Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a household dishwasher, a system with a household dishwasher and a server, and a method for operating a household dishwasher.
  • Conventional domestic dishwashers have, for example, a display that shows an error code when the dishwasher detects a problem.
  • error codes there are, for example, instructions for solving the problem in the manual for the dishwasher, which a user of the dishwasher can carry out himself.
  • some problems are more complex and call for customer service. It also happens that the cleaning performance of the dishwasher is degraded without the dishwasher recognizing a problem. In this case, too, the user contacts customer service, for example, so that they solve the problem.
  • customer service will in particular come to the user's home in order to be able to inspect the dishwasher and, for example, carry out various tests.
  • This is time consuming, cumbersome and expensive.
  • the user must be home at the appointment to give customer service access to the dishwasher.
  • a problem cannot be solved immediately because, for example, special spare parts are required for it. For example, this may result in customer service having to come back at a later time, which may result in further delay and additional costs.
  • the WO 2009/138359 describes a household appliance with an image capture device with which an image of an interior of the household appliance can be captured, which image can be made available to a user on a display on the outside of the household appliance.
  • the DE 10 2011 087274 describes a domestic appliance for the treatment of an item to be treated, the domestic appliance having a controller for carrying out all the necessary treatment steps to achieve the intended treatment success in relation to the item to be treated.
  • the items to be treated are introduced into the household appliance, information about the items to be treated can be read into the control of the household appliance via an input control part.
  • the item to be treated is recognized as such by the input control part, based on its type and condition; the control of the household appliance has a basic control part and a computer-like supplementary control part, with the proviso that the control with its control parts causes the necessary treatment steps to be carried out automatically with regard to the recognized items to be treated.
  • a household dishwasher is proposed with a control device for controlling an activatable unit arranged in a washing chamber, a communication unit for bidirectional communication with a remote server and an optical sensor for detecting an optical sensor signal of the washing chamber.
