Definitions
- the present invention relates to a device for fastening a cover frame to a frame of a window or a door.
- the object of the present invention is therefore to propose a frame arrangement for a building window or a building door which overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art.
- a frame arrangement should be presented, which improves the attachment of a cover frame, in which a fall protection element is integrated, to a frame, and which withstands the increased pressure load caused by a person leaning against the fall protection element despite simple assembly.
- the present invention thus relates to a frame arrangement for a building window or a building door, having a frame which is preferably arranged on the room side of the cover frame.
- the frame is composed of individual frame profiles and designed to run around the circumference. When placed next to one another, the individual frame profiles extend in the circumferential direction of the frame arrangement or in the circumferential direction of the window frame.
- the frame is preferably made of wood, but can alternatively also be composed of metal or plastic profiles. Each frame profile has its own profile longitudinal axis.
- the window frame is preferably already assembled or prefabricated from the individual, preferably four, window frame profiles prior to assembly on the building.
- the frame has a first, lower frame section, comprising a respective lower area of the two lateral frame profiles, including a lower frame profile, and has a second, upper frame section, comprising a respective upper area of the two lateral frame profiles, including an upper frame profile.
- the frame is covered on its outside or on the weather side by a cover frame.
- the cover frame is preferably composed of individual cover frame profiles.
- the cover frame is designed to run around in the circumferential direction.
- the cover frame profiles are preferably made of metal, the cover frame typically being a so-called aluminum cladding.
- the cover frame can also be made from another weather-resistant material, such as plastic.
- the individual cover frame profiles extend in the circumferential direction of the frame arrangement or in the circumferential direction of the cover frame.
- the cover frame is also divided into a first, lower cover frame section, comprising a respective lower area of the two lateral cover frame profiles, including a lower cover frame profile, and a second, upper cover frame section, comprising a respective upper area of the two lateral cover frame profiles, including an upper cover frame profile.
- the lower cover frame section has a fall protection element, ie a fall protection element is integrated in the lower cover frame section.
- a groove is formed in the first, lower cover frame section.
- the fall protection element is preferably made of glass and is designed in the form of a plate or as a grid.
- the fall protection element is preferably received on two of its parallel opposite side surfaces in a respective groove open on one side towards the opposite side profile of the two opposite side cover frame profiles of the cover frame.
- a plurality of fastening elements of a first type are arranged on the outside or weather side of the window frame.
- the fastening elements are arranged on a first, lower frame section in each case along a profile longitudinal axis on the frame profiles, preferably at regular intervals.
- the fastening elements of the first type are used to fasten the cover frame with the fall protection element received therein to the frame in the lower area.
- a plurality of fastening elements of a second type are arranged on the outside of the window frame on a second, upper window frame section, preferably in each case along a respective longitudinal axis on the respective window frame profiles.
- the fastening elements are arranged on the side frame profiles and preferably also on the upper frame profile at a distance from one another, preferably at regular intervals, along the respective frame profile.
- the cover frame is preferably detachably connected to the frame, and the fastening elements of the first and / or the second type serve for this detachable connection. It is particularly practical if the fastening elements are designed in such a way that they engage in rear recesses or profile chambers of the cover frame.
- the fastening element of the first type is a rotary holder or rotary connector, a rotary clip holder or an eccentric rotary holder.
- the fastening element of the second type is preferably a conventional clip holder, or a fastening element which enables the cover frame to be locked or snapped onto the frame.
- this is Fastening element of the first type formed at least partially from metal or plastic.
- the fastening element of the first type is preferably a rotary clip holder or eccentric rotary holder made of metal. In the case of a construction from plastic, a plastic with increased strength would be preferred, such as glass fiber reinforced plastic.
- a particularly preferred frame arrangement is characterized in that at least one fastening element of the first type and at least one fastening element of the second type are arranged in the first, lower window frame section at least on a lower, horizontally arranged window frame profile.
- the distance between two fastening elements of the first type is preferably a maximum of 25 cm, and is preferably in the range from 5 cm to 25 cm, particularly preferably in the range from 7 to 15 cm.
- a fastening element of the second type is preferably arranged on the lower, horizontally arranged frame profile between two adjacent fastening elements of the first type.
- a particularly advantageous embodiment has at least two fastening elements of the first type on the lower frame profile.
- the lower frame profile preferably has at least two, particularly preferably at least three, fastening elements of the second type. These are arranged next to one another and preferably between two fastening elements of the first type arranged near the corners at the greatest possible distances from one another. In a further embodiment, the fastening elements of the first type are arranged alternately with the fastening elements of the second type.
- the fastening element of the first type and / or the fastening element of the second type preferably has a central through opening for the passage of a connection element, in particular a screw, for fastening or anchoring the fastening element on the frame.
- the connecting element advantageously engages in the respective frame profile in a direction transverse to the respective longitudinal axis of the profile.
- each of the individual cover frame profiles of the cover frame has an outer base which delimits a receiving space or a profile chamber extending outwardly along a profile longitudinal axis of the cover frame profile.
- This recording room or the profile chamber serves to receive a first area of a fastening element of the first or second type.
