Definitions

  • the invention relates to a bucket according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the generic bucket is part of a wiping system consisting of the bucket and a wiping device and has a dehumidifying insert for squeezing out a wiping head or a wiping plate of the wiping device, the bucket having a bucket wall with an upper bucket edge and has a top opening enclosed by the top rim of the bucket.
  • the dehumidifying insert fastened in or on the bucket has an insertion area open at the top for inserting the mop head or the mop plate into a dehumidifying receptacle formed by a rotatable or drivable sieve, a fixed sieve or a press.
  • Such a bucket with a dehumidification insert is from DE 698 20 196 T2 known.
  • the bucket has a dehumidifying insert that can also be placed in the middle of the bucket, into which a mop can be inserted for drying.
  • the bucket is divided into a fresh water area and a service or dirty water area by a partition.
  • Dehumidifying inserts for squeezing out a mop head or a mopping plate of a mopping device are also from the DE 102 10 569 A1 , the CN 201 337 425 Y , the EP 3 393 324 A1 and the EP 2 389 850 A1 known.
  • the two last-mentioned dehumidifying inserts have lateral retaining flanges, via which the dehumidifying inserts can be placed on the edge of the bucket.
  • Such dehumidifying inserts are used to dry fringed mops or folded mops after absorbing liquids when cleaning floors or the like.
  • the mopping head or the mopping plate is inserted into the dehumidification receptacle of the dehumidification insert via the mopping device pressed to dry.
  • Press sieves, rotating sieves for spinning dry or also press plates can be used as a dehumidification receptacle, which are pressed together by pressing in the mopping device while pinching the damp mopping plate or the fringed mops.
  • a bucket with a laterally arranged in the interior dehumidification insert for squeezing a mop head of the type mentioned above is from WO 14022888 A1 known.
  • a press sieve is provided as a dehumidifying insert, so that the user can press a fringed mop into this insert to squeeze out mopping liquid.
  • a similar bucket with a funnel-shaped dehumidifying insert is from DE 10 2010 016 813 A1 known.
  • an attachment with an insertion and pressing funnel for the folded wiper plate of a floor wiper covers half of the upper, open side of the bucket.
  • the dehumidification insert which is attached to the edge of the bucket like a flange, is locked to the bucket via the pivot bearing of a handle.
  • a disadvantage of this dehumidifying insert is the fact that it covers a complete half of the bucket and thus the area for the mop head to soak into the water in the bucket is only on one side. Furthermore, for this reason it is not possible to differentiate between a fresh water and a service water area, since the uncovered, open part of the bucket is too small for a conventional bucket size to provide two separate water reservoirs with the possibility of immersing oneself.
  • a bucket with a rotating sieve as a device for drying a mop head, which is set in rotation by the mopping device, is from EP 1 890 585 A1 known.
  • the mop head is inserted into the sieve on the side of the bucket, which is then dehumidified not by pressure but by rotation.
  • These two known buckets have the disadvantage that the dehumidifying insert is arranged decentrally, which can result in the user unintentionally applying a tilting moment when squeezing out the wiper covering and there is a risk of splashing on the edge near the dehumidifying insert.
  • buckets with press plates which, after the plate wings of the mop head have been inserted, are pressed via a foot drive against an inside of the bucket wall for drying.
  • These devices have the disadvantage that a complex mechanism, which takes up a comparatively large amount of space in the bucket, is required to drive the pressing plates.
  • the operator has to press down a foot pedal, which is often not very easy, since the mopping device has to be held in the dehumidification receptacle at the same time and the pedal has to be operated with one foot.
  • the U.S. 3,341,876 A again shows a bucket with an upwardly protruding dome arranged in the middle of the bottom of the bucket, on which an abutment edge is arranged, under which a sponge of a mopping device can be clamped with a corresponding abutment edge. The sponge is then squeezed out by pivoting the mopping device together with the sponge rigidly attached to the mopping device.
