Definitions
- the invention relates to a children's or youth ski boot with a shoe size according to ISO 5355 from 15 to 25 with a rigid ski boot shell and a ski boot sole with a front connection area for a toe piece of a ski binding, the ski boot sole in the front connection area being one of the contact point of the ski boot sole on a flat surface has to the front end of the sole rising sole underside, which is provided with a contact section for a sole support of the front jaw.
- the invention also relates to a combination of a children's or youth ski boot of a shoe size according to ISO 5355 from 15 to 25 with a ski binding with a toe piece, which has at least one sole holder and a sole support for the ski boot sole, the ski boot sole having a front connection area with one of the contact points of the ski boot sole on a flat standing surface to the front end of the sole, the underside of the sole being provided with a contact section for the sole support of the front jaw, the ski boot sole, when the ski boot is inserted into the ski binding, the sole support within the contact section along a, in particular linear, section extending in the transverse direction Contact point touched.
- An adult ski boot with a sole underside that rises towards the front end is from the EP 3 045 065 A1 known.
- the ski boot is designed in such a way that the ski boot sole in the front connection area essentially corresponds to both the specifications of ISO 5355 and those of ISO 9523 and can therefore be used with a piste ski binding and a touring ski binding.
- the free top of the sole points to the front
- the end of the ski boot sole is at a distance of at least 25 mm from the base perpendicular to the base when the ski boot is free-standing on a flat base; furthermore, when the ski boot is free on the base, the free upper side of the sole has a distance of 28 mm to 34 mm from the base measured in the longitudinal direction
- a distance to the underside of the sole of 19 mm ⁇ 2 mm, measured perpendicular to the standing surface.
- the sole underside has a distance of at least 5 mm from the front end of the sole measured in the longitudinal direction up to a distance of 40 mm ⁇ 10 mm.
- the distance between the underside of the sole and the contact area must be exactly 5 mm at a point in a range of 30 mm to 50 mm from the front end of the sole.
- the front connection area of ski boot soles according to EP 3 045 065 A1 is also designed in such a way that walking with such ski boots is more comfortable than with conventional ski boots. Ski boots with such a sole technology are on the market under the name GripWalk®.
- the associated GripWalk® ski bindings can also be used with the usual, standardized alpine ski boots in accordance with ISO 5355.
- ski boots In the case of children's and youth ski boots, optional use in piste and touring bindings is not in the foreground and is currently not under discussion. Here, however, there is also a desire for ski boots with significantly better walking and rolling comfort than that of conventional children's and youth ski boots. Any deviations of the ski boot soles from the ISO 5355 Type C standard applicable to children's and youth ski boots should, however, be such that necessary adjustments to the ski bindings ensure that both ski boots with improved walking comfort and ski boots that conform to the standards can be used equally.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of providing such a ski boot and a combination of such a ski boot with a ski binding.
- the combination of ski boot and ski binding is characterized in that, when the ski boot is positioned on a level surface, the distance between the contact point or the foremost point of the contact point of the ski boot sole determined parallel to the surface on this surface from the front end of the sole is 45 mm to 65 mm Location of the contact section, which is located at a distance of 32 mm ⁇ 2 mm from the front end of the sole determined parallel to the standing surface, the distance perpendicular to the standing surface to the level of the upper edge of the front sole end is 16.5 mm ⁇ 1.5 mm, whereby the distance between the underside of the sole and the level of the upper edge of the front end of the sole, determined perpendicular to the standing surface, becomes smaller in front of this point and greater behind this point, and that with the ski boot inserted, the vertical distance between the level of the contact point of the ski boot with the sole support and the level of the point on the underside of the sole holder that comes into contact with the ski boot is also 16.5 mm ⁇ 1.5 mm, and wherein the contact
- the ski boot according to the invention therefore has a ski boot sole which, in the front connection area, which is particularly important for comfortable walking, has a shorter or longer section to the front end of the sole depending on the size of the shoe has a rising sole underside, this section being at least 45 mm viewed in the longitudinal direction of the ski boot.
- the ski boot sole is advantageously designed in such a way that the dimension of 16.5 mm ⁇ 1.5 mm standardized in ISO 5355 Type C is located at a point in that section of the bottom of the sole that rises towards the front end of the sole. In the case of conventionally designed children's and youth ski boots, when the ski boot is on a flat surface, this point is in the area of the contact surface with the standing surface.
