Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a concealed door hinge for the pivotable mounting of a door leaf on a door frame according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a generic concealed door hinge for concealed installation and pivotable mounting of a door leaf on a door frame is from EP 3680431 A1 known.
  • the concealed door hinge known from this publication consists essentially of a first housing that can be inserted into a narrow side of a door leaf or a door frame and a second housing that can be inserted into the door frame or the narrow side of the door leaf, as well as a multi-axis joint with two joint bodies that connects the two housings to one another.
  • a further disadvantage is that the housing of this concealed door hinge must be made of very stable metallic materials, since the load must be transferred essentially via threads in which adjusting spindles or clamping screws are used to adjust the position of the housing relative to those arranged on it Mounting plates can be fixed, are screwed. These threads have to meet high requirements for fatigue strength (200,000 openings under the maximum permissible load).
  • the object of the present invention is to further develop a concealed door hinge in such a way that housings made of non-metallic materials can also be used.
  • the concealed door hinge according to the invention has a first housing that can be inserted into a narrow side of a door leaf or into a door frame, and a first housing that can be inserted into the Door frame or the narrow side of the door leaf can be used on the second housing.
  • the concealed door hinge also has a multi-axis joint with two joint bodies, which connects the two housings to one another.
  • the concealed door hinge also has first and second fastening plates, via which one of the housings can be fastened to the door frame or the door leaf.
  • the joint bodies are slidably guided at a first end via a longitudinal guide in a respective joint receptacle of the housing and are pivotably mounted at a second end via an axis of rotation.
  • the first housing has bores for receiving an adjusting spindle in each case.
  • the second housing has bores each for receiving a clamping screw for aligning the housing relative to the mounting plates.
  • At least one of the housings has, in an overlapping area with the fastening plates, respective insertion pockets in which threaded plates are accommodated, in the threads of which the adjusting spindles or the clamping screws can be fixed.
  • the viewing direction of the overlapping area of the housing with the fastening plates is perpendicular to the surfaces of the respective housing in which the bores are introduced.
  • the threaded plates inserted in the insertion pockets make it possible to manufacture the threads in which the adjusting spindles or the clamping screws are accommodated from a high-strength material, while the housing itself can be manufactured from a plastic or aluminum, for example.
  • the orientation of the first housing is relative to the first fastening plates arranged on it adjustable perpendicularly to a front surface of the first mounting plates by means of the adjusting spindles, the adjusting spindles being stationary in the respective mounting plates but rotatably mounted in the bore of the housing and being screwed into the first of the threaded plates.
  • the orientation of the second housing relative to the second fastening plates arranged on it can be fixed parallel to a plane imaginary to the front surface of the second fastening plates by means of the clamping screws, the clamping screws on the one hand being in a respective elongated hole in the second fastening plate in a first direction perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the clamping screws are displaceable.
  • the elongated hole is preferably aligned parallel to a pivot axis of the joint.
  • second threaded plates into which the clamping screws can be screwed, are slidably mounted in the respective insertion pockets in the plane parallel to the front surface of the second fastening plates.
  • a diameter of the bores in the second housing for accommodating a respective clamping screw is larger than the diameter of a neck piece of the clamping screw accommodated in the bore.
  • the diameters of the bores in the first and second housing for receiving the respective adjustment spindle or clamping screw are the same.
  • the two housings are of identical shape, which further simplifies the manufacture of the housing and also simplifies the storage of such housings, since no separate housings have to be kept ready to accommodate the adjusting spindles on the one hand and the clamping screws on the other.
  • the threaded plates are designed as steel plates and thereby reliably meet the requirements for the fatigue strength of the concealed door hinge.
  • the threaded plates are preferably designed as stamped parts with a thread cut into them.
  • a recess is formed on a rear side of the housing facing away from the joint receptacle.
  • the housing is manufactured as injection molded parts, for example as plastic injection molded parts or die-cast aluminum parts.
  • a draft bevel is formed on at least one outer wall of the housing.
  • top, bottom, left, right, front, rear, etc. refer exclusively to the exemplary representation and position of the concealed door hinge, housing, joint body, fastening plate, insertion pocket and the like selected in the respective figures. These terms are not to be understood as limiting, i.e. these references can change due to different working positions or the mirror-symmetrical design or the like.
  • the basic structure of the concealed door hinge 1 corresponds to that in FIG EP 3 680 431 A1 described concealed door hinge. On the EP 3 680 431 A1 reference is therefore expressly made here with regard to the basic structure and the function of the concealed door hinge 1 .
  • the concealed door hinge 1 has a first housing 2 and a second housing 3 .
  • the two housings 2, 3 are connected to one another by a multi-axis joint with two joint bodies 4, 5.
