Definitions
- the invention relates to an attachment shell arrangement for a composite window, which has a pole frame, wherein the attachment shell arrangement has an attachment shell, which covers a spar of the pole frame in the assembled state and preferably consists of aluminum. Furthermore, the invention relates to a composite window according to the preamble of claim 12.
- composite windows In construction, building openings are increasingly closed by so-called composite windows. Under composite window is usually understood wood-aluminum windows, but also plastic-aluminum windows or the like. These systems with an outer shell made of a metal profile are particularly weather-resistant and therefore durable.
- the guides for such protective devices have in cross-section on an approximately U-shaped guide channel, which is open to the side so that both sides of the window assembly positioned guide devices assign each other and record the protective device form-fitting between them.
- the curtain can then only be moved in the vertical direction, the guide channels are open at the top and there open into the winding in the lintel area.
- Such guide devices are offered and provided separately from the window arrangement as a guide rail and in order to ensure the greatest possible freedom with regard to the design options for the components.
- a guide or attachment rail is for example from the DE 199 46 405 A1 known.
- this has proven to be disadvantageous in practice, since the guide means on the one hand and the window assembly on the other hand are provided separately from each other, coordinated and must be processed separately on the site. The assembly effort is thus quite significant.
- guide or intent rails are often perceived as visually disturbing, since they are perceived as a foreign body on the floor frame.
- an attachment shell arrangement having the features of claim 1.
- This is characterized in particular by the fact that it has an integrated guide rail for a raised and lowered curtain such as a roller shutter, a Venetian blind or the like.
- the present invention is thus based on the finding that it is advantageous if the guide rails and the attachment shells for the composite window are no longer viewed separately from each other, but as a unit.
- these components can be particularly advantageous to each other, which simplifies their handling and installation. This applies both for the provision of the components of the intent shell arrangement according to the invention and for their attachment to the floor frame of the composite window.
- the guide rail and the attachment shell can be offered and delivered as a package. They are coordinated, which speeds up the assembly of the arrangement, which is also very advantageous in terms of processing costs.
- the invention thus takes complete departure from previous systems and thus facilitates and reduces the provision and installation of protective devices or the like for building openings.
- the guide rail is formed integrally with the attachment shell.
- Such a construction reduces the installation effort to a very considerable extent, since so only one element is to handle.
- the guide rail is thus mounted in one go.
- this variant is particularly inexpensive to provide.
- the arrangement by the one-piece design can be configured in a simple manner dense, i. There are also no sealing problems between elements to be combined. The entire structure is so easy to deploy.
- the guide rail is connected by a latching connection with the attachment shell. Even with the multi-part design of the components, it is thus possible to produce a simple and quick installation by means of the latching connection. This variant is therefore also characterized by advantageous handling with few components. At the same time, it is also inexpensive to provide.
- this locking connection can be realized with particularly simple means and without additional components.
- the entire system structure is thus simple and yet he created a reliable and permanent connection between the elements.
- a plurality of mutually offset locking elements are arranged on the attachment shell on the side facing the guide rail, to which the at least one detent element on the guide rail can optionally be fixed. Then there is the possibility of variably adapting the system to the local conditions and, for example, selectively selecting the clear width between two guide profiles by selecting suitable blocking elements.
- the front shell can therefore be used for differently sized window assemblies or record differently defined protection systems or hangings. This can reduce the variety of variants of the components and thus simplify the provision of such attachment shells.
- At least one latching element is arranged on the attachment shell on the side facing the guide rail, which locking element is fixed to the guide rail in at least one blocking element which is suitably positioned for this purpose.
- the assignment of locking element and locking element on the components facing shell and guide rail can also be chosen the other way around, which is advantageous in certain applications.
- the system allows even better adaptation to the local conditions or the desired embodiments for such composite window.
- the latching connection is produced by a hook-shaped engagement.
- Such a compound can be produced very quickly with simple means and is characterized by a high reliability and durability.
