Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a pole handle arrangement for hiking poles, trekking, Nordic walking, skiing, cross-country skiing and biathlon poles and the like, which comprise a pole handle and a wrist strap.
  • the hand strap is placed around the user's hand and attached to the pole grip by means of a connecting element, the hand strap being connected to a connecting element which can be inserted into the pole grip in an insertion direction and is releasably engaged with the pole grip, the connecting element being such configured and arranged in a position of use in the stick handle, that at least one section of the connecting element can be pivoted between a securing position and a release position about a longitudinal axis of the connecting element and the connecting element can be displaced in a removal direction in the released position and can be removed from the stick handle, with the longitudinal axis of the Connecting element in the securing position and in the release position has the same orientation relative to the stick handle, and the removal direction extends substantially transversely to the direction of insertion.
  • detachable hand straps were therefore developed, which are firmly connected to the user's hand and are ergonomically adapted to it.
  • Such hand straps have a connecting element that can be releasably connected to the stick handle.
  • the EP 1 036 579 A2 describes, for example, a pole grip arrangement in which a connecting element firmly connected to the hand strap can be pushed into the pole grip. The connecting element snaps into place in the stick handle and can be released again by actuating an actuating element on the upper side of the stick handle.
  • the EP 1 970 105 A1 proposes a pole grip arrangement as mentioned at the outset, in which the hand strap comprises a connecting element which is essentially cylindrical or disk-shaped, defined by a diameter and a thickness.
  • a vertical slot is formed in the stick grip, the width of which is slightly larger than the thickness of the connecting element and the height of which is slightly larger than the diameter of the connecting element.
  • a hollow space for receiving the connecting element is formed in the pole grip behind the slot.
  • the connecting element is accommodated in this cavity and is connected to the hand strap through the slot by a narrow connecting part.
  • the connecting element is arranged essentially transversely to the slot and cannot be removed from the pole grip.
  • the connecting element must be turned in such a way that the disk is arranged essentially vertically, ie aligned with the slot.
  • the connecting element can now be pulled out of the pole grip through the slot.
  • this requires a rotational movement of the user's hand or wrist, directed about a horizontal axis, during which the hand must be released from the stick handle. Since such a hand movement relative to the stick handle is still awkward, such a stick handle arrangement still has disadvantages in terms of ergonomics and ease of use.
  • More stick handle arrangements are from EP 3 020 456 A1 and the FR 3 044 235 A1 known.
  • a pole handle arrangement for hiking, trekking, Nordic walking, skiing, cross-country skiing and biathlon poles and the like comprises a pole handle and a hand strap, the hand strap being connected to a connecting element which can be inserted into the pole handle in an insertion direction and releasably engages the stick handle.
  • the connecting element is designed and arranged in a position of use in the stick handle in such a way that at least one section of the connecting element can be pivoted between a securing position and a release position about a longitudinal axis of the connecting element and the connecting element can be displaced in a removal direction in the released position and can be removed from the stick handle.
  • the longitudinal axis of the connecting element has the same orientation relative to the pole grip in the securing position and in the release position, with the removal direction extending essentially transversely to the insertion direction.
  • connection is established by simply pushing the connecting element into the pole grip, preferably linearly and directed in the direction of movement of the hand.
  • the user's hand only has to be guided a short distance downwards or upwards along the pole grip in order to pivot the connecting element between the securing position and the release position.
  • the connection element is to be moved laterally, preferably linearly, in the release position and removed from the stick handle. Both establishing and releasing the connection can therefore be achieved by ergonomically simple movements will. It is not necessary to twist the hand or wrist or operate an actuating element.
  • a particularly high level of operating convenience is achieved when the removal direction extends essentially transversely to the insertion direction, and the insertion direction and the removal direction each extend essentially transversely to a longitudinal axis of the stick handle.
  • the direction of insertion is essentially transverse, i.e. perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the stick handle, should be understood to mean that the connecting element can be pushed into the stick handle by moving the user’s hand towards the stick handle, as is usually the case when gripping the stick Stick grip is executed. From the user's point of view and in relation to the pole grip, the direction of insertion is thus essentially from the back to the front.
