Definitions

  • the invention relates to the field of ringing mechanisms, in particular with a chime, for increasingly horlogerie, in particular for watches.
  • Ringing mechanisms are among the most popular complications in Haute Horlogerie. Their integration into a watch is always a performance.
  • a large chime tone is designed to play a short tune every quarter of an hour, and at full time.
  • a different melody is sounded for every quarter of an hour.
  • the full-time melody results from sequencing the individual melodies of the quarters.
  • An alternative may consist in a higher dimensioning of snails, with modification of their time period. But the space available, depending on other complications, does not always allow such an arrangement.
  • the document EP1416342A1 in the name of NOUVELLE LEMANIA SA describes a timepiece with a bell ring comprising a mobile center making a turn per hour and provided with a first snail and a surprise associated therewith, a second snail, a rack piece pivoting connected to a ringing command and provided with a probe arranged to abut against the second snail when the ringing command is actuated, a surprise jumper to rotate the surprise on the first snail, and a surprise isolator device holding this surprise necklace away from surprise when the rack piece is in rest position.
  • This surprise insulator device comprises a salient element attached to the rack part, and arranged to cooperate with the surprise jumper to remove it from surprise.
  • the document CH704590A2 in the name of MONTRES BREGUET SA describes an isolation mechanism for a timepiece comprising on the one hand a watch movement, and on the other hand at least one striking mechanism comprising temporal information pickup probes, on temporal references driven by said watch movement.
  • This isolation mechanism comprises at least a first insulator, arranged to cooperate with a control mechanism of the timepiece, for, in a first position arming device to take a stop position prohibiting temporal information probing probes to seek the information on time references, and, in a second disarming position, allow the passage of probes to come into contact with the temporal references.