- the form-fitting thus formed resists external influences such as wind suction loads, burglary attempts or the like to a particularly good extent.
- the locking connection can be made by attaching the guide rail in a direction transverse to a glazing plane. Then the installation can be carried out very easily, since a mounting direction is generally freely accessible transversely to the glazing level. The attachment of the guide rail on the front shell can thus be done in a particularly simple and fast way.
- the latching connection is made by attaching the guide rail in a direction parallel to a glazing plane. Also in this mounting direction a good accessibility is given and it can be a reliable holding connection. Moreover, the overall system is then more reliably protected against external attacks such as wind suction, burglary attempts or the like, since these attack mostly perpendicular to the mounting direction of the guide rail.
- the guide rail is connected by a holder with the attachment shell.
- This variant has the advantage that both the guide rail and the attachment shell can be provided largely unchanged and the holding function is effected only by an additional component, namely the holder.
- This can be formed in a conventional manner, for example, as a rotary holder or Drehklipphalter and thus produces a reliable positive connection of the components.
- such holders are inexpensive to provide that they are mass-produced. Their handling is known in the art and associated with a few simple steps.
- the holder is a latch holder. This facilitates assembly again, since the guide rail then only has to be mounted latching on the front shell and engaged. This can be done very quickly and therefore cost-effectively.
- the holder has a double-sided holding function and engages positively in both the guide rail and in the attachment shell. Then the holding connection on both parts can be very fast and reliable produce. The assembly thus simplifies further, which also has a positive effect on the cost.
- a guide device for an insect protection arrangement is also present on the attachment shell, such an additional protection device can advantageously be integrated into the arrangement. Then both the roller shutter or the like and the insect protection arrangement can be realized in one go with less effort on a system.
- a composite window is provided with a floor frame and with an attachment shell arrangement of the type according to the invention attached to spars of the floor frame, each having an attachment shell covering a spar of the floor frame.
- This composite window is characterized by the fact that at the side of the composite window present attachment shells facing each other guide rails for a raised and lowered curtain such as a shutter, a Venetian blind or the like are arranged.
- the composite window according to the invention thus provides the provision of the facing shells with the guide rails in a system, which is particularly advantageous in terms of handling, the deployment effort, the costs incurred and in particular the assembly effort. Further advantages of the composite window according to the invention have already been explained in detail above with reference to the attachment shell arrangement.
- the intent shell assembly is independently available as an independent component and therefore also available separately from the other components of the composite window on the market. This can serve in particular as a retrofit element or replacement element. For new construction measures, however, it is envisaged to offer the composite window as a whole system in the manner according to the invention.
- guide devices for an insect protection arrangement facing one another can be arranged on the attachment shells which are present on the side of the composite window.
- Such an insect protection device can therefore be performed reliably on the composite window according to the invention. This is possible in addition to the roller shutter or the like, so that such systems can be easily combined with each other on a composite window. The assembly of the composite window thus simplifies even further.
- holding devices for a fall protection can be arranged on the side rails of the floor frame.
- integration of such a stripping device is readily possible on the composite window according to the invention and may be present next to the roller shutter or the like and optionally the insect protection device.
- Such a complete system in turn facilitates assembly and brings a significant reduction in the time and cost.
- FIGS. 1 to 5 a first embodiment of a composite window 1 is shown.
- the figures represent five variants thereof, which differ substantially in the form of the facing shell arrangement and additionally arranged components.
- the FIGS. 1 to 5 in each case show a section through a lateral Stockrahmenholm the composite window. 1

The invention relates to an attachment shell arrangement for a composite window, which has a pole frame, wherein the attachment shell arrangement has an attachment shell, which covers a spar of the pole frame in the assembled state and preferably consists of aluminum. Furthermore, the invention relates to a composite window according to the preamble of claim 12.
