Definitions
- the invention relates to a valve element for the controlled delivery and heating of an air flow in a building.
- Valve heat elements of the aforementioned type are used for the controlled delivery, steering, throttling, and, if necessary, reheating an air flow.
- a wall or ceiling outlet where the valve element is arranged, supplied with a centrally controlled volume flow.
- a heat pump is often used to cover the base load for heating.
- These basic load generators thus supply the rooms with preheated air. In order to maintain the desired room temperature at falling outside temperatures, a reheating of the room supply air is required.
- the required air inflow is realized in the room.
- the air When installed in the building ceiling, for example, with a plate shape, the air at a suitable angle circular (conical) passed into the room.
- value is often placed on a large range of air, so that such valves often have a long throw characteristic.
- valve heat elements care must be taken to ensure that the generated heat can not cause damage or even danger during normal operation or in the event of a malfunction.
- Connecting cables for mains voltage must therefore be designed, for example, in the area of the air flow correspondingly temperature resistant by suitable insulating materials such as silicone or Teflon.
- a ventilation device for simultaneous ventilation of rooms according to the prior art is in the DE 38 28 011 A1 described.
- valve heat elements according to claim 1.
- Advantageous embodiments are contained in the subclaims.
- the invention relates to valve heat elements for the controlled delivery and heating of an air flow, wherein the valve heat element has a connection housing and a heat element housing.
- connection housing serves to attach the valve heat element in a building wall or building ceiling as well as to supply an air line connection and an electrical power cable. Typically, it is fixedly mounted in a prepared opening of a wall or ceiling and connected to a duct for the supply of preheated air.
- channel here and below is not limited to any particular design, but includes all forms of channels, pipes, hoses and the like. Furthermore, in the following often simplistic spoken only by an attachment of the valve element in a wall, in which case always the attachment should be included in a ceiling.
- the heat element housing serves to receive (at least) an electrical heating element, with which heat is generated with the supply of current and can be delivered to the air flow flowing through the valve heat element.
- the terminal housing and the heat element housing may be in one piece or in several parts. Preferably, they are each separate housings with optional subcomponents.
- valve heat element of the type defined above is also referred to below as “base valve heat element” and further developed by the aspects of the present invention explained in more detail below.
- base valve heat element A valve heat element of the type defined above.
- the base valve heat element according to a first aspect of the invention, a connection housing with a separate from the air flow Conduit shaft in which a terminal block for connection to the power cord is arranged.
- the power cord is thus no longer guided by the air flow and is therefore no longer exposed to the potentially prevailing high temperatures there or exposed in the course of line inspections and cleaning in particular unwanted mechanical wear or damage by cleaning equipment. Special insulation of the power cord (e.g., by Teflon) is therefore no longer required, but the conventional insulation (e.g., PVC) may remain.
- the power cord can be connected in the duct to the terminal block, from which the electrical supply of the valve element takes place.
- the terminal block may in principle be formed integrally with the terminal housing. Preferably, however, it is independent of the terminal housing, separate component, since then their connection to the power cord outside of the terminal housing and thus can be done easier.
- locking means are provided in this case in the connection housing or especially in the conduit shaft for a quick snap fastening of the terminal block on the connection housing.
- screw means may be provided for fastening the terminal block, for example in the form of a threaded screw hole.
- a base valve heat element includes a terminal block, which is arranged in the connection housing for connection to the power cable, and arranged in the heat element housing pin header, wherein the pin strip electrically contacts the terminal block during assembly of terminal housing and heat element housing.
- Terminal block and pin header are typically designed as plug and socket of a plug-in device, so that they produce electrical contact between one, two, three or more lines in terminal block or pin header by plugging (eg for forwarding of outer conductor, neutral conductor and / or protective conductor of a mains voltage) ,
- this electrical contacting is produced simultaneously with the joining together of connection housing and heat-element housing, so that no further assembly steps are necessary for this.
