Claims (9)

  1. Device for transporting and filling bags (1), preferably open-mouth bags, comprising a filling device (2) rotatable about an axis of rotation (10) and having a plurality of filling openings (15) distributed over the circumference of the filling device, wherein a vibrating plate (8) is provided below at least one filling opening (15) for compacting the bulk material in the bags (1), said vibrating plate (8) being inclined outwards as seen from the filling opening, so that filled bags (1) rest on the vibrating plate (8), characterized in that a support element which can be moved towards the filling opening is provided in an end section of the vibrating plate (8) which is remote from the filling opening (15) in order to support a filled bag (1) which rests on the vibrating plate in the bottom region,
    in that a flap (24) which can be pivoted towards the filling opening is provided as support element, and
    in that the flap (24) forms a plane with the support surface of the vibrating plate (8) for the bag (1) in a first position which is folded away from the filling opening.
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the flap (24), in a second position folded towards the filling opening, forms a right angle with the support surface of the vibrating plate (8) for the bag (1).
  3. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the support element can be moved linearly towards the filling opening, in particular parallel to the support surface of the vibrating plate (8).
  4. Device according to claim 3, characterized in that the support surface of the support element encloses a fixed angle, in particular a right angle, with the support surface of the vibrating plate (8).
  5.   6. Method according to claim 5, characterized in that the support element is already transferred to the second position closer to the filling opening during filling of the bag (1).

  8. Method according to claim 7, characterized in that the process according to claim 7 is repeated several times.