In construction, building openings are increasingly closed by so-called composite windows. Under composite window is usually understood wood-aluminum windows, but also plastic-aluminum windows or the like. These systems with an outer shell made of a metal profile are particularly weather-resistant and therefore durable.
In addition, however, such building openings are also closed with shading systems or other protective devices, which are arranged in the area of the building openings. Shutters, external blinds, textile screens or the like are mostly used. In addition to protection against direct sunlight, such systems also provide privacy protection or provide additional insulation against cold in winter. Such hangings are typically guided in lateral guides on the outside of the window assembly and raised to open or lowered to close. In most cases, they are held in the open position on the window assembly in the lintel area in a winding. In addition, there are also systems such as insect screens or the like, which offer additional special protection and are generally operable in the same way.
The guides for such protective devices have in cross-section on an approximately U-shaped guide channel, which is open to the side so that both sides of the window assembly positioned guide devices assign each other and record the protective device form-fitting between them. The curtain can then only be moved in the vertical direction, the guide channels are open at the top and there open into the winding in the lintel area.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide an attachment shell arrangement for a composite window or such a composite window, which allow a simplified and time-saving installation of the system.
According to a first aspect of the present invention, this object is achieved by an attachment shell arrangement having the features of
The present invention is thus based on the finding that it is advantageous if the guide rails and the attachment shells for the composite window are no longer viewed separately from each other, but as a unit.
As a result, these components can be particularly advantageous to each other, which simplifies their handling and installation. This applies both for the provision of the components of the intent shell arrangement according to the invention and for their attachment to the floor frame of the composite window.
The guide rail and the attachment shell can be offered and delivered as a package. They are coordinated, which speeds up the assembly of the arrangement, which is also very advantageous in terms of processing costs.
The invention thus takes complete departure from previous systems and thus facilitates and reduces the provision and installation of protective devices or the like for building openings.
Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen der erfindungsgemäßen Vorsatzschalenanordnung sind Gegenstand der abhängigen Ansprüche 2 bis 11.Advantageous developments of the intent shell arrangement according to the invention are the subject of the
Thus, it is possible that the guide rail is formed integrally with the attachment shell. Such a construction reduces the installation effort to a very considerable extent, since so only one element is to handle. With the attachment of the attachment shells, the guide rail is thus mounted in one go. In addition, this variant is particularly inexpensive to provide. Above all, the arrangement by the one-piece design can be configured in a simple manner dense, i. There are also no sealing problems between elements to be combined. The entire structure is so easy to deploy.
Alternatively, it is also possible that the guide rail is connected by a latching connection with the attachment shell. Even with the multi-part design of the components, it is thus possible to produce a simple and quick installation by means of the latching connection. This variant is therefore also characterized by advantageous handling with few components. At the same time, it is also inexpensive to provide.
If at least one locking element is formed on the facing shell on the side facing the guide rail, to which at least one locking element positioned for this purpose is fixed to the guide rail, this locking connection can be realized with particularly simple means and without additional components. The entire system structure is thus simple and yet he created a reliable and permanent connection between the elements.
It is a further advantage if a plurality of mutually offset locking elements are arranged on the attachment shell on the side facing the guide rail, to which the at least one detent element on the guide rail can optionally be fixed. Then there is the possibility of variably adapting the system to the local conditions and, for example, selectively selecting the clear width between two guide profiles by selecting suitable blocking elements. The front shell can therefore be used for differently sized window assemblies or record differently defined protection systems or hangings. This can reduce the variety of variants of the components and thus simplify the provision of such attachment shells.
On the other hand, it is also possible that at least one latching element is arranged on the attachment shell on the side facing the guide rail, which locking element is fixed to the guide rail in at least one blocking element which is suitably positioned for this purpose. According to this variant, the assignment of locking element and locking element on the components facing shell and guide rail can also be chosen the other way around, which is advantageous in certain applications. Thus, the system allows even better adaptation to the local conditions or the desired embodiments for such composite window.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if the latching connection is produced by a hook-shaped engagement. Such a compound can be produced very quickly with simple means and is characterized by a high reliability and durability. The form-fitting thus formed resists external influences such as wind suction loads, burglary attempts or the like to a particularly good extent.
