Definitions

  • the invention relates to a household refrigerator with a housing in which a receiving space for food is formed.
  • the household refrigerator also includes a door which is designed to close the receiving space and is arranged accordingly.
  • the door is movably arranged on the housing, the housing having a base unit.
  • the invention also relates to a method for assembling a door opening unit of the household refrigerator.
  • Household refrigeration appliances have a large number of components which usually have to be arranged in a compact manner in order to be able to keep the volume of the household refrigeration appliance as compact as possible.
  • components of a refrigeration circuit are required which are arranged at different positions in the domestic refrigeration appliance and which work together.
  • further components of an electronic type are also provided, which are assigned to an operating device and / or a display device, for example. Since the thermal insulation effect is also essential in household refrigerators, a corresponding thermally insulating material must also be provided so that the temperature of the receiving space can be controlled accordingly and also remains cool. This also gives rise to further requirements that components and feeds of an electrical and / or fluidic type cannot be laid arbitrarily in order not to impair this thermal insulation effect and thus not to penetrate the thermal insulation material in an undesired extent and frequently
  • U.S. 5,522,656 discloses a refrigerator with a door locking system.
  • a spring is arranged in a base region of the cooling device that is essentially open at the bottom.
  • a hinge arm of the refrigerator door also protrudes through an opening in the front wall of the base into the interior of the device, to which the spring is attached as well as to a hook on the front base wall.
  • a household refrigerator comprises a housing in which a receiving space for food is formed.
  • the household refrigerator also includes at least one door for closing the receiving space.
  • the door is movably arranged on the housing.
  • the housing includes a floor unit.
  • This base unit is designed as an outer part of the housing and thus closes off the household refrigerator from the outside at least in some areas.
  • This base unit comprises a receiving shaft in which a door opening unit, which is designed to at least assist the door opening, is arranged.
  • This receiving shaft has an access opening that is open at the bottom when viewed in the vertical direction of the household refrigerator, through which this door opening unit can be introduced from below for assembly in the receiving space.
  • a very specific functional module or a specific functional unit namely this door opening unit, is installed, which thus enables further advantages with regard to the functionality of the domestic refrigerator.
  • This door opening unit makes opening the door easier for a user, since the required tensile forces are reduced. Because this door opening unit creates a certain additional pushing open of the door, which simplifies handling. Especially when, due to thermodynamic conditions in the receiving space, the door has sucked itself in a little more firmly in its closed end position, this door opening unit supports and facilitates the door opening procedure for a user. Precisely this specific door opening unit is then also arranged in a completely individually positional manner by the invention and then also built into its end position.
  • this opening support function is achieved particularly advantageously and in that this opening unit is arranged in the base unit, it is not in the way even when the door is open and, if necessary, an opening tappet is extended forward. A pushing of a user himself or with an object when filling the receiving space or when removing it from the receiving space on the opening plunger is avoided by this position, which is completely installed at the lower point. As a result, undesired damage to the opening tappet can also be avoided.
  • the base unit has a base plate in which the access opening is formed.
  • an access opening is created which extends in a plane in which the base plate also extends, so that when viewed in the vertical direction of the household refrigerator, the receiving shaft is also designed to be as flat as possible. If the access opening were not only to extend in one plane but also had a certain three-dimensional shape, the receiving shaft would also have to be made correspondingly more voluminous.
  • this specific position of the access opening in this particularly flat base plate is also advantageous for the way in which the door opening unit is inserted into the receiving shaft. There is therefore no need to carry out a complex sequence of movements in order to be able to thread the door opening unit through the access opening; instead, a simple pushing in with a simple pivoting movement is sufficient.
  • the receiving shaft has a hood-like cover which is arranged on the base unit as a separate component over the access opening.
  • the receiving shaft is then delimited laterally and at the top by the inner sides of the cover and the access opening is covered from above.
  • the cover is designed such that, viewed in the depth direction of the household refrigerator, it is open towards the front, so that an opening tappet of the door opening unit can move out of the receiving shaft in this depth direction.