- the combination according to the invention of ski boot and the toe piece of a ski binding has an optimal coordination of the ski boot sole with the position of the sole support relative to the at least one sole holder of the toe piece.
- the underside of the sole when the ski boot is positioned on a flat surface, the underside of the sole extends relative to the ground at an angle of inclination of 10 ° ⁇ 5 °, this angle being the angle of a straight line between the point of contact or the front end of the point of contact of the underside of the sole on the ground and the lower edge of the front end of the sole is determined.
- An angle of inclination in this area is particularly advantageous for particularly good rolling and walking comfort of the ski boots.
- Another preferred embodiment of the ski boot is in which the distance between the contact point or the foremost point of the contact point of the ski boot sole from the front end of the sole, determined parallel to the standing surface, is 65 mm ⁇ 10 mm, in particular 65 mm ⁇ 5 mm. This configuration is also particularly advantageous for particularly good rolling and walking comfort of the ski boots.
- the ski boot sole of the ski boot is preferably designed in such a way that when the ski boot is positioned on a flat base, the vertical distance between the upper edge of the front end of the sole and the base is 24 mm ⁇ 1.5 mm. This distance is independent of the position of the mentioned contact point of the ski boot sole. The angle of inclination also mentioned is therefore selected accordingly.
- the ski boot sole is also preferably designed in such a way that it has a thickness of 12 mm ⁇ 1.5 mm at its front end.
- Such a configuration advantageously corresponds to ISO 5355 Type C.
- the combination of ski boot and ski binding with a toe piece, which has a sole support, is preferably designed in such a way that it has an apex, the vertical distance of which from the level of the point on the underside of the sole holder 16.5 that comes into contact with the ski boot sole when the ski boot is inserted mm ⁇ 1.5 mm.
- the toe piece and ski boot are particularly well adapted to one another.
- the sole support is preferably designed in such a way that it is elastically resilient and movable up to 3 mm in the vertical direction, the vertical distance to the level of the point on the underside of the sole holder that comes into contact with the ski boot sole when the ski boot is inserted, the distance in the uppermost Position of the sole pad is. Therefore, not only a child's or youth's ski boot according to the invention but also a child's or youth's ski boot designed in accordance with the standard can be used in the front jaw. Due to the vertical mobility of the sole, ski boots for adults can also be used, namely ski boots with so-called GripWalk® soles and adult ski boots in accordance with ISO 5355 Type A.
- a free space for receiving a curvature of the ski boot sole below the level of the apex of the sole support when the ski boot is inserted into the ski binding.
- This free space is, for example, an exposure in a lower housing part of the toe piece that receives the sole support.
- Ski boots designed according to the invention are children's and youth ski boots with a shoe size according to ISO 5355 from 15 to 25, in particular from 15 to 21.
- the sole lengths of the children's and youth ski boots are therefore 170 mm to 300 mm, in particular 185 mm to 260 mm.
- Fig. 1 and 2 show a ski boot sole 1 of a ski boot and the area of a ski boot shell 2 adjoining it.
- the ski boot sole 1 has a front connection area 3, by means of which the connection of the ski boot to a toe piece of a ski binding is established, and a rear connection area 4, by means of which the Connection of the ski boot with a rear binding part - a heel block - takes place.
- the rear connection area 4 is not the subject of the invention, so that its design will not be discussed in detail.
- the ski boot sole 1 has an underside 5 of the sole with a contact section 5a that is continuous in the transverse direction.
- the ski boot sole 1 occurs when the ski boot with a sole support 6 is inserted in the toe piece ( Fig. 3 ) flat or linear in contact.
- the rear connection area 4 also has a sole underside 6 with a contact section 6a, with which, when the ski boot is inserted into the heel jaw, the ski boot sole in front of the heel jaw with a binding part, in particular a pedal of a ski brake Contact comes.
- the dashed line L shown is the connecting line running along the center of the ski in the longitudinal direction of the ski between the contact points of the contact sections 5a, 6a.
- the ski boot sole 1 is provided with a molding in a conventional manner.
