Definitions

  • the invention relates to a folding box with a tamper-evident closure and a closure or reclosure that cannot be opened by children, with four walls, a base and a lid.
  • EP2808265A1 describes a folding box with a base, side walls and a top wall, whereby the walls at least partially overlap and are provided with a tear strip or the like, and whereby one of the walls can be detached on one side and remains connected to the rest of the packaging in an articulated manner.
  • the articulated wall is only released when the locking means provided are specifically activated.
  • EP0443930A1 describes a resealable folding box with a base, side walls and a top wall, the protruding edges of the top wall having two opposite openings which enable the separation of two interlocking tabs.
  • US2017036808A1 discloses a package consisting of two parts.
  • An enclosing part contains locking slots into which the locking tabs of a tray fit. This arrangement requires a user to squeeze all available locking tabs before the package can be opened.
  • US2006255113 A1 discloses a package having an external opening in the outer top panel which is closed by means of a sliding closure tab.
  • WO2017216662A1 discloses a package with a closure system that includes tabs that engage in a free edge of a through-opening.
  • no folding box has been made available that provides sufficient child safety, for example for packaging of detergent pods or the like. It has not been possible to ensure that the package can only be opened by adults and not by children when it is opened for the first time or when it is opened repeatedly.
  • the invention is based on the object of proposing a folding box which meets such requirements.
  • Both locking devices must be unlocked with two hands, so that very good protection is achieved against accidental opening of the packaging, for example by children.
  • the cover flap must be unlocked by pressing in a designated area on the lid wall and then pulled out at the front edge.
  • the lid must be unlocked and pulled upwards at the same time.
  • the locking device is formed by two locking strips or locking tabs, one of which is arranged on the respective wall and the other on the corresponding wall attachment of the lid or on the cover flap.
  • a further very advantageous embodiment of the invention is provided when a locking device is provided on two opposite walls.
  • the lid together with its wall extensions is provided within the walls.
  • the locking device is formed by a locking strip on the inside of the respective wall and a locking tab or a locking strip on the outside of the respective wall extension.
  • the locking strip on the inside of the wall provides additional stiffening and prevents it from bending outwards.
  • the locking tab or the locking strip on the wall attachment of the lid hooks securely here.
  • the locking strip and/or the locking tabs are formed by folding the respective material of the wall or the wall extension and/or that several material layers are provided one above the other, wherein a locking mechanism is provided between at least two material layers and at least one material layer has a locking tab which is formed by folding the respective material.
  • the lid is hinged to a wall or a lid surface via a fold line, whereby the lid can also be hinged by means of a wall attachment glued to the wall.
  • the respective wall in the region of the locking device has a removable and/or press-in part, which can be designed to be inclined in the folding direction of the lid.
  • the removable and/or pressable part represents an authenticity guarantee. Only when the removable part has actually been removed or the pressable part has actually been pressed in for the first time can the locking device be activated and the lid opened. By inclining the removable or pressable part in the opening direction, i.e. in the direction of the fold line over which the lid is hinged to the body of the folding box, it can be ensured that the lid slides cleanly back to its original position when it is closed again. Undesirable snagging is avoided.
  • the detachable or pressable part is limited by a perforation, scoring or other line of weakness.
  • edge facing away from the hinge line of the lid or the wall attachment there is designed to be oblique or rounded.
  • Such an inner box can be used to create a compartment that ensures that a channel is available for the side wall sections of the lid to be inserted. The contents are also protected.
  • the inner carton is designed as a sleeve, which is only provided in the area of the walls of the folding box.
  • the inner carton has walls and a bottom and can have a lid.
  • the inner cardboard is equipped on its inside with a resistance layer, in particular against liquids, wherein the resistance layer can be designed as a varnish application, coating, impregnation or lamination.
  • the inner carton is designed to be liquid-tight at least with regard to the walls and bottom.
  • the inner carton and the folding box are made in one piece or in several pieces.
  • the same material is used for the inner box and the folding box.
  • different materials can be used. For example, it is conceivable that a grey cardboard is used for the inner box, whereas a cardboard with a high-quality outer surface that is easy to print on is used for the folding box.
  • folding lines are formed at least in sections as double folding lines or wider folding lines or are replaced at least in sections by scoring or cutting lines.
  • a side wall 5 or 6 is hinged to a front wall 2 via a folding line 3 or 4.
  • a rear wall 8 is hinged to the side wall 6 via a folding line 7.