- the receiving space is also laterally delimited, viewed in cross section transversely to the profile longitudinal axis, by a first leg extending perpendicular to the base in the direction of an inner side or inwardly and a second leg extending perpendicular to the base in the direction of the inner side.
- the receiving space is also preferably delimited in a direction towards the frame, that is to say inwardly, by a first transverse web on the first limb and a second transverse web on the second limb.
- a through opening or recess for receiving a first section of the fastening element of the first or second type is arranged between the first transverse web and the second transverse web.
- the diameter of this through opening is just large enough for the narrow side to pass through the first section in the form of a rotary element.
- both the first cover frame profile, seen from the outside, on the left, and the second cover frame profile, seen from the outside, on the right, in the first, lower cover frame section in the area of the fall protection element integrated therein also each have a mounting element or mounting profile for attachment of the fall protection element on the cover frame.
- the groove of the cover frame for receiving the fall protection element is formed by the base of the respective side cover frame profile and a mounting element, which is preferably clipped into the two side cover frame profiles in the first, lower cover frame section.
- Such a mounting element preferably has a base web with which the mounting element is attached to the second leg of the cover frame profile, and a mounting arm, which extends in one piece and at an angle from the base web, preferably essentially parallel to the base of the cover frame profile, for mounting the fall protection element. It is particularly advantageous if a sealing element is arranged between the holding arm and the fall protection element.
- the holding element is preferably fitted, preferably clipped or latched, in the respective lateral cover frame profile in the first, lower cover frame section.
- a free end of the base web of the mounting element is supported in a groove which is formed by a first deflection section of the second leg of the second leg directed towards the inside or room side Cover frame profile is formed.
- the base web of the holding element is thus to a certain extent caught in an undercut.
- the fall protection element received in the cover frame is designed in the form of a plate.

The frame is covered on its outside or on the weather side by a cover frame. The cover frame is preferably composed of individual cover frame profiles. According to a preferred embodiment, the cover frame is designed to run around in the circumferential direction. The cover frame profiles are preferably made of metal, the cover frame typically being a so-called aluminum cladding. The cover frame can also be made from another weather-resistant material, such as plastic.
When placed next to one another, the individual cover frame profiles extend in the circumferential direction of the frame arrangement or in the circumferential direction of the cover frame.
The cover frame is also divided into a first, lower cover frame section, comprising a respective lower area of the two lateral cover frame profiles, including a lower cover frame profile, and a second, upper cover frame section, comprising a respective upper area of the two lateral cover frame profiles, including an upper cover frame profile. The lower cover frame section has a fall protection element, ie a fall protection element is integrated in the lower cover frame section. For this purpose, a groove is formed in the first, lower cover frame section. The fall protection element is preferably made of glass and is designed in the form of a plate or as a grid. The fall protection element is preferably received on two of its parallel opposite side surfaces in a respective groove open on one side towards the opposite side profile of the two opposite side cover frame profiles of the cover frame. According to the invention, a plurality of fastening elements of a first type are arranged on the outside or weather side of the window frame. The fastening elements are arranged on a first, lower frame section in each case along a profile longitudinal axis on the frame profiles, preferably at regular intervals. The fastening elements of the first type are used to fasten the cover frame with the fall protection element received therein to the frame in the lower area.
Furthermore, for fastening the cover frame in the upper area, a plurality of fastening elements of a second type are arranged on the outside of the window frame on a second, upper window frame section, preferably in each case along a respective longitudinal axis on the respective window frame profiles. The fastening elements are arranged on the side frame profiles and preferably also on the upper frame profile at a distance from one another, preferably at regular intervals, along the respective frame profile.
The cover frame is preferably detachably connected to the frame, and the fastening elements of the first and / or the second type serve for this detachable connection. It is particularly practical if the fastening elements are designed in such a way that they engage in rear recesses or profile chambers of the cover frame.
According to the invention, the fastening element of the first type is a rotary holder or rotary connector, a rotary clip holder or an eccentric rotary holder. The fastening element of the second type is preferably a conventional clip holder, or a fastening element which enables the cover frame to be locked or snapped onto the frame. According to a particularly preferred embodiment, this is Fastening element of the first type formed at least partially from metal or plastic. The fastening element of the first type is preferably a rotary clip holder or eccentric rotary holder made of metal. In the case of a construction from plastic, a plastic with increased strength would be preferred, such as glass fiber reinforced plastic.
A particularly preferred frame arrangement is characterized in that at least one fastening element of the first type and at least one fastening element of the second type are arranged in the first, lower window frame section at least on a lower, horizontally arranged window frame profile. The distance between two fastening elements of the first type is preferably a maximum of 25 cm, and is preferably in the range from 5 cm to 25 cm, particularly preferably in the range from 7 to 15 cm. A fastening element of the second type is preferably arranged on the lower, horizontally arranged frame profile between two adjacent fastening elements of the first type. A particularly advantageous embodiment has at least two fastening elements of the first type on the lower frame profile. In the case of narrow frame profiles, two fastening elements of the first type are sufficient, without fastening elements of the second type. In the case of wider frame profiles, the lower frame profile preferably has at least two, particularly preferably at least three, fastening elements of the second type. These are arranged next to one another and preferably between two fastening elements of the first type arranged near the corners at the greatest possible distances from one another. In a further embodiment, the fastening elements of the first type are arranged alternately with the fastening elements of the second type.
