Definitions

  • the invention relates to a wiper device, in particular for the cleaning of surfaces and in particular of walls, ceilings, doors and furniture.
  • Wipers for the cleaning of surfaces have long been known in the field of cleaning.
  • Such known wipers have a clamping device for receiving a wiping textile such as a cleaning cloth or a mop-like cover.
  • the contact pressure necessary for the cleaning is transmitted through a working surface, which is usually arranged on the underside of the wiper device and on which the wiping textile lies in a defined manner.
  • the working surface in the present context is understood to be the surface which supports the wiping textile substantially parallel to the surface to be cleaned and serves to exert pressure.
  • a handle is hinged to such wipers, said articulated connection is usually designed as a loose double joint.
  • Such a wiper device is eg from the US 5,461,749 known, which discloses a wiper device according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such wiping devices are particularly unsuitable for the cleaning of ceilings and walls, since in such constructions, the work surface always oriented downwards due to its own weight and the property of the double joint. It is therefore possible only with great skill to put the work surface side or up, which would be particularly necessary for the cleaning of walls and ceilings.
  • the wiping textile can be attached to the wipers. It is known, for example, to attach the wiping cloth to the wiper by means of bands or to use hook-and-loop fasteners or snaps for the attachment. Further, it is known to use a wiping cloth provided with pockets into which side end pieces of the mop are inserted. It is to be considered disadvantageous in these embodiments that the wiping textile for washing always has to be taken out of the clamping device.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a wiper device that allows easy cleaning of walls, ceilings, doors, furniture and the like, as far as possible avoids the disadvantages inherent in the prior art and at the same time allows the efficient use of wiping fabric surface used.
  • the clamping device has an elongated clamping point formed in the region of a front edge of the working surface, and the handle is articulated via a spring arrangement which generates a restoring force at a deflection.
  • An inventively designed wiper device has the advantage that although it allows the spring arrangement to tilt the handle relative to the work surface with little effort, the wiper device, however, automatically returns to its original position after discharge.
  • Another advantage lies in the fact that the work surface and thus also the wiping textile always lie flat on a surface to be cleaned by the spring arrangement. This can be a optimal cleaning can be achieved. In this case, during the wiping process, for example, from top to bottom occurring angle changes in the handle relative to the cleaning surface are completely absorbed by the spring arrangement. At the same time, pressure is generated in the area of the front edge of the work surface. This has the advantage that a scraping effect occurs in this area, while a wiping or dirt-absorbing effect is achieved in the rear area. Thus, the dirt is released from the cleaning surface by the region of the leading edge and is received in the rear region by the wiper textile.
  • An additional advantage results from the clamping device arranged in the region of a front edge of the working surface. This allows the user to make optimum use of all sides of a wiping textile.
  • the wiping textile for example, folded in the middle and the resulting edge be clamped, resulting in four working pages.
  • the entire textile surface can be used for cleaning except for the area of the edge created.
  • the wiper device on two opposing work surfaces. This improves the utilization of the entire surface of the wiping textile, since by rotating the wiper device in each case a different side of the wiping textile rests on one of the two work surfaces. Therefore, without removing the wiper textile from the clamping device, all pages are used efficiently.
  • the respective working surface is formed in each case by one side of a flat pressure plate.
  • the clamping device has at least one clamping jaw. This has the advantage that conventional cleaning wipes can be used instead of more expensive wiping textiles provided with pockets, hook-and-loop fasteners or buttons.
  • the clamping device is integrated in the front region of the respective pressure plate.
  • the production cost for such a wiper device can be reduced.
  • the wiper device is formed with at least two jaws, wherein the jaws are connected to each other via a bearing point and at least one of the jaws is spring-loaded against the other jaw movable.
  • the jaws define the aforementioned elongated nip.
  • the respective jaws can be opened against the spring force and are always in the unloaded state due to the spring force against each other, whereby a firm clamping of the wiping textile is made possible.
  • this bearing is designed like a hinge, so that the jaws are tilted together.
  • the jaws are always against each other and the mop cloth can be firmly clamped, is preferably mounted between one of the jaws and the bearing at least one leg spring.
  • the spring arrangement is connected to one of the pressure plates and at least one of the pressure plates provided with a recess whose width substantially corresponds to the width of the spring arrangement. This design prevents a deflection of the spring assembly collides with an edge of the pressure plate.
