Definitions
- the invention relates to a vehicle restraint system having a post with a plate connected to the post, in particular a base plate, the plate having at least one recess spaced from the post, and a weld seam integrally connected to the post and to the plate and the post and plate. in particular fillet weld, with a leg length along the plate.
- the invention therefore has the task of changing a vehicle restraint system of the type described above such that while ensuring a low risk of injury a required impact severity can be maintained exactly.
- the invention solves this problem by the fact that the recess of the plate extends to the weld at least up to a maximum distance of a leg length and thereby at most connects to the weld.
- the impact strength of the vehicle restraint system in the region of the post by mechanical weakening of the base plate can be adjusted in a structurally simple manner.
- This under the premise not to affect the properties of the outer weld, which is achievable by the recess at most at the weld connects - and thus does not weaken.
- Such a recess can also be relatively easily introduced into a base plate, whereby the impact resistance of the vehicle restraint system on the criteria of the recess can be reproducibly adjusted.
- this inventive weakening of the base plate in certain areas a hinge-like movement of the post on the base plate are made possible, whereby a peeling of the post and thus a release of the post of the plate can be avoided.
- a loose post end in the event of an impact must therefore not be expected - which among other things hazard potential and risk of injury due to such parts of the vehicle restraint system are avoidable.
- the tearing of the plate also reduces the forces introduced into the substrate in a reproducible manner can be, whereby an anchoring of the vehicle restraint system on solid surfaces, for example on an asphalt, concrete carriageway, etc., only be possible.
- the plate of the post may be a base plate over which the post is attachable to the ground.
- the plate is also conceivable as a foot plate, which attaches the post via another plate, preferably base plate to the ground.
- the construction of the base plate can be simplified if the recess is slit, triangular or sickle-shaped. Furthermore, such a shape of the recess can improve the reliability of the vehicle restraint system - namely, by a hinge-like movement of the post.
- the hinge-like movement of the post to the plate can be predetermined in a structurally simple manner.
- the forces acting in the event of an impact on the post thereby also lead to cracking in the plate, which follows the post sides of the post - which determines the hinge-like movement of the post and thus reproducibly enters the vehicle restraint system.
- the vehicle restraint system according to the invention can therefore be designed in a particularly secure manner.
- a preferred direction in the hinge-like movement of the post may be determined by providing the recess at a post corner of the post.
- the hinge-like movement of the post can be given a preferred direction in the direction of travel when the recess is provided in the, seen in the direction of travel first post corner of the post, which post corner faces the directional lane.
- the vehicle restraint system can also be provided between two directional tracks with opposite directions of travel - and still provide the function described above for each of the directional tracks.
- the vehicle restraint system according to the invention can therefore be on a solid surface, such as a bridge, roadway, directional lane, asphalt pavement, concrete carriageway, etc. are suitable.
- the operability of the post during assembly can be facilitated if the post is arranged centrally of the plate.
- the behavior of the post relative to the plate can be formed angle-independent with respect to the impact direction.
- the possible uses of the vehicle restraint system according to the invention can be increased.
- the plate is rectangular and has mounting holes in its plate corners for mechanical connection to a substrate, the mounting of the post can be easier and the handling of the vehicle restraint system can be improved.
- the manufacture of the vehicle restraint system may be facilitated if the post is attached to the plate. In addition, this can - in contrast to a post used in a recess of the plate - allow a deeper weld in the T-joint, which can lead to a mechanically particularly strong welded joint.
- the cohesive connection between the post and the plate can be formed mechanically particularly strong, when the post is connected to a circumferential weld with the plate.
- the post can always be imposed by such a circumferential weld in the event of an impact, a hinge-like movement - regardless of the impact angle of the vehicle on the vehicle restraint system.
- the vehicle restraint system can have a mechanical connection between the plate and the solid ground.
- an overloading of the mounting base of the vehicle restraint system can be prevented if the first mechanical connection and the material connection of the weld are mechanically stronger (for example in the breaking strength, tensile strength, torsional rigidity, etc.) than the plate.
- the vehicle restraint system according to the invention for a solid surface for example on bridges, asphalt roadway, etc., can be particularly suitable in order to avoid their damage due to the forces introduced by the vehicle restraint system into them.
- a vehicle restraint system 1 is shown with a crash barrier 2.1, 2.2 (shown only schematically), which are each connected to a post 4 via a spacing element 3.1, 3.2, which is also only indicated.
- the post 4 is subsequently cohesively connected to a plate 5 via an outer weld 6, which plate 5 serves as a base plate and the vehicle restraint system 1 attached to a preferably solid surface 7 via a mechanical connection 8.
- This mechanical connection 8 removably secures the plate 5, as shown, for example, to the base 7 - via anchored ground anchors 8.1 and screws 8.2 interacting therewith.