- this is the power supply intrinsically safe interrupted when the heat element is removed from the junction box for the purpose of inspection or maintenance, so that corresponding safety requirements are met and no danger to humans emanates.
- the invention relates to a base valve heat element, wherein the connection housing has at its outer periphery at least one Glasclalle, which can be pivoted radially outward and axially adjusted.
- axial and radial refer to the axis of the air flow through the valve heat element, which typically also represents a structural axis of symmetry. In the assembled state of the valve heat element, this axis is typically perpendicular to the wall.
- the terminal housing can be easily and securely fixed to a wall plate, in the opening of the terminal housing is arranged. Namely, the Switzerlandklalle can engage behind the wall plate by their radially outward pivoting and then by a corresponding axial adjustment on the wall plate to the connection housing on the wall plate (or the wall or ceiling side plate back in the sense of a rear wall mounting) clamp.
- the opening in the wall plate is adapted as precisely as possible to the diameter of the connection housing (with the pull claw not pivoted outward).
- two, three or more Buchkrallen the described type are provided, which are typically arranged distributed equidistantly over the circumference of the terminal housing.
- the invention relates to a base valve heat element, wherein the heat element housing has a circular passage for the air flow, in which a non-square, preferably cross-shaped heating coil is arranged.
- the heating register serves to heat an air stream, wherein the heating coil is typically traversed even by the air flow to produce the largest possible surface contact.
- the invention relates to a base valve heat element, wherein in the heat element housing, a heating coil is arranged, which has separate connections to at least two different of its heating segments.
- this is a valve heat element, which is also designed according to the fourth aspect of the invention, ie with a cross-shaped PTC register.
- the heater can therefore be used in at least two ways, which differ by the different activation of Schusegmenten (or heating zones).
- the connections can be selected so that optionally all the heating segments contained in the heating coil are traversed by the current, or that some heating segments (for example, lying on the edge) are not traversed by current. In this way, the heating capacity of the heater can be adapted to the needs of the respective air outlet of a building.
- the invention relates to a base valve heat element, wherein in the heat element housing, a heating register is arranged behind a protective grid.
- the protective grid is usually made of an electrically non-conductive material and typically has such small holes that a human finger can not come into contact with the electrically conductive surface.
- the mesh size of the contact protection grid in dependence on its height and thus distance from the register surface according to the applicable rules of technology (VDE test finger compliant) run
- the above-mentioned protective grid is advantageously an integral part of the heat element housing.
- it can also be used via a latching connection in the heat element housing.
- the latching connection for safety reasons is preferably carried out so that disassembly is possible only by means of this tool necessary, so that the protective grid can not be removed unauthorized.
- the heater is advantageously used via a latching connection in the heat element housing and securely held.
- the invention relates to a base valve heat element, in which a valve plate is arranged in front of the air outlet on the heat element housing, which is connected variable in distance with the heat element housing.
- a valve disk is used to design the inflow of air into the room in such a way that it is distributed as well as possible and without the formation of a noticeable air flow.
- the valve plate typically prevents the direct, straight exit of the air in the direction of its current and ensures that the air along a circumferential annular gap (between the valve disk edge and the heat element housing) in a defined angular range relative to Outflow axis flows out.
- the interaction of the heat element outer collar with the valve disk diameter, their setting position and their shape (which may differ from design variants of these components) can influence the angular range of the air outlet flow and throttle effect. Due to the variability of the distance between the valve disk and the heat element housing while the exit angle and / or the throttle effect can be adjusted to the needs of each room.
- connection between the valve disk and the heat element housing can be effected in particular via a plug-in mechanism, which preferably has latching steps.
- the valve plate can then be defined and reproducibly mounted at a certain distance.
- the plug-in mechanism can be realized for example by a tantdom on the valve disk and an associated funneldom recording on the heat element housing (or vice versa).
- the invention relates to a base valve heat element in which a Dekorkragen is arranged around the connection housing and / or around the heat element housing, which forms the transition to the wall.