  • This configuration then protects the door opening unit from the structure of the domestic refrigeration appliance that follows inwards, in particular a thermal insulation material, which is then introduced.
  • This cover is on the one hand the receiving shaft is clearly delimited; on the other hand, direct contact of the thermal insulation material with the door opening unit can be prevented in an improved manner.
  • the cover is in particular formed in one piece, preferably made of plastic.
  • the cover has a stiffening structure, in particular an integrated one.
  • a stiffening structure in particular an integrated one.
  • precisely the area that forms the ceiling is stiffened, so that undesirable arching or pressing through in the direction of the volume space of the receiving shaft is avoided when the thermally insulating material is introduced.
  • an insulating expansion foam can then not undesirably press this cover of the cover downwards. This also prevents the volume space of the receiving shaft from being reduced to such an extent that the door opening unit would then no longer find space in it, in particular in the vertical direction.
  • the stiffening structure has linear stiffeners, which are preferably formed in a grid structure, in particular in a matrix pattern.
  • the mechanical stability of the cover is thereby increased in a particularly advantageous manner.
  • the cover has an integrated channel-like and downwardly open cable duct for the cable feed to the door opening unit.
  • This makes it particularly easy to lay an electrical cable or a cable in the form of a hose or some other line for supplying fluid to the door opening unit in a specific location and then to receive it in a protected manner.
  • the assembly is simplified and quicker and a precise arrangement of these cables is achieved.
  • the connection and connection of the cable to the door opening unit is then also made possible at any time, so that here too there is no unnecessary additional assembly effort with incorrect assemblies. Electrical and / or fluidic contact or a corresponding connection between the cable and the door opening unit is therefore always reliable.
  • the cover is non-destructively and non-detachably attached to the base unit, in particular glued or welded on.
  • ultrasonic welding can be mentioned here particularly advantageously, in particular if the base unit is also made of plastic in this connection area with the cover.
  • This configuration also allows a very tight connection to be implemented, so that an undesired passage of thermally insulating material, in particular insulating foam, is also prevented at the component interface between the cover and the base unit.
  • the cover is attached to the base unit in a non-destructive and detachable manner.
  • screwing or locking can also be provided here.
  • a cover strip is arranged in front of the receiving shaft and thus at the end, which covers a slot-shaped front opening of the cover and which has a smaller passage in relation to the dimensions of the front opening for extending an opening tappet of the door opening unit.
  • This cover strip also provides a corresponding position stop for the cover in the depth direction, so that it can also be arranged in a precisely positioned manner and then attached to the floor unit.
  • the dimensioning of the implementation of this cover also prevents the door opening unit as an entire component from slipping out undesirably far to the front via the slit-shaped front opening of the cover, so that this cover strip also supports the precise positioning of the door opening unit.
  • the cover strip is integrated into the base unit and is thus in particular also made in one piece with it.
  • the number of components can be avoided and the permanently precise arrangement of the cover strip can be achieved, in particular also for the access opening. Additional assembly work for fastening the cover strip is not required.
  • the household refrigerator is arranged in front of the cover strip and thus a further end strip on the front side which has a further passage for extending through an opening tappet of the door opening unit.
  • This end strip is in particular an angled component, so that the stability is correspondingly high.
  • a front stop can also be formed by this end strip, which stabilizes the housing at this point.
  • this end strip is made of metal, so that the base unit is stabilized at this front point, at which the receiving shaft then opens and in particular is delimited by the cover strip of the base unit.
  • the in particular L-shaped end strip represents a support part for the floor unit.
  • the end strip is then preferably connected to other support parts, so that a stable support structure is formed.
  • the dimensioning is preferably provided for the further passage in such a way that only the opening tappet can extend through and this is provided with a correspondingly small amount of play.
