- Strapping tapes with a bandwidth of up to 60 mm can preferably be processed into the coils in question by winding the strapping tapes onto the core (helically).
- the strap thickness of the strapping can be in the range from 0.5 mm to 1.5 mm. Preferably even tape thicknesses of 0.5 mm to 2 mm can be achieved. As a result, the overall coil outer diameter or outer diameter of the coil realized in this way of up to 1200 mm is observed.
- the inside diameter or coil inside diameter is approx. 400 mm in this connection and corresponds to the outside diameter of the wrapped core.
