- Fig. 4 schematically shows the approach of square bales 3 of different sizes along the transport device 4 to the winding shaft 11. Because of the different width of the square bales 3, a sufficient width of the conveyor belt 5 must be ensured.
- the off-center finger elements 13 on the winding shaft 11 make it easier to grasp the strapping wires 2 on such square bales 3, in particular if they have been placed on the conveyor belt 5 in an inclined position relative to the conveying direction.
