Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Herstellen einer Dichtung für ein Fenster oder eine Tür und zum Montieren der Dichtung an dem Fenster oder der Tür.The invention relates to a method for producing a seal for a window or a door and for mounting the seal on the window or the door.

Dies bewirkt, dass auch die Oberfläche der Dichtung in diesen Bereichen, also mindestens im Bereich der Dichtfläche, korrespondierend eine sehr geringe Rauigkeit aufweist, so das dauerhaft eine sehr gute Dichtigkeit im Bereich der Dichtfläche erreicht wird, die im Wesentlichen auch nach vielfachem Öffnen und Schließen erhalten bleibt. Claims (5)
- Method for producing a seal for a window or a door with a door/window frame and a sash frame and for mounting the seal on the window or door, having the following steps in succession:step A: thermoplastic extrusion of the seal (20) with a foot region (21) and a seal body, in particular configured as a tube region (22), which comprises at least one sealing face (23), from at least one thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) which is provided, wherein directly upon extrusion of the seal on the at least one thermoplastic elastomer at least one film (26) is applied, at least in the region of the sealing face (23), to the seal (20) which is forming;step B: removing, in particular pulling off, the film (26) from the sealing face (23); andstep C: mounting the seal (20) on the door/window frame (200) or the sash frame (300) of the window or door.
- Method according to claim 1, characterised in that the mounting of the seal (20) takes place at a point where it serves as a stop seal between the elements door/window frame (200) and sash frame (300) which are movable relative to each other.
- Method according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the thermoplastic elastomer for extruding the seal in step A), at least in the region of the sealing face (23), is processed to form a foam.
- Method according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a polypropylene film is used as the film (26).
- Method according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that upon the thermoplastic extrusion of step A) at least one region made of non-foamed material is formed on the seal, in particular a corner region (25) for lying on a window profile or door profile.