  • the cover is covered with thermal insulation material, in particular insulation foam, on its outside facing away from the receiving shaft. Direct contact of the insulation material with this cover is thus provided, so that there is still a sufficient thermal insulation effect towards the receiving space in the area of the receiving shaft.
  • thermal insulation material in particular insulation foam
  • the access opening to a cover separate from the base unit is closed at the bottom, the cover being fastened in a non-destructive detachable manner, in particular screwed on.
  • access is given at any time even after installation, for example for maintenance work or for replacing the door opening unit. This can therefore be done very quickly and easily and, moreover, without extensive dismantling of further functional components. Only this cover has to be removed.
  • the lid is beyond that also advantageous, so that there is no contamination of the receiving shaft via the access opening, and the high functional reliability of the door opening unit is also retained.
  • the base unit is designed in one piece. Viewed in the depth direction of the household refrigeration appliance, the floor unit has, in addition to a front base plate, a rear-side covering hood which is connected to the rear and which is designed to delimit a machine room of the household refrigeration appliance. In particular, components of the refrigeration circuit of the domestic refrigeration appliance are arranged in the machine room. This configuration thus enables a base unit which completely shoots down the housing and accommodates different functional components of the domestic refrigeration appliance at different points or provides individual accommodation shafts.
  • the door opening unit has a main housing in which an opening tappet is movably arranged, wherein this opening tappet extends or can extend out of the front side of the main housing.
  • the door opening unit comprises a separate contact housing, which has at least one electrical connection and / or a pressure hose connection, and which is arranged on the rear of the main housing in a non-destructive detachable manner, in particular is latched.
  • the door opening unit has a position in which, when the opening plunger is moved in a straight line in the depth direction of the household refrigerator with the door closed, the door is contacted accordingly by the opening plunger and a force then acting to at least assist the door opening.
  • this door opening unit is therefore arranged in the area of the base unit in such a way that it is covered by the door when the domestic refrigerator is viewed from the front when the door is closed. When the door is closed, the door opening unit sits behind the door and is covered by the flat dimensions of the door.
  • the invention also relates to a method for assembling a for at least opening support of a door Household refrigeration appliance according to the invention according to one of the preceding embodiments, designed door opening unit, in which the door opening unit, viewed in the vertical direction of the household refrigeration appliance, comes from an underside of a base unit of the household refrigeration appliance that forms an outer part of the housing of the household refrigeration appliance, through a downwardly open access opening in the base unit and is introduced into a receiving shaft and there is positioned in its end position.
  • Such an assembly scenario of a very specific functional unit of the household refrigeration appliance enables particularly high flexibility in the manufacturing process of the household refrigeration appliance and, moreover, enables the door opening unit to be accessed at any time even in the finished state.
  • this assembly scenario allows it to be brought into the end position quickly and easily and can therefore also be assembled and disassembled accordingly.
  • precisely because of this configuration it is very space-saving and not positioned in a disruptive manner for other units.
  • the receiving shaft is advantageously covered at the top by a cover which is mounted before the door opening unit is introduced.
  • this cover is attached to the base unit, to which the cover is a separate component and is provided accordingly. Gluing or ultrasonic welding is preferably carried out here. However, screwing or locking can also be provided.
  • This cover is provided as a trough-like component and thus represents a hood-like cover for this downwardly open access opening in the floor unit.
  • a thermally insulating material is introduced into a space between the floor unit and an inner container, which delimits the receiving space with its walls, can also be carried out even when the door opening unit is basically not yet mounted in the receiving shaft.
  • the cover has an integrated cable duct, so that the introduction of the thermally insulating material before the door opening unit is installed does not impair subsequent cable laying. The exact position and the exact The guide path for these cables is then already firmly specified by the cable duct and is no longer impaired by the introduction of the thermally insulating material.
  • the door opening unit can also be installed very easily and quickly thanks to the large access opening and the receiving shaft which is then provided directly in this regard. Even in the installed state, the cable channel means that no more cables are exposed or visible in a touchable manner, in particular when the access opening is also closed from below by a separate cover.
