It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a seal referred to in the preamble of
This object is achieved by the features of
The solution according to the invention has the advantage that, as a result of the arrangement of a plurality of contact surfaces, which are seen in the cross-section of the seal as part of a polygon with a plurality of flat outer surfaces serving as a contact surface, so that an almost semicircular course is created, a plurality of angular positions are possible. in which a liquid-tight connection between the respective elements can be ensured by a flat contact of the seals. Because only a single seal is required for all of these different angles, the cost of stocking and warehousing can be reduced. In addition, can be significantly reduced by the inventive design, the number of required spare parts.
According to an advantageous development, the seal is seen in cross-section as part of a preferably regular polygon. By this measure, a technically and visually appealing and functionally reliable design of the seal can be achieved in a particularly simple manner. In principle, however, it is also possible to form the seal as an irregular polygon.
So that a certain cohesion of the two abutting seals is ensured, the seal is provided according to an advantageous development with a magnetic insert.
This magnetic insert has outwardly facing magnetic surfaces, the number of which according to a preferred embodiment coincides with the number of planar outer surfaces. According to an alternative embodiment, the magnet insert has outwardly facing magnetic surfaces whose number is different from the number of planar outer surfaces. Thus, an optimal adaptation to the particular conditions can be achieved under all conditions of use and a particularly secure and firm cohesion of the seal can be achieved.
So that at z. B. assembly-related inaccuracies or tolerances a liquid-tight cohesion and a full-surface conditioning of the seals is ensured, the seal is preferably via a movable part with the element, for. B. the glass, connected. Thus tolerances can be safely compensated and still a functionally reliable cohesion of the seal can be ensured.
The design of the movable part is preferably such that the movable part has a soft area which is connected to a hard area. In this way, a full-surface investment of the respective outer surfaces even under unfavorable conditions, eg. As assembly-related inaccuracies are ensured.
The hard area is used according to a preferred development for connection, in particular with an end face of the element, for. B. the glass. Thus, a secure storage or connection of the seal with the element is possible without the function is impaired.
To connect to the element, e.g. As the glass, to make even safer, can be provided according to a preferred development that the hard area has a pioneer of the seal flap, which in an incision in the element, for. B. the glass, engages.
According to an alternative embodiment, the soft region can also pass over a material weakening, which is preferably formed by thin arms, into the hard region. This embodiment is structurally simpler and can be easily produced by the customary in the injection molding technique hard-soft technique. In a further embodiment, the area in front of the magnetic insert can be dispensed with altogether, so that the opposing magnets directly adjoin one another. This would mean the lowest magnetic air gap and cause a very good adhesion of the seals with each other. To protect the magnetic strips, however, these can also be coated with a thin protective film.
In a further embodiment, the magnetic strips can be enclosed by a medium at the closing edges, which has a viscosity such that when the magnetic strips meet, this medium is pushed aside. As a result, the magnetic air gap between the adjacent seals is again reduced, which increases the holding forces and at the same time reaches a higher density of the parts to be closed by the squeezing to the side of the seal.