Furthermore, the locking connection can be made by attaching the guide rail in a direction transverse to a glazing plane. Then the installation can be carried out very easily, since a mounting direction is generally freely accessible transversely to the glazing level. The attachment of the guide rail on the front shell can thus be done in a particularly simple and fast way.
Alternatively, it is also possible that the latching connection is made by attaching the guide rail in a direction parallel to a glazing plane. Also in this mounting direction a good accessibility is given and it can be a reliable holding connection. Moreover, the overall system is then more reliably protected against external attacks such as wind suction, burglary attempts or the like, since these attack mostly perpendicular to the mounting direction of the guide rail.
In a further embodiment, it is possible that the guide rail is connected by a holder with the attachment shell. This variant has the advantage that both the guide rail and the attachment shell can be provided largely unchanged and the holding function is effected only by an additional component, namely the holder. This can be formed in a conventional manner, for example, as a rotary holder or Drehklipphalter and thus produces a reliable positive connection of the components. In addition, such holders are inexpensive to provide that they are mass-produced. Their handling is known in the art and associated with a few simple steps. It is of further advantage if the holder is a latch holder. This facilitates assembly again, since the guide rail then only has to be mounted latching on the front shell and engaged. This can be done very quickly and therefore cost-effectively.
In addition, it is advantageous if the holder has a double-sided holding function and engages positively in both the guide rail and in the attachment shell. Then the holding connection on both parts can be very fast and reliable produce. The assembly thus simplifies further, which also has a positive effect on the cost.
If a guide device for an insect protection arrangement is also present on the attachment shell, such an additional protection device can advantageously be integrated into the arrangement. Then both the roller shutter or the like and the insect protection arrangement can be realized in one go with less effort on a system.
According to a further aspect of the present invention, according to claim 12, a composite window is provided with a floor frame and with an attachment shell arrangement of the type according to the invention attached to spars of the floor frame, each having an attachment shell covering a spar of the floor frame. This composite window is characterized by the fact that at the side of the composite window present attachment shells facing each other guide rails for a raised and lowered curtain such as a shutter, a Venetian blind or the like are arranged.
The composite window according to the invention thus provides the provision of the facing shells with the guide rails in a system, which is particularly advantageous in terms of handling, the deployment effort, the costs incurred and in particular the assembly effort. Further advantages of the composite window according to the invention have already been explained in detail above with reference to the attachment shell arrangement.
It should be added that the intent shell assembly is independently available as an independent component and therefore also available separately from the other components of the composite window on the market. This can serve in particular as a retrofit element or replacement element. For new construction measures, however, it is envisaged to offer the composite window as a whole system in the manner according to the invention.
Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen des erfindungsgemäßen Verbundfensters ergeben sich aus den abhängigen Ansprüchen 13 bis 15.Advantageous developments of the composite window according to the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims 13 to 15.
Thus, guide devices for an insect protection arrangement facing one another can be arranged on the attachment shells which are present on the side of the composite window. Such an insect protection device can therefore be performed reliably on the composite window according to the invention. This is possible in addition to the roller shutter or the like, so that such systems can be easily combined with each other on a composite window. The assembly of the composite window thus simplifies even further.
Further, holding devices for a fall protection can be arranged on the side rails of the floor frame. In this way, integration of such a stripping device is readily possible on the composite window according to the invention and may be present next to the roller shutter or the like and optionally the insect protection device. In other words, it is thus possible to provide a complete system with all these protective devices in one go on the composite window according to the invention. Such a complete system in turn facilitates assembly and brings a significant reduction in the time and cost.
Further advantageous embodiments of the composite window according to the invention will become apparent from the further developments of the intent shell arrangement according to the invention according to the