  • These buckets have the disadvantage that they are only suitable for rigid mopping devices and a few types of mopping heads that can be squeezed out by hooking them under the edge of the abutment and cumbersome, space-consuming tilting of the mopping device.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to create a bucket with a dehumidifying insert for squeezing out a mop head, in which easier handling is possible with a reduced risk of the bucket tipping over and a lower risk of splashing when squeezing out.
  • this object is achieved by a bucket with a dehumidifying insert according to claim 1
  • the bucket according to the invention allows the mopping head of the mopping device to be squeezed out with optimum force distribution and the dehumidifying insert to be fixed in the usage position in the bucket. Due to the central arrangement of the dehumidification insert, a soaking area remains free on both sides and pressing forces that occur as a result of the mopping device being pressed into the dehumidification receptacle are exerted centrally on the bucket. This avoids the occurrence of tilting moments. In addition, it is advantageous that a sufficient distance from the edge of the bucket is now maintained on both sides of the dehumidifying insert, so that the risk of liquid splashing over the edge of the bucket is minimized when the mop head or the mop plate is being squeezed out.
  • the invention can be used in connection with all buckets that have a device for drying a mop head in the form of a fringed mop, in the form of wiping plates or in some other form as a dehumidifying insert.
  • These drying devices can remove the moisture from the wiper covering or the fringes by pressing forces, by rotation or in some other way, with the degree of drying being able to be selected depending on the application.
  • a bucket with a rectangular bucket rim and rounded corner areas will preferably be used. But here, too, the invention is not limited to such a rectangular bucket.
  • the dehumidification insert is as shown in the EP 2 389 850 A1 is already described, held with two lateral retaining flanges on the edge of the bucket. These are releasably attached to the bucket via a snap-in connection.
  • a further aspect of the invention is that the position of the dehumidification insert in the bucket is clearly defined by the shape of the components. This can be done by adapting the contact areas with which the dehumidifying insert rests against the edge of the bucket, the inner bucket wall or the bottom to the contour of the bucket, in which case the contour can then be designed in such a way that there is only one possibility there, the dehumidification insert put in the bucket. Of course, this can be done very easily using the lateral retaining flanges described above and the edge of the bucket. In this case the bucket rim has two opposing sections which are shaped in such a way that the retaining flanges can be placed on these sections. In all other areas, the bucket then has a different shape that prevents the mounting flange from being placed. This can be done via the curvature as well as via the thickness of the edge of the bucket or the shape of the retaining flange.
  • dehumidification insert in a different position on the bucket.
  • defined positions can be created, for example the position according to the invention in the middle of the bucket and additionally at least one further position in the area of one side at the edge of the bucket, so that the dehumidifying insert can also be used in a position as in the prior art technique has already been described. In this way the user can then choose whether he would rather use a central dehumidification insert or an external dehumidification insert.
  • These two positions of the dehumidification insert can also be defined by adjusting the contour of the retaining flanges and the edge of the bucket.
  • a handle of the bucket is used to attach the dehumidifying insert.
  • the handle is mounted in an articulated manner on the bucket in the region of the retaining flange, the mounting and movement of the handle being used to lock the connection between the retaining flange and the edge of the bucket.
  • This locking can be the exclusive attachment or an additional attachment of the dehumidification insert.
  • the handle and/or the dehumidifying insert can then have a blocking element that automatically engages behind an abutment edge on the respective other component with an abutment edge when the handle is lowered to the right and/or left onto the bucket edge.
  • the handle is set up, the gripping behind the abutment edge or the abutment edge is canceled and the dehumidification insert can be released will. So that the removal of the dehumidification insert is not impeded by the raised handle, it is provided here that the mechanical blocking is released even at a comparatively small swivel angle, so that the dehumidification insert can already be removed with a handle set up at 30° or 45°, for example.
  • the locking via the movement of the handle can also be designed in such a way that when the handle is laid down on one side of the bucket, the dehumidifying insert is locked and is released when it is laid down on the opposite side.
  • the removal of the dehumidifying insert from the bucket can be useful in particular for cleaning purposes or also for the purpose of adapting to the shape of the mop head of the mopping device by exchanging the dehumidifying insert for a dehumidifying insert of a different design.
