Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a device for guiding a nonwoven web in a web forming unit of a card.
  • the card produces a card sliver from the fiber material fed in, which is then processed into a yarn.
  • a feed chute is usually assigned to a card, which is supplied with fibers from a blow room by a conveyor system.
  • the fibers are cleaned and parallelized by the card. To do this, the fibers are fed over a card drum.
  • the fibers are removed from the card drum by a doffer in the form of a fiber fleece and fed to a sliver forming unit.
  • the pick-up essentially consists of a pick-up roller, a transfer roller and a pair of output rollers.
  • the fiber fleece extends over the entire working width of the card. In the sliver-forming unit, the fiber fleece is brought together to form a card sliver.
  • the fiber fleece After leaving the pair of output rollers, the fiber fleece encounters a fiber fleece guide element which causes the fiber fleece to be conveyed in the axial direction of the output roller pair. As a result, the fibers of the fiber fleece are brought together to form a fleece band.
  • a fiber fleece guide element For cards with a larger working width, for example, two cross-belts working together in opposite directions are used as the fiber fleece guide element.
  • the fleece band arrives via various guides and funnels to a pair of pressure rollers, which finalize the card sliver.
  • a device for guiding a fleece band in a band-forming unit of a card according to the EP 3 153 607 A1 known.
  • the fleece coming from the customer is brought together by a fleece guide element to form a fleece belt and fed to a pre-compression ring.
  • the fleece tape is then fed to a first and a subsequent second insertion device, the second insertion device being provided with a compressed air supply.
  • the first insertion device protrudes into the second insertion device.
  • With the compressed air an air flow with a swirl is generated in the space between the first insertion device and the second insertion device in such a way that in the As a result, a vacuum is created in the first insertion device. This negative pressure pulls the fleece band through the first insertion device.
  • the fleece strip arrives at a pair of nip rollers which shape the fleece strip into a card sliver.
  • the single-stage compression of the fleece belt is a disadvantage here. At high belt speeds, this leads to the fleece belt building up in front of the end funnel. Air is pressed out of the fleece strip in one fell swoop, which causes fibers or parts of the fleece strip to be spliced off.
  • the air contained in the fleece belt in front of the first insertion device causes the fleece belt to expand in places without tight guidance (for example between the pre-compression ring and the first insertion device) and, on the other hand, a high force is necessary to move the fleece belt without active conveyance through a conically tapering one Guide such as the supercharger ring or the first introducer to suck.
  • a conically tapering one Guide such as the supercharger ring or the first introducer to suck.
  • the air contained in the fleece belt must either be able to escape or be compressed accordingly, which is not guaranteed by the disclosed design of the fleece belt guide.
  • the EP 0 298 507 A2 a device for the automatic merging of a textile fiber fleece to form a sliver.
  • the fiber fleece is brought together via a funnel trough to form a fleece belt and transferred into a funnel-shaped transport channel.
  • At the end of this transport channel there is an annular gap nozzle which generates a concentric flow in the direction of transport.
  • the fleece strip arrives in a mouthpiece channel at the outlet of which a further annular gap nozzle is attached.
  • the nonwoven ribbon passes through another mouthpiece channel to a pair of calender rollers, where it is formed into a fiber ribbon.
  • a twisting flow in the first annular gap nozzle is intended to bring about a tapering of the fleece strip when it is threaded in when the device is restarted.
  • a disadvantage of the proposed band-forming unit is that when the nonwoven band hits the calender rolls, it accumulates at the nipping point of the calender rolls, which leads to blockages. It is also disadvantageous that the fleece belt is guided through a large number of transport channels, annular gap nozzles and mouthpiece channels, since each transition from one channel piece to one can lead to buildup, fiber build-up and flow disturbance.
  • the DE 101 45 733 A1 also discloses a sliver forming unit for forming a sliver in a card.
  • the fleece belt is fed through a pile funnel to a pair of calender rollers.
  • One of the two calender rolls is resiliently mounted.
  • a force on the nonwoven strip at the nip point of the pair of calender rollers can be adjusted to the fiber material to be processed.
  • the device provided also enables the possibility of a distance between the calender rolls.
  • the disadvantage here is that a pre-setting of the distance between the calender rolls during start-up does not prevent the fibers from thawing before the nipping point. At a high production speed, the fibers begin to accumulate in front of the nipping point before they can be picked up by the pair of calender rollers.