  • the removal direction is aligned essentially transversely, ie perpendicularly to the insertion direction and to the longitudinal axis, is also to be understood as meaning that the connecting element can be displaced in an essentially horizontal plane and laterally removed from the stick handle. From the user's point of view and in relation to the stick grip, the direction of removal is thus arranged essentially from left to right or vice versa.
  • the connecting element is essentially fixed in a translatory manner in the securing position.
  • the connecting element is essentially fixed in a translatory manner in the securing position, at least in the removal direction. This ensures that the connecting element cannot be removed from the pole grip and, above all, that the connection cannot be released unintentionally is prevented. It goes without saying that the connecting element can definitely have some play in the securing position and is not completely fixed as long as it is not possible to remove the connecting element in the removal direction.
  • the longitudinal axis of the connecting element provided as the axis of rotation is preferably aligned parallel to the removal direction. Since both the removal direction and the insertion direction are aligned transversely to the longitudinal axis of the stick handle and to the insertion direction, the pivoting of the connecting element between the secured position and the release position can be achieved by simply moving the user's hand up and down along the stick handle .
  • the pole grip comprises a holding device which is set up to exert a holding force on the connecting element when the connecting element is inserted into the pole grip.
  • the holding device preferably secures the connecting element in the direction of insertion when the connecting element is inserted into the pole grip. More preferably, the holding force acts on the connecting element in such a way that it counteracts removal of the connecting element against the direction of insertion and in the direction of removal. In this way it is achieved that the connecting element is held reliably in the pole grip.
  • the holding device can be designed in such a way and/or the holding force can be dimensioned in such a way that the removal of the connecting element against the direction of insertion is not possible at all.
  • the holding device and the holding force can also be designed in such a way that the connecting element cannot be released against the insertion direction under the normal forces occurring during use of the corresponding stick, but z. B. in the event of a fall, i.e. in the event of increased forces, can also be detached from the stick handle against the insertion direction.
  • the holding device preferably has at least one holding element which is mechanically engaged with the connecting element.
  • the connecting element can be snapped into place with the retaining element in the pole grip.
  • the connecting element is fixed in a form-fitting manner by the holding element.
  • the holding device has an elastic element connected to the holding element.
  • the elastic element can be designed, for example, as a spring, in particular as a compression, tension or torsion spring and is arranged in a cavity in the stick handle and is supported on this.
  • the elastic element exerts a force on the holding element and, via this, on the connecting element. Consequently, the mechanical holding force acting on the connecting element is defined via the elastic element.
  • the connecting element comprises a first magnetic element and the holding device comprises a second magnetic element which exerts a force of attraction on the first magnetic element.
  • this attraction counteracts a displacement of the connecting element against the direction of insertion and in the direction of removal.
  • the first and the second magnetic element also bring about a holding force on the connecting element, which can be defined as desired by appropriate design of the magnetic elements.
  • the holding device can comprise the holding element and the second magnet element as an alternative to one another or else in combination with one another. If only one of the holding element and the second magnetic element is provided, the holding force must be dimensioned to be correspondingly high. This has the disadvantage that with a correspondingly dimensioned holding element, increased forces are opposed, above all, to the insertion of the connecting element into the pole grip. If only the second magnetic element is used, correspondingly high forces stand in the way of removing the connecting element. Preferably, therefore, both the holding element and the first and second magnetic element are to be provided, which together bring about a sufficiently high holding force on the connecting element. Due to the distribution of the forces on the holding element and the magnetic elements, however, smaller forces counteract the insertion and removal of the connecting element. It goes without saying that the holding device can have any number of appropriately designed holding mechanisms, depending on the application and requirements.
  • the pole grip preferably comprises at least one securing means which essentially fixes the connecting element in the securing position in the removal direction, wherein the securing means is preferably designed as a projection.
  • the securing means is preferably formed integrally with the pole grip. This ensures that the connecting element is reliably secured against displacement in the removal direction in the securing position.
