    - mounting means (9) for mounting the follower (4) inside the housing (3), with a longitudinal clearance (10) in a direction parallel to the direction of translation of the rod (6), these mounting means (9) including, on the one hand, two hubs (42), which the follower (4) includes laterally and on both sides and, on the other hand, two accommodations (31), which the housing (3) includes on both sides, which each extend along an axis parallel to the direction of translation of the rod (6), and inside which said hubs (42) extend;
    - being configured so that, when the follower (4) is in the locked position, the transverse clearance (8) and the longitudinal clearance (10) extend in the same direction, so to permit a displacement in translation of the follower (4) relative to the housing (3);
    - wherein, on the one hand, the two hubs (42) each adopt a circular shape and, on the other hand, the two accommodations (31) each adopt an oblong shape.
  2. Espagnolette (1) according to claim 1, wherein the accommodation means (7) consist of the opening (41), which the follower (4) includes, which has a rectangular shape, and which includes, on the one hand, short sides (410), which have a length substantially equal to that of the sides (50) of the transmission square rod (5) and, on the other hand, long sides (411), which have a length longer than that of the short sides (410) of the opening (41).
  3. Espagnolette (1) according to claim 2, wherein the difference in length between the long sides (411) and the short sides (410) of the opening (41) of the follower (4) corresponds to the transverse clearance (8).
  4. Espagnolette (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein, on the one hand, the hubs (42) have a determined radius and, on the other hand, the accommodations (31) having an oblong shape are delimited by two parallel longitudinal sides (310) spaced apart by a distance corresponding to substantially twice the radius of the hubs (42) as well as by two hemispherical bearings (311; 311') the radius of which is substantially equal to the radius of the hubs (42).
  5. Espagnolette (1) according to claim 4, wherein the two hemispherical bearings (311; 311') each have a center (312; 312') and these centers (312; 312') are spaced apart by a center distance (E) corresponding to the longitudinal clearance (10).
  6. Espagnolette (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the hubs (42) of the follower (4) have a center through which passes the axis of rotation of this follower (4).
  7. Espagnolette (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the transverse clearance (8) is at least equal to the longitudinal clearance (10).
  8. Espagnolette (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the espagnolette (1) includes positioning means for at least positioning the follower (4) relative to the housing (3), in a position for unlocking the follower (4) permitting the rotation of this follower (4) relative to the housing (3).
  9. Espagnolette (1) according to claim 8, wherein the positioning means consist of elastic means for restoring the follower (4) into the unlocked position.
  10. Espagnolette (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the rod (6) is movable in translation between an unlocked position and a locked position, according to a determined stroke, and the length of this stroke is larger than the transverse clearance (8) and/or the longitudinal clearance (10).
  11. Locking system (2) for a device for closing an opening of a construction, this locking system (2) including an espagnolette (1) and a transmission square rod (5), wherein the espagnolette (1) is according to any one of the preceding claims.
  12. Locking system (2) according to claim 11, wherein the transmission square rod (5) extends along an axis and the accommodation means (7) are configured to accommodate this transmission square rod (5) inside the opening (41) of the follower (4), with the transverse clearance (8) in a transverse direction relative to the axis of this transmission square rod (5).
  13. Locking system (2) according to claim 11, wherein the opening (41) of the follower (4) has a rectangular shape and includes, on the one hand, short sides (410), which have a length substantially equal to that of the sides (50) of the transmission square rod (5) and, on the other hand, long sides (411), which have a length longer than that of these sides (50) of the transmission square rod (5), and the difference in length between the long sides (411) of the opening (41) of the follower (4) and the sides (50) of the transmission square rod (5) corresponds to the transverse clearance (8).