  • the object of the present invention is thus to create a device for guiding a nonwoven band in a band-forming unit of a card, which ensures trouble-free guidance of the nonwoven band and prevents the fleece band from damming up or evading from the guide.
  • Another object of the invention is to simplify threading of the nonwoven tape into the tape-forming unit.
  • the object is achieved by a device with the features of the independent patent claim as well as by a sliver-forming unit or a card, which comprise such a device.
  • a device for guiding a nonwoven web for a sliver forming unit of a card with a guiding funnel, with a double-walled end funnel and with a pair of pressure rollers consisting of an upper pressure roller and a lower pressure roller, a distance between the upper pressure roller and the lower pressure roller being adjustable.
  • the adjustment of the distance can be driven pneumatically or via a lever mechanism. This adjustment option is helpful in a threading process.
  • the distance between the pressure rollers can be reset to the desired value, while the pressure rollers move towards the fleece strip already located between them.
  • the fleece tape is guided through the nipping point of the pressure rollers without any resistance, which means that there is no risk of the fleece tape building up.
  • an adjustment or regulation of the force with which the pressure rollers are pressed against one another can be provided.
  • the design of the end funnel as a double-walled cone means that additional elements for introducing conveying air, such as annular gap nozzles, can be dispensed with.
  • the introduction of air through a double-walled funnel also causes suction and transport of the fleece belt without the flow air being applied directly to the fleece belt, as is the case with a conveyor nozzle.
  • the guide funnel is arranged in front of the end funnel and the end funnel in front of the pair of pressure rollers.
  • the end funnel has a compressed air supply.
  • a pre-funnel is provided between the guide funnel and the end funnel.
  • the arrangement of the pre-funnel between the guide funnel and the end funnel makes it possible to provide a finer gradation of the conicity of the individual funnels or guide elements.
  • the difference between the cross-sections at the inlet and the outlet of a guide element, for example the pre-funnel or the guide funnel, can be made smaller.
  • the inlet cross-section of the end funnel can also be selected to be smaller, so that in the end funnel less compression of the fleece strip has to take place in its guidance up to the pair of pressure rollers.
  • Some of the air contained in the fleece belt can also escape between the individual guide elements, which means that less compression is necessary in the following guide element.
  • the discharging air can be disposed of by active suction in the area of the guide elements.
  • the pre-funnel is advantageously provided with a compressed air supply and is double-walled. This makes it possible to support the guidance of the fleece belt with active promotion. This is useful for a threading process at the beginning of production or when resuming an interrupted production.
  • the run of the fleece tape is supported by the guide elements with the aid of the compressed air.
  • the compressed air is fed into the cavity of the double-walled pre-funnel and brought into this cavity in the direction of movement of the fleece belt, where the compressed air exits through an annular gap in the conveying direction.
  • the fleece tape is compressed by the outflowing compressed air and moved from the pre-funnel towards the end funnel and, on the other hand, there is suction in the pre-funnel, which sucks the fleece tape from the upstream guide funnel.
  • a control of the compressed air connection of the pre-funnel is advantageously coupled with the adjustment of the distance between the upper pressure roller and the lower pressure roller.
  • a coupling with the compressed air connection of the end funnel is particularly preferred. In this way, the control has the option of coordinating optimal conditions and active conveyance of the web sliver in the event of malfunctions in the web guide or when the card starts up.
  • the compressed air supply to the pre-funnel is preferably open in a start-up mode.
  • the incoming fleece strip must be conveyed through the guide elements.
  • the active promotion of the pressure roller pair is missing until the point in time when the fleece tape actually reaches the pressure roller pair.
  • the compressed air supply on the pre-funnel is opened for a certain period of time, which supports the fleece belt on its way to the pair of pressure rollers.
  • the threading process is triggered by a manual command to the control.
  • the pressure rollers are preferably adjusted to a maximum distance during at least a first part of the time the air supply to the pre-funnel is opened. As soon as the end of the fleece tape through the pre-funnel and the subsequent End funnel is promoted, this can happen unhindered due to the adjustment of the distance between the pressure roller pair. Only when the end of the nonwoven strip has left the pair of pressure rollers behind, the pressure rollers are brought together again and the distance determined for production is set.
  • a sliver forming unit for a card with a device for guiding a fleece ribbon as described above wherein the ribbon forming unit is provided with two transverse belts for bringing together the fiber fleece.
  • the use of moving transverse belts has the advantage over static fleece guide elements that there is no friction between the guide element and the fibers to be moved. A merging of wide fiber webs in high-performance cards is more gentle on the fibers through the use of transverse belts.