  • At least one of the jaws in the region of the elongated nip is provided with a toothing, so that a wiping cloth is held firmly in the nip and can not slip or slip out in use.
  • At least one of the clamping jaws is provided in the region of its end face with an ejection surface.
  • the mop textile can be washed out by immersion in a container, without having to remove the cloth from the clamping device.
  • the container is additionally designed with a press screen, the wash water can be pressed out of the wiping textile.
  • the pressing surface described above which is adapted to the counter surface in the press screen, makes it possible to transfer the pressing force well on the mopping fabric and thus facilitate the squeezing of the water.
  • At least one of the clamping jaws has a width of around 200 mm to around 400 mm in order to provide a sufficient wiping area and good handling. Furthermore, this width enables the use of wiping textiles which are customary in the cleaning industry and which generally have a similar width.
  • the handle has at one end a receiving opening for an extension style.
  • the end of the extension style is pushed into the designated receiving opening of the handle, resulting in a power-fluid connection.
  • the handle in the region of the receiving opening in addition to at least one spring-loaded locking pin, which engages in a corresponding recess in the extension style and this additionally fixed.
  • the wiping textile can be freed by washing in water and later squeezing out of collected dirt.
  • one end of the handle is designed with a mushroom-like contour.
  • the surface of the handle is provided with ergonomically adapted depressions in the form of a finger contour or with a corrugation.
  • the handle is well in the user's hand during the work process.
  • the wiper device consists essentially entirely of plastic.
  • the wiper has a low weight what the application, especially for cleaning ceilings, easier.
  • the plastic wiper device is corrosion resistant and more economical compared to other materials.
  • the wiping textile for a wiper device is one for clamping into the nip of the clamping device provided clamping, which divides the wiping textile into two areas, each with two sides.
  • the wiping textile is folded at this clamping point and the resulting edge is clamped in the nip of the clamping device.
  • the surface texture of the two sides of the wiping textile can be designed differently.
  • a surface may be formed such that a good cleaning effect can be achieved and the other such that the previously dissolved from one side dirt can be well received.
  • the surfaces of the wiping textile can be optimally adapted to the respective cleaning conditions.
  • Fig. 1 the wiper device 1 is shown in the initial position.
  • the wiping textile 2 rests on the working surface 3 and is clamped along the nip 5 in the clamping device 4.
  • the respective work surface 3 is formed by one side of the respective pressure plate 9.
  • the clamping device 4 shown in an integral design with the pressure plate 9 is connected via a bearing 8 with the spring assembly 6, which is mounted directly on one end of the handle 7.
  • the spring assembly 6 is immovably mounted with the bearing 8 relative to the clamping device 4 and the pressure plates 9.
  • the articulated mounting of the handle 7 is ensured exclusively by the spring assembly 6.
  • Fig. 2 shows the deflected by the angle ⁇ wiper device 1 of Fig. 1 ,
  • the angle changes ⁇ of the handle 7 relative to the working surface 3, and thus also the surface of the wiping textile 2, occurring during the wiping process, eg, from top to bottom, are completely absorbed by the flexible spring arrangement 6.
  • the design of the spring assembly 6 is done with little effort by the user. In this case, one of the work surfaces 3 is placed on the surface to be cleaned and the handle 7 according to a pleasant working position relative to the surface to be cleaned and thus also the Working surface 3 inclined at an angle ⁇ . If the work surface 3 is not under force on the surface to be cleaned, so the wiper device by the restoring force of the spring assembly 6 is automatically in the starting position, shown in Fig. 1 , back.
  • Fig. 3 the wiper device 1 of the invention Fig. 1 shown, wherein the clamping device 4 has two jaws 10, 11, which are shown in the open position.
  • the bearing 8 connects the handle 7 with the two jaws 10, 11 and lies, as shown in the example, in the interior between the two jaws 10, 11.
  • Said bearing 8 connects the two jaws 10, 11 with each other such that the two jaws 10, 11 are tilted against each other to allow the clamping of a wiper textile 2.
  • the two jaw ends 12, 13 are always against each other, the two jaws 10, 11 are spring-loaded in the region of the bearing 8, for example by means of one or more torsion springs. If the two jaws 10, 11 are compressed at their end facing the handle 7 by simultaneous operation, the two jaw ends 12, 13 move apart.