The fastening element of the first type and / or the fastening element of the second type preferably has a central through opening for the passage of a connection element, in particular a screw, for fastening or anchoring the fastening element on the frame. The connecting element advantageously engages in the respective frame profile in a direction transverse to the respective longitudinal axis of the profile.
According to a further preferred embodiment, each of the individual cover frame profiles of the cover frame has an outer base which delimits a receiving space or a profile chamber extending outwardly along a profile longitudinal axis of the cover frame profile. This recording room or the profile chamber serves to receive a first area of a fastening element of the first or second type.
The receiving space is also laterally delimited, viewed in cross section transversely to the profile longitudinal axis, by a first leg extending perpendicular to the base in the direction of an inner side or inwardly and a second leg extending perpendicular to the base in the direction of the inner side. The receiving space is also preferably delimited in a direction towards the frame, that is to say inwardly, by a first transverse web on the first limb and a second transverse web on the second limb. A through opening or recess for receiving a first section of the fastening element of the first or second type is arranged between the first transverse web and the second transverse web. In the case of the rotary holder or rotary clip holder or eccentric rotary holder according to a preferred embodiment, the diameter of this through opening is just large enough for the narrow side to pass through the first section in the form of a rotary element.
Another preferred embodiment is characterized in that both the first cover frame profile, seen from the outside, on the left, and the second cover frame profile, seen from the outside, on the right, in the first, lower cover frame section in the area of the fall protection element integrated therein also each have a mounting element or mounting profile for attachment of the fall protection element on the cover frame. Here, the groove of the cover frame for receiving the fall protection element is formed by the base of the respective side cover frame profile and a mounting element, which is preferably clipped into the two side cover frame profiles in the first, lower cover frame section. Such a mounting element preferably has a base web with which the mounting element is attached to the second leg of the cover frame profile, and a mounting arm, which extends in one piece and at an angle from the base web, preferably essentially parallel to the base of the cover frame profile, for mounting the fall protection element. It is particularly advantageous if a sealing element is arranged between the holding arm and the fall protection element.
The holding element is preferably fitted, preferably clipped or latched, in the respective lateral cover frame profile in the first, lower cover frame section. In a next preferred embodiment, a free end of the base web of the mounting element is supported in a groove which is formed by a first deflection section of the second leg of the second leg directed towards the inside or room side Cover frame profile is formed. The base web of the holding element is thus to a certain extent caught in an undercut.
It is particularly advantageous if the fall protection element received in the cover frame is designed in the form of a plate. The fall protection element is preferably made of glass or plastic, or the fall protection element is a railing or a grid, which is preferably made of metal or plastic.
The frame arrangement also preferably has at least one sealing profile, particularly preferably a plurality of sealing profiles. For this purpose, the cover frame preferably has a first sealing profile between the holding element and the fall protection element. A second sealing profile is advantageously attached to the frame, preferably a hollow-chamber sealing profile, which is preferably designed as a frame and sash overlap seal. Particularly preferably, the sealing profile fastened to the frame in a groove of the frame at least partially surrounds a second deflection section on the second leg of the cover frame, preferably with a sealing lip.
The fall protection element advantageously rests with an underside on a support element, the support element preferably resting on a bottom of the respective groove of the cover frame in which the fall protection element is laterally received.
In a further preferred embodiment of the frame arrangement, a gap is arranged between an underside of the fall protection element and the lower cover frame profile. Alternatively, however, the fall protection element can also extend to the lower cover frame profile and, for example, be received in an additional longitudinal groove in the lower cover frame profile, so that the fall protection element is not only partially held on the two side surfaces, but also on its underside in the cover frame profile.
The fastening of the cover frame with integrated fall protection element on the frame is particularly strong in a frame arrangement according to the invention if at least 10 fastening elements of the first type, preferably 14 to 24 fastening elements of the first type, are arranged in the lower window frame section, of which in lower frame profile are preferably arranged two fastening elements of the first type. Particularly preferably, the fastening elements of the first type on the two lateral frame profiles in the lower frame section, depending on the height of the fall protection element, have a maximum distance of 25 cm from one another, with a preferred distance between two fastening elements of the first type 5-25 cm, in particular 7-15 cm cm, most preferably 9-12 cm. With a height of the fall protection element of 300 to 400 mm, the preferred distance between two fastening elements of the first type is a maximum of 9 cm, and with a height of the fall protection element in the range of 401 to 1200 mm, the preferred distance between two fastening elements of the first type is preferably a maximum of 12 cm.
The invention further relates to a building window or a building door, having the said frame arrangement according to the above description, and preferably also having a sash with a sash frame covered by a sash cover frame and at least one window glass.

The

The assembled cover frame profiles 31, 32, 33, 34 extend with their respective profile longitudinal axis L in the circumferential direction U of the
The