  • Bottom wall flaps 10 and 11 are hinged to the lower edges of the front wall 2, the side walls 5 and 6 and the rear wall 8 via folding lines 9, which together form the bottom of the folding box.
  • An inner cardboard box of the folding box is hinged to the side wall 5 via a fold line 12, having a rear wall 13, a side wall 14, a front wall 15, a second side wall 16 and a connecting tab 17.
  • the walls are each connected to one another via fold lines 18.
  • Spacers 19 are formed on the front wall 15, the material of which comes from the side walls 14 and 16.
  • a locking strip 21 and 22 is hinged to the upper edge of the side wall 5 via a folding line 20, which are folded inwards when the folding box is erected and are possibly glued to the wall there. Between the locking strip 21 and the locking strip 22 there is a detachable part 23, which is formed by a perforation line 24 in the side wall.
  • a locking strip 21 and 22 is hinged to the upper edge of the side wall 6 via a folding line 20, which are folded inwards when the folding box is erected and are possibly glued to the wall there.
  • a detachable part 23 is provided between the locking strip 21 and the locking strip 22, which is formed by a perforation line 24 in the side wall.
  • a reinforcing strip 26 is hinged to the upper edge of the front wall 2 via a folding line 25, which is also folded inwards and glued in place, just like the locking strips 21 and 22.
  • a lid 28 is hinged to the upper edge of the rear wall 8 via a fold line 27, which is provided on its sides with wall sections 30 via fold lines 29, to which two locking tabs 32 and 33 are hinged via a fold line 31.
  • a further wall section 35 is hinged to the front edge of the lid 28 via a fold line 34.
  • Additional adhesive tabs 36 are arranged on the wall sections 31 and are glued to the wall section 35. The adhesive tabs 36 are slightly inclined so that the wall section 35 on the front edge of the lid 28 runs slightly downwards and inwards. This ensures that the lid 28 can be inserted more easily into the body of the packaging when it is resealed and slides behind the wall 2.
  • the wall sections 30 point downwards and lie within the side walls 5 and 6.
  • the locking tabs 32 and 33 are folded outwards and engage under the locking strips 21 and 22.
  • the locking tab 33 is smaller in size than the locking tab 32 so that it can be bent over with some force and does not have to be deliberately unlocked like the locking tab 32.
  • the detachable parts 23 must first be removed.
  • the fingers of one hand can be placed into the opening defined by the perforation 24 and the locking tabs 32 can be slightly pressed together at the same time so that they slip out from under the locking strips 21 and 22.
  • the lid can be pulled upwards and the packaging opened.
  • the locking tabs 33 are overcome.
  • the locking tabs 33 are bent over when the packaging is opened and can snap back and lock themselves when the packaging is closed again.
  • the width of the packaging should be such that an adult can press in the two locking tabs 32 with one hand at the same time, but not a child.
  • the removable parts 23 can additionally be provided with an adhesive point towards the wall sections 30 of the lid 28, so that this provides additional transport security.
  • the inner carton is located inside the folding box and holds the contents.
  • the cardboard material is coated on one or both sides or provided with a resistance layer. Printing can be provided.
  • the folding box is made up of several parts, contrary to the embodiment shown.
  • the inner box can then be manufactured separately. Different materials can also be used for the inner cardboard and folding box.
  • the inner carton can also have a base and possibly even a lid for maximum separation of the contents.
  • a channel is formed between the inner carton and the folding box into which the wall sections 30 and 35 of the lid 28 can slide.
  • the inner carton can be designed as a separate blank, as shown in Fig. 6. This consists of the side walls 413, 414, 415 and 416, which are hinged to one another one after the other via folding lines 418. In addition, an adhesive tab 417 is provided with which the side walls can be connected to form a sleeve.
  • Spacers 419 are formed on the side wall 415, which ensure precise alignment of the inner cartons in the folding box.
  • Closure flaps 420 are hinged to the lower edges of the side walls 413, 414, 415 and 416, which together form a base.
  • cover flaps which ensure that the contents are held in the inner carton in the cover area of the folding box and do not come into contact with the folding box.
  • this is a single cover flap that covers the opening area of the sleeve.
  • the inner box usually does not have to meet any special visual requirements, so a simple grey cardboard or corrugated cardboard is often sufficient.
  • the inner carton is designed accordingly, it is designed to be liquid-tight, at least in the base area, so that even contents that have leaked out cannot penetrate the folding box.
  • a second variant of the folding box according to the invention is Fig.2 shown.