- a connecting element namely the screw 8.2 with a hexagonal head, depending on a circular mounting hole 9, which mounting hole 9 is formed by a spaced from the post 4 recess 10.1 in the plate 5.
- the weld 6 is designed as an isosceles fillet weld with the side length z or a leg length z1 along the plate 5 - what about the Fig. 3 can be removed. However, it is also conceivable to carry out the weld seam 6 as a double fillet weld, HV seam with fillet weld or HY seam with fillet weld, etc., which is not shown.
- the plate 5 has additional recesses 10.2, 10.3, 10.4. These special recesses 10.2, 10.3, 10.4 extend to the weld 6 at least up to a maximum distance from a leg length z, z1 approach, but at the most close to the weld - as in the FIGS. 2 to 4 is recognizable.
- FIG. 3 That's how it shows Fig. 3 in that the crescent-shaped recess 10.2 extends up to and adjoins the weld seam 6, whereas the triangular-shaped recess 10.3 according to FIG Fig. 4 before the weld 6 ends with a distance of a leg length z, z1 or so to the weld 6 exactly with a maximum distance from a leg length z, z1 approaches.
- FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 show therefore the two extremities.
- the recess can also come in the range between the two extreme points of the weld, which has not been shown in detail.
- FIGS. 2 to 4 various forms of the recess 10.2, 10.3, 10.4 are conceivable.
- a slot-shaped recesses 10.4 is conceivable.
- a variant for the latter is in the FIG. 2 shown on the right.
- This recess 10.4 is formed by two adjoining, straight slots 14.1, 14.2, which merge into each other at one of their ends and are at right angles to each other. These can also be relatively easily introduced by a laser cutting process in a plate 5.
- the outer contour 15 of the recesses 10.3 as well as the recess 10.4 in each case from two contour sections 15.1, 15.2 and 15.2, 15.3 is formed.
- These contour sections 15.1, 15.2, 15.3 are parallel to the weld 6 on each post side 4.5, 4.6, 4.7 of the post 4 and thus follow the course 17 of the weld 6 in this area. This can ensure that the plate 5 ruptures in an impact along the post sides 4.5 and 4.6 or 4.6 and 4.7 - which results in the hinge-like movement of the post 4.
- the respective contour sections 15.1, 15.2 or 15.2, 15.3 of the recesses 10.3, 10.4 can be at right angles to one another, as can be seen at the triangular recess 10.3 and at the slot-shaped recesses 10.4 Fig. 2 can be seen.
- the triangular-shaped recess 10.3 in the contour can follow a right-angled triangle.
- the recesses 10.2, 10.3, 10.4 are in each case at the post corners 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 of the rounded post corners 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4 of the post 4 - especially on these areas of the post corners 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 of the post 4th restrict.
- the recesses 10.2 and 10.3 are each provided on the first post corner 4.1 or 4.2 of the post 4 seen in the direction of travel 16.1 or 16.2, which post corner 4.1 or 4.2 faces the directional pathway 70.1 or 70.2 - in this way the crack formation 11 and thus favors the hinge-like movement of the post 4.
- the two recesses 10.2, 10.3 are provided on diagonally opposite post corners 4.1, 4.2 of the post 4, it is possible to use the vehicle restraint system 1 for traffic lanes with two directional lanes 70.1 and 70.2 with opposite directions of travel 16.1 and 16.2 respectively - thus offering a versatile field of application of the vehicle restraint system 1 can be ensured.
- the post 4 is arranged centrally of the rectangular plate 5, which ensures a behavior of the post 4 substantially independent of the impact direction 12. Furthermore, the plate 5 in its plate corners per a mounting hole 9 for a connecting element of the mechanical connection 8.
- the post 4 is also placed on the plate 5, which guarantees a stable cohesive connection or fillet weld. This is especially true in the case where the post 4 is connected to the plate 5 with a circumferential weld 6.
- the post 4 after Fig. 1 and 2 has a closed hollow profile 18, but - although not shown - and open hollow sections, such as a U-profile, C-profile or sigma profile are conceivable.
- the first mechanical connection 8 and the cohesive connection of the weld 6 are mechanically stronger than that of the plate 5.
- the preferably lower breaking strength of the plate 5 relative to the connections connected to this plate 5 can be ensured in that, in the event of an impact, the plate 5 tears parallel to the post sides 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4 or the weld seam 6 in accordance with the specifications of the recesses 10.2, 10.1.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1
- eine Draufsicht auf einen Pfosten des Fahrzeugrückhaltesystems,
- Fig. 2
- eine Detailansicht der
Fig. 1 in vergrößerter Darstellung, - Fig. 3
- eine Schnittansicht nach III-III der
Fig. 2 und - Fig. 4
- eine Schnittansicht nach IV-IV der
Fig. 2 .
Fig. 3 entnommen werden kann.
Fig. 2 zu erkennen ist.