- a separate decorative collar which is not integrally connected to the terminal housing or the heat element housing, has the advantage that the Dekorkragen can be selected independently of the aforementioned components and also replaced if necessary.
- an aesthetically optimal matching decorative collar can be used, or it can be replaced at a later time a damaged or out of fashion decorative collar in a simple manner by a new decor collar.
- the invention relates to a base valve heat element with an annular gap limiter, which is arranged at the air outlet opening of the heat element housing alignable and prevents the air outlet in certain directions.
- the annular gap limiter can in principle be shaped and configured as desired. As its name implies, however, it will usually serve the limitation of an annular gap, which is formed for example between the heat element housing and a valve disc. Accordingly, the annular gap limiter is preferably arranged in the air outlet opening between the heat element housing and a valve disk. Through the annular gap limiter, the air flow can be shaped as needed by being blocked in certain directions. Due to the alignability of the Ringpaltbeskyrs the position of these directions can be optimally adapted to the building conditions.
- the annular gap limiter is rotatably arranged in detent stages about the air outlet axis of the heat element housing. By latching steps, a defined position of the annular gap limiter is achieved, which can also be easily reproduced.
- connection housing On the connection housing is in particular a coupling part for the connection of an air duct. Since there are air ducts of different dimensions and geometries in practice, an adapter is advantageously provided as a separate component, which causes the transition from the coupling part of the connection housing to the respective air duct. In this way, the coupling part can remain the same at the connection housing, and only different adapters have to be provided in order to be able to flexibly connect the valve element to different air channels.
- the invention relates to a base valve heat element with a housing, which can be used in place of the connection housing and / or the heat element housing and allows the flow of air in at least one direction.
- This housing is referred to below as “passive housing”, since it is designed for the passive flow of air (ie without their active heating).
- the passive housing provides a system of components that can be selectively assembled into an (active) valve heat element or a (passive) supply air and / or exhaust valve element.
- an active valve heat element and a passive Zu Kunststoff- and / or exhaust valve element have the same appearance.
- the passive housing can have a receptacle for a (preferably replaceable) filter element.
- a (preferably replaceable) filter element e.g. advantageous if an exhaust air connection to be implemented in a place such as a kitchen, where frequent air pollution.
- valve heat element 100 an exemplary embodiment of a valve heat element 100 according to the present invention is shown.
- the valve heat element is used to allow a controlled air inlet of, for example, by means of geothermal heat or by an air / air heat pump preheated air in a room.
- a valve heat element as a heat element typically includes an electric heating coil with one or more heating segments (as the smallest active heating units) which will flow through them Can warm the air.
- PTC resistors whose resistance increases with increasing temperature, the heating power can be adjusted in a self-regulating manner to the air flowing through the valve heat element.
- three tensile claws 120 are arranged circumferentially evenly distributed at the rear outer edge of the terminal housing. These are pivoted radially inward in a rest position, so that they rest against the connection housing 110.
- a slight expression of Buchkrallenauflage Materials is preferably provided for securing the position. This can be configured so that it is “skipped” by an approximately half screwdriver rotation counter to the tightening direction (counterclockwise) with subsequent tightening rotation (clockwise).
- this interaction is also possible by deviating contouring (mating) of claw bight and claw contour by overcoming the breakaway torque in the tightening direction of the claw screw. As a result, the release of the claw in the opposite direction can be replaced by overcoming the claw breakaway torque.
- the tensile claws 120 are pivoted radially outward, so that they protrude beyond the radius of the connection housing 110. Furthermore, the tensile claws 120 are mounted with a thread on a lag screw 121 which extends in the axial direction and is accessible from the front side of the connection housing 110 forth. By turning this lag screw 121, therefore, the axial position of the Switzerlandkrallen 120 can be changed.
- the terminal housing 110 can be easily and safely fixed in the opening of a building (hollow) wall.
