Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a drain fitting for a sanitary device with a drain pipe into which water can flow through an inflow opening to empty the sanitary device and out again through an outflow opening to drain the water, and with a closure element which can be moved between a closed position and a release position is, wherein the closure element closes the inflow opening in the closed position and releases it in the release position.
  • a drain fitting in the sanitary arrangement has a trough onto which water can be directed from the faucet of the sanitary arrangement.
  • the flow rate of the water hitting the trough distributes it in the sanitary arrangement so that it can be cleaned.
  • the disadvantage of this is that the water consumption of the cleaning carried out in this way is relatively high and the water splashes around in the sanitary arrangement in an uncontrolled manner, so that the cleaning performance is low.
  • the faucet must be opened just right, otherwise the water from the faucet will miss the trough.
  • the object of the present invention is therefore to eliminate the disadvantages of the prior art.
  • a drain fitting for a sanitary device is proposed.
  • the sanitary device can be, for example, a washbasin or some other sanitary facility that can be filled with water.
  • a bathtub is also conceivable, for example.
  • the drain fitting is arranged in a drain opening or a drain of the sanitary device.
  • the drain fitting also has a drain pipe into which water can flow through an inflow opening for emptying the sanitary device and out again through an outflow opening for draining the water.
  • the drain pipe is also used in its intended use in a drain opening or in the drain of the sanitary device.
  • the water is drained from the sanitary fixture through the drain pipe.
  • the inflow opening faces a receiving space for water in the sanitary device.
  • the water from the sanitary device can thus flow directly through the inflow opening into the drain pipe.
  • the outflow opening faces a drain pipe, which can drain the water to a sewage system.
  • the inflow opening is generally always arranged in the lowest area of the sanitary device, so that the water always runs to this lowest area of the sanitary device.
  • the drain fitting also has a closure element which can be moved between a closed position and a release position, the closure element closing the inflow opening in the closed position and releasing it in the release position.
  • the closure element can be a plug which, in a washbasin as a sanitary device, prevents the water from being able to flow out of the sanitary device when the closure element is in the closed position.
  • the closure element can be moved into the release position so that the inlet opening is released so that in turn the water can flow out of the sanitary device, for example out of the washbasin.
  • the closure element can move, for example, in an axial direction of the drain pipe. For example, the closure element in the sanitary device move in so that it is then in the release position and releases the entry opening.
  • the closure element can protrude into the sanitary device or be moved into the sanitary device when it is moved into the release position. In this way, a gap between the drain pipe and the closure element can be opened, so that the water from the sanitary device can flow around the closure element and into the drain pipe.
  • the drain fitting has a cleaning device, by means of which a cleaning agent can be fed into the sanitary device and by means of which the cleaning agent can be distributed in the sanitary device.
  • a cleaning agent can be fed into the sanitary device and by means of which the cleaning agent can be distributed in the sanitary device.
  • dirt such as residues of toothpaste or soap, hair or dust in the sanitary device can be removed.
  • the cleaning agent is a liquid such as water with a chemical cleaner (or just water), which is distributed with the cleaning device in the sanitary device and which rinses off the dirt.
  • the cleaning agent can also include a disinfectant.
  • the cleaning agent with the dirt is then also disposed of through the drain pipe.
  • the drain fitting thus has the cleaning device, so that the cleaning agent can be routed into the sanitary device by means of the cleaning device.
  • the water in the sanitary fixture can be held back if necessary and, in addition, the cleaning agent can be fed into the sanitary fixture and distributed therein in order to clean the sanitary fixture.
  • the drain fitting is thus a combination device with which the water can be retained and disposed of in the sanitary fixture, if necessary, and the sanitary fixture can be cleaned. Since the cleaning device is integrated into the waste fitting, there is no need for additional cleaning elements.
  • Such a drain fitting with the cleaning device can also be simple be retrofitted. Only the old drain fitting has to be replaced with the drain fitting with the cleaning device. Alternatively, the structural unit of the cleaning device can be inserted into an already existing drain pipe, which in particular is already arranged in the sanitary device.