  • the joint bodies 4, 5 are inserted into respective pockets 22, 32 in a receiving body 21, 31 of the respective housing 2, 3.
  • housings 2, 3 mounting plates 6, 7 are used to fix the housing 2, 3 in one case on a door frame, not shown here, and in the other case on a door leaf.
  • the joint bodies 4, 5 are slidably guided at a first end via a longitudinal guide 10 in a respective joint mount 29, 39 of the housing 2, 3 and at a second end via a rotary axis 11, shown by way of example in figure 3 , pivoted.
  • the housings 2, 3 can be adjusted relative to the fastening plates 6, 7.
  • the mounting plates 6, 7 have mounting holes 62, 72 for fixing to the door or the door leaf, which are used to hold mounting screws (not shown).
  • the housings 2, 3 are adjusted relative to the mounting plates 6, 7 via two adjusting spindles 8, which are mounted in a stationary but rotatable manner in spindle receptacles 61 of the mounting plates 6 and in a respective bore 27 of a usually installed position projections 26 extending in the vertical direction y from a receiving body 21 of the housing 2 .
  • the bores 27 in the first housing 2 of the new concealed door hinge are not designed as threaded bores, but as smooth bores into which the adjusting spindles 8 or the clamping screws 9 only protrude, but are not screwed to them.
  • the diameter of these bores 27 is dimensioned in such a way that a spindle neck 81 of the adjusting spindles 8 is accommodated in the bores 27 with virtually no play, as is shown, for example, in figure 5 is shown.
  • Respective threaded plates 13 are used to hold the adjusting spindles 8 in the projections 26 of the first housing 2 .
  • the threaded plates 13 are accommodated in insertion pockets 28 in the projections 26 .
  • the insertion pockets 28 are positioned in an overlapping area with the fastening plates 6 .
  • the viewing direction of the overlap is perpendicular to the surfaces of the projections 26 of the housing 2, in which the holes 27 are introduced.
  • Each of the threaded plates 13 is provided with a threaded bore 131 into which the respective adjusting spindle 8 can be screwed.
  • the threaded plates 13 are aligned parallel to the mounting plates 6 .
  • the threaded plates 13 can be pushed into the insertion pocket 28 via a slot-side opening in the projection 26 of the first housing 2 .
  • the insertion pockets 28 are preferably dimensioned such that the threaded bore 131 of the threaded plates 13 is exactly aligned with the bores 27 in the projection 26 of the first housing 2, so that the adjusting spindle 8 can be screwed into the threaded bore 131 of the threaded plate 13 after the threaded plate 13 has been fully pushed in.
  • the housing 2 can be rotated relative to the mounting plates 6 in the direction of the longitudinal extension of the adjusting spindle 8 by turning the adjusting spindles 8 figure 2 be adjusted in the z-direction.
  • respective clamping screws 9 are used, which are passed through elongated holes 71 in the mounting plate 7 .
  • the elongated holes are preferably widened in the y-direction, i.e. in the direction of the.
  • a screw neck 91 of the clamping screws 9 extends through bores 37 in the respective extension 36 of the second housing 3, as shown in figure 3 and figure 6 can be seen.
  • the second housing 3 also has insertion pockets 38 in an overlapping area with the fastening plates 7, in which threaded plates 14 with threaded bores 141 for screwing in the clamping screws 9 are accommodated.
  • the dimensions of the threaded plate 14 relative to the insertion pocket 38 in the shoulder 36 of the second housing 3 are preferably dimensioned such that the length of the threaded plate 14 in the y-direction corresponds to the length of the pocket in the y-direction of the insertion pocket 38 .
  • the width of the threaded plate 14 in the x-direction perpendicular to the y-direction is preferably smaller than the width of the insertion pocket 38.
  • the diameter of the bore 37 in the extension 36 of the second housing 3 is larger than the diameter of the screw neck 91 of the clamping screw 9.
  • the second housing 3 is then fixed relative to the fastening plates 7 by tightening the clamping screw 9 .
  • the diameters of the bores 27, 37 in the first and second housing 2, 3 for receiving the respective adjustment spindle 8 or the clamping screw 9 are preferably the same.
  • the two housings 2, 3 are preferably identical in shape.
  • the threaded plates 13, 14 are preferably designed as stamped parts with threaded bores 131, 141 cut into them.
  • the housings 2, 3 are preferably made as plastic injection-molded parts or, for example, from aluminum using the die-casting process.
  • a side wall 23 of the receiving body 21 of the housing 2 is preferably provided with draft angles, the sections 23a and 23b or 33a and 33b, as in FIGS figures 1 and 7 is indicated, at an obtuse angle to one another are aligned, the deviation from a continuous plane of the side wall 23 preferably being less than 2°.
