Definitions

  • the invention relates to a pressure wave massage device for parts of the body, in particular erogenous zones such as the clitoris, with a pressure field generating device which has at least one cavity with a first end and a second end opposite the first end and at a distance from the first end, the first end having at least an opening for placement on a body part, and a drive device which is designed to bring about a change in the volume of the at least one cavity between a minimum volume and a maximum volume in such a way that a stimulating pressure field is generated in the at least one opening.
  • a device of the type mentioned is for example from DE 10 2013 110 501 A1 famous.
  • the cavity is formed by a first chamber and a second chamber.
  • the second chamber has an opening for placement on a body part or on an erogenous zone.
  • the two chambers are connected to each other via a narrow connecting channel.
  • the drive device is designed in such a way that it only changes the volume of the first chamber in such a way that a stimulating pressure field is generated in the second chamber via the connecting channel.
  • this known construction has significant disadvantages.
  • a use with lubricating gel or under water is not possible, since the lubricating gel or the water in the narrow connecting channel increases its throttling effect so much that the drive unit is stalled.
  • the known device does not meet the strict requirements for the necessary hygiene, since the connecting channel, due to its very small cross-section, prevents cleaning of the inner first chamber, so that dirt and bacteria can collect there and cannot be removed again.
  • a pressure field generating device which has at least one cavity with a first end and a second end opposite the first end and at a distance from the first end, the first end being provided with at least one opening for placement on a body part, and a Drive device which is designed to bring about a change in the volume of the at least one cavity between a minimum volume and a maximum volume in such a way that a stimulating pressure field is generated in the at least one opening, characterized in that the cavity is formed by a single chamber and that Ratio of volume change to minimum volume is not less than 1/10, preferably not less than 1/8.
  • the invention is characterized by a single-chamber solution, the advantages of which are a simpler structure, improved hygiene, in particular due to easier rinsing of the cavity according to the invention, which is only formed by a single chamber, and simple usability with lubricant or under water.
  • the ratio of the minimum volume to the change in volume should not be greater than 10, preferably not greater than 8, since it was found that the suction effect is otherwise too weak.
  • the Volume change the difference between maximum and minimum volume.
  • the volume of the cavity is defined as the volume of the chamber that ends in the area of the opening at a virtual planar surface that imaginarily closes the opening.
  • the ratio of the minimum volume to the change in volume should preferably not be less than 1 and preferably not less than 2, since it was found according to the invention that otherwise the power requirement of the drive device would be too great and the negative pressure at the opening would be too strong and possibly painful arises.
  • the minimum volume of the cavity is defined as the volume when the opening of the cavity is closed imaginarily with a virtual planar surface and the membrane is in an operating state or a position with the smallest distance to the opening.
  • the maximum volume of the cavity of the chamber is defined as the volume when the opening of the cavity is imaginarily closed with a virtual flat surface and the membrane is in an operating state or a position with the greatest distance from the opening.
  • the cross section of the cavity of the chamber defined transversely to its length between its two ends should preferably be essentially unchanged or at least over the entire length between its two ends be almost constant.
  • Cross section is preferably to be understood as meaning the cross-sectional shape and/or the cross-sectional area.
  • the cavity of the chamber can preferably essentially have the shape of a body of revolution with a circular or elliptical cross-section.
  • the cavity of the chamber may be in the form of a continuous tube.

  • the cavity of the chamber is preferably closed at its inner second end with a flexible membrane which extends essentially over the entire cross section of the cavity and is moved by the drive device alternately in the direction of the opening and in the opposite direction thereto.
  • the section of the chamber containing the opening is preferably provided as an exchangeable spout, the inner side wall of which forms a section of the side wall of the cavity leading to the opening.
  • the grommet should be made of flexible material, preferably silicone.
  • the inner sidewall of the spout should be substantially flush with the remaining portion of the sidewall of the cavity so that a discontinuity between the spout and the inner portion of the cavity of the chamber is avoided.
  • the inner side wall of the grommet forms an essentially continuous side wall of the cavity connecting the first end to the second end of the cavity and thus the opening of the grommet to the membrane, and the grommet together with the membrane a one-piece component. Due to the one-piece connection of sleeve and membrane, such a preferred development offers a construction that is particularly easy to manufacture and also has additional hygienic advantages since the entire component made of membrane and sleeve can be replaced, which is only possible with the single-chamber solution implemented according to the invention.
  • the pressure field should preferably consist of a pattern of relative negative and positive pressures which are modulated onto a reference pressure, preferably normal pressure.
  • the amount of the relative overpressure, based on the normal pressure is expediently smaller than the amount of the relative underpressure, based on the normal pressure, and is preferably not more than 10% of the amount of the relative underpressure. Because it has been found that under normal conditions of use, if the pressure wave massage device is not subjected to excessive contact pressure when it is placed with its opening on the body part to be stimulated, any relative overpressures that may occur can largely escape, so that the focus is already on these more actual considerations is to be aimed at a pressure field that is to be modulated predominantly in the negative pressure range.

  • the pressure wave massage device 1 shown in the figures in a preferred embodiment has an elongate housing 2 with a first end section 2a, an opposite second end section 2b and a middle section 2c lying in between.
  • the housing is preferably made of plastic.
  • the two end sections 2a and 2b are rounded and taper a little towards the middle section 2c, which is designed to be somewhat slimmer.
  • At the first end portion 2a of the housing 2 is a transverse to Longitudinal extension of the housing 2 is formed and forms a head of the pressure wave massage device 1 together with the first end section 2a of the housing 2, while the second end section 2b of the housing 2 preferably serves as a handle to hold the pressure wave massage device 1 during the following to be described in more detail keep application.

  • the mechanism 20 has an eccentric, the result in figure 5 sinusoidal periodic pressure profile shown.
  • the cross section of the cavity 12 of the chamber 14 is essentially constant over the entire length L, this means that the air flow rate is essentially constant over the entire length L of the cavity 12 during operation.