  • the cleaning device is arranged in the drain pipe.
  • the drain fitting with the cleaning device is of compact design.
  • the drainage fitting is not or only slightly enlarged by the integration of the cleaning device.
  • the cleaning device can be moved in the axial direction of the drain pipe. As a result, the cleaning device can be moved into the sanitary device for cleaning.
  • the cleaning device can be moved between a cleaning position and a retracted position.
  • the cleaning device is extended out of the drain pipe in the cleaning position and retracted into the drain pipe in the retracted position.
  • the cleaning device can move in the axial direction between the cleaning position and the retracted position. In the cleaning position, the cleaning device projects out of the drain pipe and, if the drain fitting is arranged in the sanitary device, into the sanitary device, so that the sanitary device can be cleaned from the inside. If the cleaning device is not required, it can be moved back into the retracted position, for example pulled back or pushed back, so that it no longer interferes with normal use, for example personal hygiene, of the sanitary device.
  • the cleaning device In the retracted position, the cleaning device is retracted into the drain pipe, so that the cleaning device does not take up any space outside the drain pipe.
  • the cleaning device has a cleaning head that has a spray device by means of which the cleaning agent can be distributed in the sanitary device.
  • the cleaning agent can also be distributed in different directions.
  • the cleaning device has an extension tube which has the cleaning head on a first end facing the closure element and through which the cleaning agent can be conducted.
  • the first end faces the closure element when the cleaning device is in the retracted position.
  • the cleaning head can be moved further into the sanitary device through the extension tube, so that it can be cleaned better.
  • the extension tube is designed as a telescopic tube.
  • the telescopic tube can have several tube elements that are inserted into one another and can move in relation to one another. This means that the extension pipe can be accommodated in the waste fitting to save space.
  • the cleaning device can also be moved far into the sanitary device in order to improve the cleaning performance.
  • the cleaning head can be moved particularly far into the sanitary device in order to clean it.
  • the closure element has a through opening through which the cleaning device can be moved out of the drain pipe into the sanitary device.
  • the closure element is therefore ring-shaped, with the closure element being arranged around the cleaning device.
  • the cleaning device can only be moved into the sanitary device if the drain fitting is arranged in the sanitary device.
  • the passage opening may be arranged in the middle of the closure element so that the cleaning device can be moved coaxially through the closure element.
  • the extension tube can also be moved through the passage opening of the closure element.
  • the drain fitting has a guide tube in which the extension tube is guided. Additionally or alternatively, the extension tube is arranged in the guide tube.
  • the guide tube can direct the cleaning agent to the extension tube when this is arranged in the cleaning position, for example.
  • the guide tube is arranged coaxially with the drain tube.
  • the extension pipe can be moved in the axial direction, in particular coaxially, with respect to the drain pipe.
  • the cleaning agent can be guided through the guide tube and/or the extension tube.
  • the guide tube and/or the extension tube thus also form a line system in order to conduct the cleaning agent into the sanitary device. It is advantageous if the guide tube and/or the extension tube guide the cleaning agent to the cleaning head.
  • the cleaning device and/or the drain fitting has a locking device, by means of which the cleaning device can be locked in the retracted position. This prevents the cleaning fixture from moving into the plumbing fixture when not in use.
  • the locking device is thus a safety device.
  • the locking device is designed in such a way that the cleaning device can be unlocked by means of a pressure pulse, so that the cleaning device can be moved into the cleaning position.
  • Such a locking device has a so-called push-down function.
  • the locking device is also known as a push-open lock.
  • the locking device is unlocked by briefly pressing, a pressure pulse, on the cleaning device, so that the cleaning device can be moved into the cleaning position.
  • the cleaning device When the cleaning device is briefly pressed, it can move a short distance of a few millimeters downwards or into the drain pipe, whereupon the cleaning device is unlocked and thus released.
  • the locking device has suitable means for this purpose, such as a spring element and/or a hook, in order to lock the cleaning device. After the cleaning device is unlocked, it can be moved into the cleaning position with the aid of a spring element, for example. The spring element thus presses the cleaning device into the cleaning position.