- the terminal housing 110 is thereby inserted (with tensile claws 120 in rest position) first through the most accurate prefabricated, circular opening in the wall plate, then the Glaskrallen 120 are pivoted radially outwardly into the holding position, whereby they engage behind the wall plate, and finally they are through Tighten the Tightening Screw 121 under tension against the wall plate from inside to clamp the terminal box.
- a flange 114 resting externally on the wall opening (FIG. FIG. 6 ) of the connection housing 110 ensures the necessary back pressure.
- FIG. 6 shows a plan view of the connection housing 110.
- This consists of a body 111 with a circular central opening for the air flow.
- a duct shaft 117 is provided in the form of a separate, structurally separate chamber into which the cable entry 112 opens.
- two latching hooks 118 are provided, on which a terminal block 116 without tools can be fixed by latching. Additionally or alternatively, the terminal block 116 can also be attached to a screw hole 119 of the conduit shaft 117.
- the power cord of the house installation is passed through the cable entry 112, wherein the sheath of the power cord is removed to the inner end of the cable entry.
- the individual wires of the cable are allowed to stand in sufficient length, stripped at their ends, and electrically connected with these ends to the terminal block 116 (eg by plug-in connections or screw connections). How out FIG. 3 can be seen, the required length of the wires or the stripped ends is preferably shown in a length scale 113 on the back of the terminal housing 110 for the fitter.
- FIG. 8 shows how the terminal block 116 is electrically connected to a pin header 132. This connection or the mating of terminal block 116 and pin header 132 is carried out automatically when joining heat element housing 130 and terminal housing 110 (wherein the two housings are firmly connected to each other, for example by screws).
- the glow lamps 131c are seen from the front of the heat element housing 130 forth through corresponding openings, so that the user can control the proper function or wiring of the board.
- FIG. 11 shows the arrangement of the control board 131 in the heat element housing 130. Furthermore, a central, approximately cross-shaped opening can be seen, in which the electrical heating coil of PTC elements (not shown) is to be arranged. Due to the shape of the cross, the circular surface of the air channel is optimally utilized.
- the cross-shaped opening further has latching cams 134, with which the heating coil can be easily installed and removed without tools and is held securely. Also, the circuit board is advantageously tool without latching and removed, for example, by being held by locking cams.
- FIG. 11 shows further that the control board 131 and the electrical connections for the heater are arranged on adjacent sides of the Bankregisters, on the side of the terminals shock-proof webs 133 are to see for short-circuit prevention. Accordingly, the PTC heating segments of the heating register extend transversely and parallel to each other from the terminals to the opposite side of the heating register, ie FIG. 11
- the arrangement of the control board and heater terminals on adjacent sides of the heater makes it possible to keep the footprint of the heater housing compact despite the non-square shape of the heater.
- FIG. 12 shows a plan view of the heat element housing 130 with a protective grid 136 which is arranged in the air flow channel in front of the heating coil (not shown). It can also be seen here that the cylindrical heat-element housing 130 is fastened in the connection housing 110 (preferably by screwing), wherein the connection housing consists of a substantially cylindrical body, which has on its room-side leading edge a peripheral flange 114 for resting on the outside of Ceiling or wall (as an abutment to the Switzerlandkrallen).
- the flange 114 has the shape of a square with strongly rounded corners, wherein the straight flange edges in the center may additionally have notches to the exact horizontal / vertical orientation of the housing in a building wall facilitate, which is particularly advantageous in rectangular collar shapes, since the outer edges should be aligned as exactly parallel to other reference edges of the room.
- the axial distance of the decorative collar of the flange of the connection housing 110 is adjustable within certain limits in order to form an adjustable shadow gap to the building wall can.
- the adjustment can be done, for example, by turning the mounted on a helix on the connection housing 110 Dekorkragens 160.
- the decorative collar can be formed so that it can accommodate lighting on its inside, for example in the form of LED strips.
- a corresponding bore can be provided in the flange collar of the connection housing.
- the heat element and lighting circuit can be switched separately.
