strips 6 are glued to the upper sheet 2. The two sheets 2, 3 are plugged into one another at the ends, with the lower sheet 3 and the lower profile leg 4a of the reinforcing profile 5 being kept spaced apart from one another during the insertion process by means of an auxiliary strip (not shown). Finally, the auxiliary strip is removed and the two sheets 2, 3 and the reinforcing profile 4 are pressed together in order to fasten the parts 2, 3, 5 to one another using the adhesive tape strips 5, 6.
  • the reinforcing profile 5 can alternatively be a hat profile or a C-profile.
  • One or more Z-profiles running parallel to one another, which are arranged between the two sheets 2, 3 and glued to them using adhesive tape strips 5, are also further alternatives for the reinforcing profile 4.
