Definitions

  • the invention relates to a lamp according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such lights are known in the field, the housing, for example, in the case of a ceiling light being able to be attached to the ceiling or in a suspended ceiling, it being possible to provide a generally releasable connection between the cover and the housing.
  • a lamp is, for example, in the utility model DE 20 2016 000 122 U1 disclosed.
  • actuatable connecting means such as clamp hooks, rocker arm locks or the like are provided for fastening the cover to the housing, via which the cover can be detached from the housing, for example for maintenance purposes.
  • a generic lamp is in the laid-open specification EP 2 868 964 A1 disclosed.
  • the disclosure document US 2016/0327237 A1 discloses a luminaire comprising an elongated housing, a device carrier which carries a plurality of semiconductor light sources and a trough-shaped optical cover with an opening of the cover fixed longitudinal legs, wherein the device carrier is inserted into the cover and carried by this.
  • the housing and cover are connected by means of turnbuckles.
  • the present invention is based on the object of improving a conventional lamp with regard to its functionality.
  • the luminaire according to the invention is characterized in that the tongue and groove connection of the cover and the housing have corresponding locking elements for locking the cover to the housing, the lockable Tongue / groove connection can be released without tools and that latching elements of the cover each have walls attached to their two longitudinal ends and extending onto a transverse web of the respective longitudinal leg, for the design of a receptacle for a respectively assigned latching element of the housing.
  • the functional components for providing the tongue and groove connection simultaneously have functional elements or designs for providing a snap, ie latching connection, which come or lead to latching when the tongue and groove connection is positively joined.
  • a joining part is elastically deformed and then hooks releasably or non-releasably with a corresponding latching element.
  • one of the components, cover or housing has a groove and the other component has a tongue corresponding to the groove, with at least one latching element being arranged both on the inner surfaces defining the groove and on the surfaces defining the tongue can be, wherein these locking elements correspond and can automatically provide the described locking between tongue and groove and thus between cover and housing during the joining process for producing the tongue and groove connection.
  • latching elements of the cover are attached to their two longitudinal ends and include walls extending on a transverse web of the respective longitudinal leg to form a receptacle for a respectively assigned latching element of the housing.
  • This measure provides, on the one hand, a reinforcement of the cover in the area of the latching through the walls extending from the latching element and thus a more symmetrical dissipation of the forces occurring when the components are joined / separated.
  • they provide a secure locking of the associated latching elements, since a latching element of the housing associated with the latching receptacle of the cover rests in the latched state not only with regard to its latching surface on the latching surface of the associated latching element of the cover, but also the respective latching element, which for example can be designed as a latching hook, is received within the receptacle on the cover, so that there is also a form fit between the two corresponding latching elements in the longitudinal direction.
  • the lamp according to the invention is particularly easy to use when attaching the cover to the housing, since the joining process automatically locks the components to one another, so that sequential actuation of a plurality of clamp hooks or rocker arm locks or the like can be omitted during the joining process.
  • the appearance of the lamp is improved, since the elimination of these additional locking means in the area of the locking sections between the housing and the cover a closed and homogeneous appearance of the luminaire can be provided.
  • corresponding latching elements of the tongue and groove connection are covered by the external groove wall in order to maintain a closed and homogeneous appearance of the luminaire so that the latching elements are not visible to a viewer of the luminaire.
  • the receiving groove can be provided on the housing and the spring can be provided correspondingly on the cover, in particular to provide an attractive appearance of the lamp.
  • the housing can expediently be designed approximately U-shaped in cross-section with legs (side legs) that are spaced apart in the transverse direction and define an opening of the housing at their respective free end section, a receiving groove open in the direction of the cover can be formed with groove walls spaced in the transverse direction of the lamp .
  • the outer groove wall of the receiving groove can have latching elements spaced apart in the longitudinal direction on its inner side for latching with associated latching elements of the cover.
  • the outer groove wall can preferably extend with a uniform height over the length of the housing, which further enhances the harmonious appearance of the lamp.
  • the inner groove wall of the receiving groove has a lower height than the outer groove wall, for example in order to accommodate sections of the device carrier in the free space formed in this way, which under certain circumstances can be aligned with the inner groove wall.
  • a design in such a way that the free edge of the outer groove wall extends beyond the corresponding inner locking elements of the leg of the housing also has the advantage that a gripping edge is provided, for example to sequentially engage the locking for the purpose of servicing the lamp to loosen the longitudinally spaced (latching) points, then to loosen the tongue and groove connection by moving away from each other between the housing and the cover and thus to cancel the connection between the cover and the housing.
  • a foamable seal is designed within the receiving groove for setting the described tongue and groove connection and for locking it into place.
  • a hollow insertion element such as a thin needle can be inserted into the groove, preferably close to the groove base, and then the seal can be foamed into the groove by inserting the material.
  • a hermetic seal of the interior of the Provides luminaire to the outside is also provided.
  • the springs of the optical cover are on the inside have a plurality of longitudinally spaced apart and inwardly and in the direction of the base of the cover extending joining or guide ribs for support on the inside groove wall of the housing.
  • the design can be such that during the joining movement between the cover and the housing, the said joining ribs first come to rest on the inner surface of the inner groove wall of the housing and only then or at the same time do the inclined or guide surfaces of the associated latching elements of the cover and the sliding on each other Housing for expanding the receiving groove during the joining process.
  • the tongue of the cover has a web at its free end, which is on the outside at longitudinal locations at which a latching element is arranged on the tongue , merges into an inclined surface of the latching element and to which the joining rib design adjoins on the inside, so that the said web is designed as a sealing web which presses the seal against the groove base of the receiving groove.
  • a respective optical and / or haptic marking is designed on the outside of the outer groove wall in the longitudinal region of a locking element arranged on the inside of the outer groove wall, for example in the form of two markings such as Ribs which indicate the longitudinal extension of the respective locking element. These markings can indicate to the respective user at which points the respective outer groove wall is to be elastically deflected in order to release the respective latching between cover and housing at this point.
  • a haptic marking here means any surface design on the outside of the outer groove wall at the designated points that can be detected by touching.
  • Figure 1 represents an exploded view of the lamp according to the invention, which is designed in the described embodiment as a damp-proof ceiling lamp.
