Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a bag for carrying a cartridge belt for firearms such as machine guns by a person.
  • Cartridge belts have been known in the state of the art for decades; they are characterized by the fact that the individual cartridges are fastened to one another and chained together to form a flexible belt, a cartridge belt. Due to such a linking of the cartridges with one another, they can be continuously fed to a firearm, e.g. a machine gun, in such a way that continuous rifle fire is guaranteed. However, handling these cartridge belts during field use is also associated with problems.
  • Unprotected cartridge belts are exposed to dust, water and dirt in the field.
  • the resulting particle exposure to the cartridge belts can lead to malfunctions in the self-loading mechanisms of the machine guns and therefore represents a very high risk in combat.
  • cartridge belts are usually stored and transported in transport containers.
  • Such a transport container for cartridge belts is used, for example US 2455352 A1 previously described. It is a tubular, flexible transport container that holds the cartridge belt and has many sheet metal parts, which inevitably increase the weight significantly.
  • This tubular, flexible transport container can also be worn as a banderole.
  • the disadvantage of this design is that the cartridge belt has to be inserted very laboriously. Since the cartridges can only be inserted in two rows, the capacity of the transport tube is very limited.
  • a major disadvantage of this solution is that the sheet metal parts used can easily bend in the event of an impact or fall so that the cartridges become trapped between the sheets in such a way that the belt can no longer run out of the pocket tube without any problems.
  • a container for machine gun ammunition which also consists of a wear- and rot-resistant woven material, which in turn forms a rectangular container.
  • the container includes a bottom, a front, a back, a first end and a second end and a top flap and must be secured to one location on the paddock. This results in poor weight distribution on the wearer's body.
  • a major disadvantage is that the dimensions of the container are fixed, ie they cannot be adjusted individually according to the respective degree of filling, and in addition the container can only be removed from the belt with a relatively high expenditure of time.
  • This container which is equipped with the adapter attachment, is carried as a backpack ammunition system using a carrying frame.
  • this design Since the dimensions of the carrying frame and also those of the adapter are fixed, i.e. remain the same regardless of the filling level of the ammunition container, this design has the main disadvantage that this design has a high transport volume after use, i.e. in the empty state, and thus This also necessarily requires a lot of transport effort for refilling.
  • a linked round carrying case for cartridge belts is also known, which is similar to the solution according to US 2455352 A1 , is closed at a first end, has an opening at a second end and can be worn as a banderole. If necessary, this solution has a closure flap without an adapter in the area of the opening.
  • the cover of this carrying bag itself is made of a flexible material and shaped in such a way that it forms a triangular prism in cross section, which has an openable closure, for example a zipper, along the upper edge of the prism, which is located from the first, the lower, the closed one End, extends to the second, the upper end, the end with the opening.
  • the linear insertion of the belt which is absolutely necessary for this bag due to the central arrangement of the zipper, is designed, i.e. the cartridge belt must be opened
  • the zipper must always be laid out over the full length of the pocket and, if necessary, placed in the pocket "folded" on top of one another. This is very difficult and time-consuming, especially since the shooter often has to pack the ammunition for transport at very short notice during combat operations.
  • the width of the tube holding the cartridges is larger than the length of a single cartridge, and should also be smaller than twice the length of a single cartridge.
  • the multiple linear stacking of the entire cartridge belt over the respective length of the bag also has the decisive disadvantage that during rifle fire, the cartridges of the belt layers lying on top of each other easily get caught up in one another, which can easily result in the cartridge(s) getting jammed in the weapon.
  • the fixing strap attached to the outside of the bag represents an additional time-consuming obstacle to operation, as it must first be loosened when opening the bag in order to then access the cartridge belt.
  • fixation belt also carries the risk that the shooter can get caught on a variety of obstacles in the terrain.
  • Such a firearm cleaning set in the form of a case provided with belt loops, is described above, which can be opened by means of a zipper extending over three sides in such a way that the cover of the case is divided into two parts when open and is only connected along a folding line .
  • These receiving cavities can be designed in such a way that special tools of a wide variety of designs or with differently shaped cavities can be arranged in these receiving cavities according to the respective requirements.
  • the complete tool sets in the weapon cleaning set can be replaced simply by replacing the carrier plates.
  • Such weapon cleaning sets can of course also be used to store individual cartridges.
  • this object is achieved by a bag for carrying a cartridge belt (1) according to the features of the main claim of the invention.
  • the bag according to the invention shown for carrying a cartridge belt 1 has the design of a tubular, flexible sleeve which accommodates the cartridge belt 1 and which essentially consists of a woven fabric and which is closed at one end, the lower end, with a bag bottom 2 on the front side other, the upper end, the bag is open, with a pocket closure flap 3 being arranged in the area of the open end of the flexible, tubular sleeve. Between the two ends, a closure is arranged on the circumference, in the longitudinal direction of the tubular sleeve, which allows the sleeve to be opened possible over their length.
  • a drainage eyelet 34 is arranged in the middle of the bag bottom 2 for drainage and better ventilation of the bag.