  • the connecting element preferably has a section which is adjacent to the at least one securing means in the securing position and is released by the at least one securing means in the release position. Consequently, that section of the connecting element which is adjacent to the securing means in the securing position can bypass the securing means in the release position, so that it is possible to remove the connecting element from the pole grip.
  • the pole grip arrangement has a first opening for inserting the connecting element in the insertion direction and a second opening for removing the connecting element in the removal direction. This provides a stick grip in which the connecting element as described above can be easily inserted and easily removed.
  • the securing means extends partially into the second opening.
  • the securing means extends into the second opening in such a way that it defines a section of the connecting element in the removal direction, which, however, can bypass the securing means in the release position.
  • the securing means prevents the connecting element from being displaced in the second opening in the removal direction.
  • part of the second opening is left open, so that in the release position it is possible to move the connecting element in the removal direction.
  • the second opening extends through the entire stick handle in the removal direction, so that in the release position the connecting element can be displaced in and counter to the removal direction and can be removed from the stick handle.
  • the stick grip comprises a first and a second securing means, which fix the connecting element in the securing position in and counter to the removal direction. This ensures that the user - at will - the connecting element can be taken from the stick handle to the left or to the right, which further increases the ease of use.
  • the first opening is particularly preferably arranged in the pole grip in such a way that the connecting element is in the securing position during use of the pole grip arrangement.
  • This is achieved in that the first opening is arranged at a level of the stick grip at which an upper end of the first opening is at the level of the connection between the user's thumb and forefinger.
  • the connecting element is in the securing position when the user's hand encloses the stick handle, as is customary in normal use of the respective stick. This offers the advantage that while the pole or the pole grip arrangement is in use, it is not possible for the hand strap to become detached from the pole grip.
  • the hand strap is connected to the connecting element in such a way that it can be displaced relative to the connecting element or that it is essentially fixed relative to the connecting element.
  • This allows the pole grip arrangement according to the invention to be used both with hand straps that form a simple loop for the user's hand to pass through and with hand straps that are ergonomically adapted to the user's hand and are not easily removed from the hand or glove are to be solved.
  • FIG. 1 shows part of a pole grip arrangement 1 according to the invention with a pole grip 4, which has an upper side 4a, an underside 4b, a front side 4c, a rear side 4d and a longitudinal axis L.
  • a pole grip 4 On the underside 4b of the stick handle 4 there is an opening 6 which extends parallel to the longitudinal axis L into the stick handle 4 and serves to receive an upper end of a stick.
  • a first opening 8 and a second opening 10 are formed in the pole grip 4 .
  • the first opening 8 preferably extends from the rear side 4d of the stick grip 4 in an insertion direction X into the stick grip.
  • the second opening 10 preferably extends counter to a removal direction Y into the pole grip.
  • the removal direction Y is essentially aligned transversely to the insertion direction X, and both the insertion direction X and the removal direction Y are each aligned transversely to the longitudinal axis L of the stick handle 4 .
  • a connecting element 12 is accommodated in the pole grip 4 .

  • the connecting section 14 extends out of the pole grip 4 when the connecting element 12 is in the inserted state. Outside of the pole grip 4, the connecting section 14 forms a means for attaching a hand strap (not shown).
  • the connecting section 14 is designed, for example, in the shape of a ring or a bow, so that a section of the hand strap can be passed through the connecting section 14 or can be attached to it.
  • the holding portion 16 is received in the pole grip 4 and is engaged with corresponding means provided therein, as explained with reference to the following drawings. It's already over 1 it can be seen that the connecting element 12 in Insertion direction X can be inserted into the first opening 8 of the stick handle 4 and can be removed from the second opening 10 perpendicular to the insertion direction X and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis L of the stick handle 4 in the removal direction Y.

  • the securing means 18 can also form a lateral delimitation of the first opening 8 .
  • the securing means 18 is preferably designed in such a way that it fixes the connecting element 12 essentially axially at least in the removal direction Y in a securing position.
