Definitions

  • the invention relates to a pack for cigarettes, with an inner pack for a pack contents, in particular for a cigarette group, and with an outer pack, preferably in the form of a hinge-lid pack, wherein the contents of the pack preferably directly enveloping inner pack of (thin) cardboard sidewalls
  • the invention further relates to a method and / or a device for producing such a package according to the preamble of claims 12 and 18, respectively.
  • Packs for cigarettes are subject to numerous requirements, be it in design, constructive or economic terms. Such a requirement refers to protecting the contents of the package from harmful environmental influences and preserving the aroma in the package.
  • so-called sealing packs have been developed which protect the package contents very well in this sense.
  • the contents of the package are wrapped in an inner wrapping of foil, the folding flaps are closed by thermal sealing.
  • a removal opening is closed by means of a multiply actuated closure label, which is connected by gluing to the package.
  • the manufacturing process for such packages is relatively expensive.
  • legislation exists that seeks to prevent the contents of the package from coming into contact with the material of the film or adhesive, partly because it is feared that chemicals from the film or adhesive could migrate into the cigarettes.
  • the invention is based on the object to further develop a pack for cigarettes, in particular with regard to the protection of the contents of the package, compliance with legal requirements and the cost-effective manufacturability. Furthermore, it is an object of the invention to present a corresponding manufacturing process or apparatus.