- the ski boot sole 1 Both at its front end and at its rear end, the ski boot sole 1 has an end section protruding beyond the outer shell 2, so that the ski boot sole 1 can be overlapped in a manner known per se by a component of the toe or heel at least from above.
- the ski boot has a rolling behavior when walking, which enables significantly more comfortable walking than with conventional ski boots.
- the design of the ski boot sole 1 in the front connection area 3 in particular ensures the favorable roll-off behavior.
- the sole underside 5 in the front connection area 3 is inclined upward in the direction of the front end of the sole and can be slightly arched outward overall. If the ski boot is on a level surface ( Fig. 1 ) the angle of inclination a of the sole underside 5, determined as the angle of a straight line between the support point A (with an essentially linear support) or the front end of the support point A (with a flat support) on the ground and the end of the sole, is 10 ° ⁇ 5 ° .
- the horizontally determined distance a 1 between the support point A or the front end of the support point A and the end of the sole is 45 mm to 79 mm, in particular 65 mm ⁇ 10 mm, preferably 65 mm ⁇ 5 mm.
- the sole underside 5 has a bulge 7 around the area of the support point A. When the ski boot is inserted into the ski binding, the bulge 7 is located below the line L, as in FIG Fig. 2 shown.
- the sole thickness d 1 at the tip of the ski boot sole is 12 mm ⁇ 1.5 mm
- the distance b 1, determined perpendicular to the standing surface, of the upper edge of the sole end to the flat standing surface is 24 mm ⁇ 1.5 mm.
- the contact portion 5a starts in a parallel horizontal distance a 2 from the front end of the sole of 23 mm ⁇ 1.5 mm and has an extension 1 in the longitudinal direction of the sole of 20 mm ⁇ 1.5 mm.
- the distance b 2 perpendicular to the base and the level of the upper edge of the front end of the sole is 16.5 mm ⁇ 1.5 mm
- the perpendicular to the base determined distance of the sole underside to the level of the upper edge of the front end of the sole before this point is smaller and behind this point larger.
- b 2 therefore corresponds to the dimension of 16.5 mm ⁇ 1.5 mm according to ISO 5355 type C.
- the contact section 5a can be designed as a shallow, in particular 1 mm to 1.5 mm deep, depression in the ski boot sole 1, as in FIG the Figures 1 and 2 shown, or a partial area of a sole bottom designed without a trough. Behind the mentioned point, the distance b 2 can be maintained over the extension of the trough in the longitudinal direction of the shoe. In the case of an embodiment without a trough, the distance between the underside of the sole and the level of the upper edge of the front end of the sole is continuously smaller in front of the mentioned point and continuously larger behind the mentioned point. If the underside of the sole is profiled, these distances are determined from the envelope of the underside of the sole.
- Fig. 3 shows schematically a toe piece 8 of a ski binding with an inserted ski boot and with at least one sole holder 9 that grips the front end portion of the ski boot sole 1 from above is provided with the sole 6 in its protruding part.
- the sole support 6 can be designed in a manner known per se in several parts and has, as the uppermost part, a support element 12 which is, for example, an essentially plate-shaped component.
- the support element 12 is either resiliently movable in the vertical direction to an extent of 2.5 mm to 3 mm or is arranged fixed in the vertical direction.
- the support element 12 has an apex S which, when the ski boot is inserted into the ski binding, has a distance a 4 from the front sole end which is 32 mm ⁇ 2 mm and therefore at least in Essentially corresponds to the distance a 3 .
- the position of the at least one sole holder 9 in the toe piece is such that the underside of the part of the sole holder 9 that grips the ski boot sole 1 from above is at a distance b 3 in the vertical direction from the level of the vertex S, which is at the distance b 2 ( Fig. 1 ) is adjusted and is therefore 16.5 mm ⁇ 1.5 mm.
- a child's or youth's ski boot with a standard sole in accordance with the ISO 5355 Type C standard and a child's or youth's ski boot in accordance with the invention can therefore be used.
- the overall height of the sole 6 is such that there is sufficient free space behind the sole 6 in the lower housing part 11 to accommodate the arch 7 of a ski boot sole designed according to the invention.
- the sole support 6 with elastically resilient, vertical mobility of the support element 12 the corresponding figure in FIG Fig. 3