  • a click or latch connection and/or some other connection can also be provided. If the dehumidifying insert is not designed to be interchangeable or the functional components of the dehumidifying insert are interchangeable on the dehumidifying insert itself, the retaining flanges or another area of the dehumidifying insert can also be glued or welded to the bucket, which is usually made of plastic.
  • another advantageous embodiment of the invention has two volumes within the bucket.
  • a central partition is provided which separates the two volumes from one another. So dirty water can be stored on one side and clean water on the other side of the bucket.
  • Such a dividing wall can be inserted into the bucket itself and fastened, for example, via groove-like indentations in the bucket wall and possibly also in the bottom.
  • the dividing wall can also be arranged on the dehumidification insert, protruding downwards.
  • Such a dividing wall does not necessarily have to be connected to the bucket in a completely liquid-tight manner; in many cases it is sufficient if only the free exchange of liquid between one volume and the other is suppressed.
  • a separate seal can be dispensed with here.
  • the dehumidifying insert preferably has a dehumidifying receptacle with a dirty water outlet, via which the dirty water is routed into one of the two areas of the bucket, so that when the mop head is pushed out the dirty water that is squeezed out reaches one of the two areas in a defined manner.
  • the draining of the dirty water into an area of the bucket can be done, for example, via a dirty water collection space provided below the dehumidification receptacle, which is connected to the respective volume of the bucket via the dirty water outlet.
  • the user can drench it in fresh water and continue cleaning with clean water. Even if this fresh water is not completely pure, for example because the seal of the partition wall is not 100% tight, it is possible in this way to prevent the water that is picked up again via the mop head from becoming increasingly dirty and, in particular, from solids that have been wiped up, such as animal hair, etc. , get back into the mop head.
  • the dirty water area can also be provided as a separate compartment in the lower area of the bucket.
  • the bucket has a double bottom and the dirty water drain is fluidically connected to the cavity of this double bottom.
  • a drain must be provided here, via which this cavity can then be emptied after the bucket has been used.
  • the bucket 1 here has a rectangular cross-section 2 opposite long sides and two opposite narrow sides, which together form the rounded edge 5 of the bucket.
  • a handle 4 is provided in the middle of the long sides.
  • the bucket 1 also has a dehumidifying insert 6 in this area.
  • the dehumidifying insert 6 has a first retaining flange 7 and a second retaining flange 8 on two opposite sides, with which it protrudes over the edge 5 of the bucket. These retaining flanges 7, 8 surround the thickened bucket edge 5 and can be detachably latched to it.
  • the handle 4 can either be mounted on the dehumidifying insert 6 if the connection between the dehumidifying insert 6 and the bucket 1 is sufficiently stable, or alternatively it can also be articulated directly on the bucket edge 5 .
  • the bucket 1 is off figure 1 shown in each case in connection with the various possibilities of inserting a mopping device 2 into the bucket 1.
  • figure 2 shows the insertion of the mopping device 2 into the dehumidification receptacle of the dehumidification insert 6.
  • This dehumidification receptacle here is an insertion shaft that is designed as a press basket 9 in the lower area.
  • the bucket 1 according to the invention is provided here for drying a mopping device 2 which has a mopping head 3 designed as a plate wiper.
  • the wiper covering which is stretched between the panel wings during cleaning, hangs below the folded ones Plate wings down and is pressed by the plate wings into the press basket 9 and pressed out with it.
  • this is only an exemplary embodiment of the mop head 3.
  • the essential innovation of the invention is the fact that the dehumidifying insert 6 is now arranged in the middle of the bucket 1 .
  • This makes it possible to squeeze out or eject the mop head 3 of the mop 2 in the middle of the bucket, which is more favorable in terms of both the tilting moments when the mop 2 is pressed in and the risk of splashing than arranging the dehumidifying insert 6 in the side areas of the bucket 1.
  • this possibility offers further design options for the bucket 1 and makes it easier to carry the bucket 1 without it tilting as a result of being overweight due to the dehumidifying insert 6 arranged on the side.