- the collar shape and color of the lighting can be designed as effect or emergency lighting. Due to the shadow gap adjustment, the light can be directed in the vicinity of the collar on wall or ceiling surface.
- Protective grid 136 prevents a user from touching electrically conductive (i.e., under voltage) portions of the heater register (in non-isolated PTC heater registers). Additionally or alternatively, the heating registers themselves could be made electrically insulated, e.g. as Kapton foil-insulated PTC chips, so that one could do without an upstream contact protection. A disadvantage of this variant, however, is that the electrical insulation would also be a thermal barrier at the expense of a reduced power density.
- the grille 136 through which the heated air flows into the room, is typically covered by a valve plate (or other type of valve attachment) for directing and metering the airflow.
- FIG. 13 shows such a valve disk 150 in a view of its back, which faces the protective grid 136 in the mounted state.
- a valve disk 150 For attachment to the protective grid of the circular in principle circular valve plate 150 in the center of a funneldom recording 152, which consists of four, each rotated by 90 ° to each other and perpendicular protruding from the valve plate angle plates, which form a cross-shaped slot between them.
- latching steps 154 are preferably arranged on the insides of this slot, and one of the walls of the funneldom recording 152 has a recess 153, so that the valve disc only in a certain orientation ("12:00 position") with the heat element housing can be connected. In this way, a reproducible attachment of the valve disk 150 can be ensured.
- FIG. 15 shows the centrally arranged on the protective grid 136 and facing the room cross dome 137, ie a cross-shaped elevation, which is dimensioned so that it can be clamped together with the Kreuzdom recording 152 of the valve disk.
- On the left and right sides arranged on Buchdom 137 locking cams 138 can cooperate with the latching steps 154 of the Wiendom recording to fix a certain axial position of the valve disk relative to the protective grid and to make reproducible.
- FIG. 13 further shows an optionally usable annular gap limiter 170 with a sector surface 171 and a rim 172 which closes a part of the annular gap formed between the valve plate 150 and the heat element housing 130 for the air outlet, so as to direct the air outlet in a certain direction.
- the annular gap limiter 170 is fastened with an eye around the cross-dome receptacle 152 around the valve disk 150, wherein it is rotatable about the air outlet axis or device axis A relative to the valve disk. In this way, the outlet direction of the air flow can be determined according to the particular building conditions.
- the relative angular position of the annular gap limiter 170 relative to the valve disk 150 is preferably adjustable by a latching mechanism, for example in steps of approximately five degrees.
- the annular gap limiter 170 as a latching mechanism, can have a latching cam 175 which can engage in recesses of the valve plate. Furthermore, a window 173 can be provided on the annular gap limiter 170, by means of which the current setting position on an angle scale 151 of the valve disk 150 can be read.
- optional break points can be provided on the annular gap limiter 170, by means of which the sector covered by it can optionally be increased by breaking off demolition pieces 174.
- the Figures 17 and 18 show the use of spacers 155, which can be clamped in the Wiendom recording 152.
- the spacers 155 are provided in several different heights and can thus specify the axial stop position, to which a valve plate can be inserted into the Wiendom recording 152. By inserting the matching spacer 155, a simply reproducible axial positioning of the valve disk can thus be ensured.
- the spacers 155 and the cross-dome receptacle 152 preferably have an orientation feature 156, such as a cam and a recess, to ensure unambiguous alignment of the spacer.
- annular gap limiter angular position
- one or two-sided reduction the position of the valve disk (over the depth stop crosses)
- FIG. 19 a circuit diagram of the valve heat element 100 is shown. Abstract
Description

Figuren 9 und 10 näher dargestellt ist. Die Steuerplatine enthält außer der Stiftleiste 132 die folgenden Komponenten: - einen ersten Flachstecker 131 a für den Anschluss eines Heizregisters;
- einen Varistor 131b;
- Glimmlampen 131c;
- eine Temperatursicherung 131d;
- eine Leistungsbrücke 131e;
- Sicherungen 131f;
- In