  • fleece belt guides are provided between the transverse belts.
  • the fleece belt leaving the transverse belts is delimited on all sides by the fleece belt guide as a further guide element and introduced into the guide funnel with a predetermined cross section.
  • a card with a sliver-forming unit is also proposed, two transverse belts and a device for guiding the fleece belt being provided in the sliver-forming unit.
  • Figure 1 shows a card 1 equipped with a feed chute 2, a feed chute 5 and a feed channel 3. After they have passed through the various process stages of a blow room, fiber flocks 4 arrive in the feed chute 2.
  • the fiber flocks 4 are fed through the feed chute 5, comprising a feed roller 6 and an opening roller 7 and an air supply 8, passed on to the feed channel 3.
  • an air supply 8 is provided to support the transfer of flakes to the feed channel 3 and to ensure lap compaction upstream of a feed device 10 of the card 1.
  • the air supply 8 blows air tangentially along the opening roller 7 into the feed channel 3 and thereby compresses the fiber flocks into a wad with a high wad weight necessary for further processing in the card 1.
  • a feed device 10 following the feed channel 3 feeds the fiber flocks, now in the form of a homogeneous wadding 11, to the licker-in module 12 of the card 1.
  • the fiber flocks released by the feed device 10 from the lap mat 11 are opened further by the lickerins contained in the lickerin module 12 and at the same time freed from some of the impurities contained therein.
  • the last lickerin of the lickerin module 12 finally transfers the fibers to the card drum 13, which completely dissolves and parallelizes the fibers.
  • the card drum 13 works together with the cover assembly 14 for this purpose.
  • the fibers After the fibers have in some cases made several revolutions on the card drum 13, they are removed from the card drum 13 by a removal unit 15 in the form of a fiber fleece 17 and fed to a sliver formation unit 16 with a pair of output rollers 9.
  • the sliver forming unit 16 transforms the fiber fleece 17 formed by the card drum 13 into a card sliver 19.
  • the card sliver 19 is then placed in a can for further transport (not shown).
  • FIG Figure 2 shows a schematic side view of a band forming unit 16 with a device according to the invention and Figure 3 a schematic plan view in direction X of the band forming unit 16 according to FIG Figure 2 .
  • the fiber fleece 17 arriving in the band forming unit 16 in the direction of movement 23 is picked up by a pair of output rollers 9 and passed on to cross bands 20 arranged in pairs.
  • the fiber fleece 17 is combined in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the output roller pair 9 to form a fleece belt 18.
  • the fiber fleece 17 is guided transversely to its direction of movement 23 in the pair of output rollers 9 between the two transverse belts 20.
  • the transverse belts 20 can be provided with limiting profiles 22 on their surfaces.
  • fleece belt guides 21 are shown by way of example.
  • the fleece belt guide 21 can be dispensed with.
  • the guide funnel 24 serves to reduce the size of the fleece strip 18 and to pass it on to the pre-funnel 25.
  • the pre-funnel 25 is provided with a compressed air supply 30.
  • the pre-funnel 25 is double-walled so that the compressed air supplied in the pre-funnel 25, seen in the direction of movement of the fleece belt 18, is brought to the end of the pre-funnel 25 and exits over its cross-section. This creates a suction in the pre-funnel 25 which supports the fleece belt 18 in its movement.
  • the fleece strip 18 passes into an end funnel 26 and then into a pair of pressure rollers consisting of an upper pressure roller 27 and a lower pressure roller 28.
  • the pair of pressure rollers forms the fleece band 18 into a card sliver 19.
  • Another function of the pair of pressure rollers is to pull the fleece tape 18 through the funnels 24, 25 and 26.
  • the end funnel 26 is provided with a compressed air supply 31.
  • the end funnel 26 is double-walled, so that the compressed air supplied in the end funnel 26, as seen in the direction of movement of the fleece belt 18, is brought to the end of the end funnel 26 and exits distributed over its cross section.
  • the air duct in the end funnel 26 is advantageously designed in such a way that the air flowing through is provided with a swirl.
  • a suction arises in the pre-funnel 25 on the one hand, which supports the movement of the fleece strip 18 and, on the other hand, the twist ensures that the fleece strip 18 is slightly twisted and thus becomes more compact.
  • the end funnel 26 can, as shown, be extended by a cylindrical extension between the upper and lower pressure rollers 27 and 28, so that the fleece tape 18 is guided as close as possible to the nipping point of the pressure roller pair.