  • the cleaning device can be moved from the retracted position into the cleaning position by means of pressure from the cleaning agent.
  • the pressure of the cleaning agent is, for example, the water pressure when the cleaning agent is or comprises water. In order to be able to spray the cleaning agent around in the sanitary device, it must be pressurized. With the help of this pressure from the cleaning agent, the cleaning device can also be moved into the cleaning position, so that this takes place automatically.
  • the cleaning device can be rotated.
  • the cleaning agent can be distributed and/or sprayed around in the sanitary device.
  • the cleaning head can also be rotatable.
  • the extension tube can also be rotatable.
  • the cleaning device has a sealing means that in the retracted position of the cleaning device the passage opening of the closure element is sealed.
  • the water can be kept in the sanitary device and does not flow out through the through-opening.
  • the through-opening can be released so that the water can flow out of the sanitary device through the through-opening.
  • the cleaning agent used for cleaning which mostly includes water, can flow out through the through-opening, even when the closing element is in the closed position and closes the inflow opening.
  • the water can, of course, additionally flow through the inflow opening into the drain pipe when the closure element is in the release position.
  • the cleaning head has at least one deflection unit and/or the spray device is designed in such a way that the cleaning agent can emerge tangentially from the cleaning head, so that the cleaning agent flowing out at the cleaning head can cause the cleaning device to rotate.
  • the cleaning agent simply has to be sprayed tangentially to the cleaning head.
  • the cleaning device then has the shape of a sprinkler.
  • the drain fitting has a connection through which the cleaning agent can be routed to the cleaning device.
  • a line for example a water line, can be connected to the connection.
  • FIG 1 shows a drain fitting 1 for a sanitary device not shown here.
  • the sanitary device can be, for example, a washbasin, a bathtub or the like, in which water can be retained if required, for example for personal hygiene.
  • the drain fitting 1 has a drain pipe 2 which is inserted into a drain of the sanitary device, also not shown here.
  • the drain pipe 2 has an inflow opening 3 through which water can flow from the sanitary device into the drain pipe 2 so that the sanitary device is emptied.
  • the drain pipe 2 has an outflow opening 4 through which the water can flow out of the drain pipe 2 again.
  • the outflow opening 4 is followed by a drain pipe, which drains the water into a sewage system.
  • the drain fitting 1 has a closure element 5 which can be moved between a closed position and a release position.
  • the closing element 5 can close the inflow opening 3 so that the water is retained in the sanitary device.
  • the release position which in figure 2 is shown, the inflow opening 3 is released, so that the water can flow from the sanitary device into the drain pipe 2, whereupon it flows out of the drain pipe 2 again through the outflow opening 4.
  • the closure element 5 is a plug, which is however connected to the drain fitting 1 .
  • the closure element 5 can be moved in an axial direction X of the drain pipe between the closed position and the release position. The closure element 5 can thus be moved into the sanitary device.
  • the drain fitting 1 When used as intended, the drain fitting 1 is installed in the sanitary fixture in such a way that the inflow opening 3 is at the top, i.e. faces the sanitary fixture, and the outflow opening 4 is at the bottom. The water from the sanitary device then flows into the inflow opening 3 and out of the outflow opening 4 due to the force of gravity.
  • the drain fitting 1 has a cleaning device 6, by means of which a cleaning agent can be fed into the sanitary device and by means of which the cleaning agent can be distributed in the sanitary device.
  • dirt such as residues of toothpaste or soap, hair or dust
  • the cleaning device 6 can, for example, spray the cleaning agent in the sanitary device, so that the cleaning agent washes off the dirt.
  • the cleaning agent then flows out with the dirt through the drain pipe 2.
  • the cleaning agent flows through the inflow opening 3 into the outflow pipe 2 and out again through the outflow opening 4 out of the outflow pipe 2 .
  • the cleaning agent can be water with or without a chemical cleaner. Additionally or alternatively, the cleaning agent can also include a disinfectant.
  • the cleaning device 6 can also be moved between a retracted position and a cleaning position.