  • this pocket base 2 is rectangular and arranged at the lower end of a pocket rear wall 4, and on the side of the pocket base 2 opposite this pocket rear wall 4, a pocket cover 6 is arranged.
  • the tubular, flexible casing is closed at the lower end, on the front side, with a rectangular pocket base 2 a rectangular cross section, with a pocket rear wall 4, two opposite pocket side walls 5 arranged on this pocket rear wall 4 and a rectangular pocket cover 6 opposite the pocket rear wall 4, and that this pocket cover 6 on both sides, ie along both long sides, by means of a zipper 12 each the pocket side walls 5 is connected.
  • the bag according to the invention is equipped with two zippers, this bag can be opened very easily, whereby in operative connection with the rectangular shape of the bag according to the invention specified according to the invention, an optimal, quick and safe, preferably meandering insertion of the cartridge belt 1 is always guaranteed.
  • the sliders 35 arranged on the two zippers 12 are connected to each other with their slider handles 36 via a decoupable connecting band 37 arranged on the two slider handles 36.
  • the bag can be opened very quickly.
  • the two zippers 12, which are connected to one another in a decoupled manner, can also be decoupled if necessary.
  • a buckle 39 is provided, which makes it possible to open both zippers 12 individually if necessary.
  • the material used for the different parts/components of the bag can be similar or different.
  • the bag according to the invention consists of a woven fabric that is wear and rot-resistant, with all materials of the components arranged in the bag, which can also consist of leather, Velcro, fleece or woven fabrics, by conventional methods
  • backpacks and containers for military purposes such as sewing, riveting and/or gluing, they are fastened to one another and to one another.
  • special seams such as the seam between the pocket back wall 4 and the pocket side walls 5, can be designed, for example, as a fold seam 20, so that the bag is profiled/stabilized in its rectangular shape by these fold seams 20.
  • the pocket closure flap 3 consists of a pocket cover 7 adjacent to the pocket rear wall 4 and closing the rectangular opening of the cover, a fixing piece 8 adjacent to the pocket cover 7 and a closure tab 9 adjacent to the fixing piece 8.
  • an adapter 29, on the bottom surface of which a hook tape fixing surface is arranged is fastened in a fixed position on the fleece tape rectangular surface sewn in the middle of the fixing piece 8.
  • a cartridge position securing plate 10 with a cartridge position securing clamping element 11 is arranged inside the pocket on the pocket lid 7, adjacent to the rectangular opening of the pocket.
  • the cartridge position securing plate 10 used in the present exemplary embodiment consists of a base plate made of leather which is provided with two through holes 38, the cartridge position securing clamping element 11, in the present exemplary embodiment a round rubber, being guided through these two through holes 38 in such a way that its free ends are secured by means of knots and / or are firmly fixed in position together with the base plate by seams on the bag lid 7.
  • the “first” cartridge can be placed in the pocket, as in the exemplary embodiment Figures 8 and 9 shown, can be securely fixed on the cartridge position securing plate 10 by means of the associated cartridge position securing clamping element 11, quickly, reliably, and optimally accessible.
  • one or more compression units 13 are arranged next to one another along the longitudinal direction of the pocket and, if necessary, the pocket rear wall 4 and the pocket side walls 5 are arranged next to one another.
  • Each of the compression units 13 shown in the exemplary embodiment consists of two compression eyelets 21 arranged opposite one another in the pocket side walls 5 and one sewn onto the area of the compression eyelets 21, as well as the adjacent insides of the pocket side walls 5 and onto the inner side of the pocket rear wall 4 lying between them, ie the area around and between the compression eyelets 21 tunnel-shaped compression tunnel 22, through which one in the compression eyelets 21 on both Compression band 23 emerging from the pocket side walls 5 is arranged/runs.
  • cord stoppers 24 with actuation buttons 25 are arranged on the end regions of the compression band 23 that emerge outwards on both pocket side walls 5 in the compression eyelets 21, and the compression band 23 is formed by a tension rubber.
  • two compression units 13 were distributed over the length of the bag.
  • the compression units 13 are quickly accessible from the sides and thereby ensure rapid decompression when necessary, i.e. in use, so that in the event of rifle fire, the cartridge belt 1, which is quickly decompressed, can be easily and reliably continuously, without jamming or hooking of the individual cartridges . with each other, can run out of the bag.
  • an internal volume reduction band 14 which is approximately 5% to 10% narrower in width than the width of the pocket rear wall 4 is arranged inside the pocket, the length of which is limited on the one hand by a fixing end 15 and on the other hand by a free end 16, whereby this Fixing 15 inside the pocket, on the pocket rear wall 4, spaced about 30% to 40% of the total pocket rear wall length from the pocket bottom 2, is firmly sewn, with the opposite free end 16, corresponding to
  • the inner pocket volume required for the cartridge belt 1 is continuously fixed in position along the pocket cover 6, adjustable on the pocket cover 6, for example by means of Velcro fasteners.