  • the retracted position of the cleaning device 1 is here in figure 1 shown.
  • the cleaning position is in figure 2 shown.
  • the cleaning device 1 can be moved in the axial direction X of the drain pipe 2 between the cleaning position and the retracted position.
  • the cleaning device 6 has a cleaning head 7 .
  • the cleaning agent or a cleaning liquid can be distributed in the sanitary device.
  • the cleaning head 7 can be moved in the axial direction X between the retracted position and the cleaning position.
  • the cleaning device 6 of the present exemplary embodiment has an extension tube 8 .
  • the extension tube 8 has a first end 9 which faces the closure element 5 or the inflow opening 3 in the retracted position. Furthermore, the extension tube 8 has a second end 10 which faces the outflow opening 4 here.
  • the extension tube 8 is oriented in the axial direction X and is movable in this axial direction X.
  • the extension tube 8 can be designed, for example, as a telescopic tube, so that the cleaning device, in particular the cleaning head 7, can be extended further, with the extension tube 8 itself being compact.
  • the drain fitting 1 also has a connection 13 to which a line 14 can be connected.
  • the cleaning agent in particular a liquid cleaning agent, can be conducted to the cleaning device 6 by means of the line 14 .
  • the cleaning device 6 has a guide tube 11 .
  • the extension tube 8 is arranged in the guide tube 11 .
  • the extension tube 8 is arranged coaxially with the guide tube 11 .
  • the extension tube 8 is movable in the axial direction X of the drain tube 2 in the guide tube 11 .
  • the cleaning head 7 can be extended further with the aid of the extension tube 8 so that the sanitary device can be cleaned better.
  • FIG 2 shows a side sectional view of a drain fitting 1 with the closure element 5 in the release position and the cleaning device 6 in the cleaning position.
  • the cleaning device 6 is designed as a type of sprinkler or shower rod that can clean the sanitary device from the inside.
  • the cleaning head 7 is arranged in the cleaning position here.
  • the cleaning head 7 protrudes beyond the drain pipe 2 and/or the closure element 5 .
  • the cleaning head 7 also protrudes into the sanitary device, so that it can distribute the cleaning agent in the sanitary device for cleaning.
  • the cleaning head 7 can advantageously be rotatable, so that it can distribute the cleaning agent in the sanitary appliance with the aid of a rotation.
  • the cleaning head 7 is rotatably connected to the extension tube 8 .
  • the cleaning device 6 is a sprinkler which distributes the cleaning agent in the sanitary device.
  • the cleaning device 6 can, for example, be moved from the retracted position into the cleaning position with the aid of pressure from the cleaning agent, ie, for example, water pressure.
  • the pressure of the cleaning agent thus presses the cleaning device 6 or, as shown here, the extension tube 8 and the cleaning head 7 mounted thereon from the retracted position to the cleaning position.
  • the cleaning device 6 can be extended automatically.
  • the cleaning device 6 can move from the cleaning position to the retracted position again when the pressure of the cleaning agent decreases and the cleaning device 6 moves back again due to its own weight.
  • the guide tube 11 has an upper stop 15 and a lower stop 16 .
  • the extension tube 8 is movable between the two stops 15, 16 in the axial direction X.
  • the extension tube 8 has a thickening 17 at its second end 10, which abuts the upper stop 15 in the cleaning position shown here and consequently prevents the extension tube 8 or the cleaning device 6 from being moved any further in the axial direction X.
  • the thickening 17 hits the lower stop 16, so that the extension pipe 8 or the cleaning device 6 is prevented from moving too far into the drain pipe 2 (cf. figure 1 ).
  • the through hole 12 is released. Furthermore, in this exemplary embodiment, the entry opening 3 is released, since the closure element 5 is in the release position here.
  • the cleaning agent can thus exit the sanitary device again through the inflow opening 3 and/or through the through-opening 12 after it has picked up the dirt in the sanitary device.
  • the cleaning agent is disposed of in the same way as the water from the sanitary device, which was used for washing, for example.
  • the cleaning agent also emerges from the discharge pipe 2 through the outlet opening 4 .
