Definitions
- Container mixers are known that are specially designed for gentle product mixing and flexible accommodation of various mixing containers, for example in the pharmaceutical sector.
- a hydraulic clamping system ensures that the mixing containers are accommodated.
- a PLC and recipe-controlled mixing process enables adaptation to the mixed material.
- the accommodation of different container sizes or adapters for barrels and small containers can be achieved using a clamping beam system.
- the handling functions required are lifting, lowering, turning and swiveling a mixer column. Users expect automatic loading and unloading of this type of mixing technology.
- a chopper should be able to be used in the mixing container.
- a spray system for applying liquids to the mixed material, upstream and downstream weighing technology, metered emptying, an NIR system, etc. must be used. The overall requirement is: reproducible mixing in a closed system.
- well-known mixing containers are made of stainless steel, for example.
- mixing containers in terms of basic dimensions and height, free-standing or floor-ceiling mounted versions.
- the loading of the mixing container can be carried out using state-of-the-art technology using a trolley, hand pallet truck or fully automatic roller conveyor loading and unloading.
- Different container clamping systems from manual to fully automatic, are then used to securely clamp the mixing container into the well-known mixing device.
- a safety enclosure is required depending on the installation location and Process flow is provided.
- a standard oblique alignment to the mixing axis should be achieved after clamping.
- the materials to be mixed reproducibly are often supplied in flexible containers to be transferred into mixing containers.
- Such flexible containers are EP 3 287 376 A1 , WO 2011/144912 A2 , the EN 24 09 125 A1 , the US 5 025 925 A and the US 2009/277 900 A1 disclosed.
- the flexible container in which the material is delivered for mixing should already have certain prerequisites to get started with the inventive idea. It should be able to be clamped into a frame in such a way that at least sections of the flexible container walls take on a defined shape, which the mixing container should have taken on before mixing begins in order to be able to mix reproducibly.
- the idea is to use a flexible container, which is already a storage and transport container, for example, as a mixing container itself, to clamp it in a frame for mixing so that at least almost solid walls and floors are created and mixing in this now at least no longer completely flexible container is a reproducible process.
- This mixing process in solid containers has already been validated several times and this process reliability is retained as a result if, according to the invention, it no longer has to be transferred to a mixing container, but the flexible transport container itself becomes the mixing container.
- the invention proposes, for example, a frame with four identical side parts made of stainless steel sheet.
- the preferably designed flexible container is mounted into the frame from above and firmly clamped in the lower area. This ensures that the mixing process is carried out under similar conditions to the known stainless steel container used as a mixing container.
- a method according to the invention for mixing a bulk material in a flexible container advantageously uses a flexible container and frame according to the invention in order to save overall costs and effort, for example, without sacrificing requirements for reproducibility.
- the inventive embodiment of a frame for receiving the single-use container has roughly triangular-shaped side wall elements which can be rotated around a lower base in the frame are stored.
- the upper free end of the respective side wall element is shaped congruently to accommodate an upper end of the container. It is particularly preferred that four upper free ends be connected as a ring around a flange, which at the same time "holds the container walls taut" by means of the side wall elements designed as clamping surfaces.
- FIG. 1 to 3 An embodiment of a frame 10 according to the invention is shown in the Figures 1 to 3
- the flexible container 20 is shown in two versions, but one version is shown in each of the figures, in the Figures 4 to 6 separately without frame.
- the invention is based on the idea of using such a flexible container 20 as a mixing container for a validated mixing process. Since the flexible container 20 cannot be available in this rigid form on its own and also not after filling, the invention proposes designing points or surfaces on the flexible container 20 in such a way that it can be stretched out at least partially. In this respect, the representations are misleading because when looking at them, one might get the impression that the container 20 is standing in this form without any help. This is not the case.
- the flexible container 20 is clamped into a frame 10.
- At least wall areas are stretched in such a way that, according to the illustrations, flat wall surfaces are assumed by the flexible container 20.
- various tabs can be arranged on the base (see Figure 8), only one in Figure 8 for a better overview. Tabs are preferably attached hanging down to the lower side edges, which have a hole in the middle, for example. These tabs, shown hanging down, could therefore be hung in struts of the frame, not shown.
- the container 20 has at least one docking connection for filling and emptying.
- a coupling element 22 is shown, which in a simple form can simply be a ring. However, such an opening can also be provided not only at the top but also at the bottom.
- the container 20 must be able to be ventilated in a metered manner in order to achieve its desired shape.
- the container 20 preferably has a valve opening or a compressed gas connection. For example, the metering of inert gas is provided.
- the flexible containers 20 according to the invention are to be disposed of. For better control of such waste, targeted vacuuming can be carried out through the above-mentioned openings.
- both the container 20 and the frame are equipped with earthing lugs.
- the illustrated embodiment of the container 20 according to the invention has a square base 24 and truncated triangles as side walls 26 on its sides. Together they form a pyramid shape that is open at the top.
- the invention also includes other shapes, such as spheres or octahedrons, which can be at least partially approximated in their basic shapes by spanning at least partial surfaces of the container 20 according to the invention.
- the flexible container 20 offers a coupling element 22 opposite the base 24.
- the flexible container 20 is connected to the coupling element 22 in a standardized, sealable manner at its opening ends 28 of the side walls 26.
- pockets 25 are formed as longitudinal guides following the connecting lines between the side walls 26.
- Rods of the frame can be inserted into them, preferably when the container 20 is lowered into the frame 10.
- the rods, not shown, are preferably mounted at the bottom so that they can rotate around a strut of the frame. After being inserted, they have free ends at the top which are locked into the coupling element.
- the container 20 is forced into a certain shape solely by means of clamping surfaces of the frame.
- the invention therefore makes it possible to treat bulk materials without further transfer into standardized steel containers.
- the invention mentions the mixing of the bulk material in a flexible container 20, whereby the flexible container 20 is clamped in a frame 10 in order to assume at least almost a defined body shape. The frame 10 is then moved in mixers in the same way as the known rigid mixing containers were clamped.
- Advantageous methods according to the invention provide for a nestling or otherwise stretching of the side walls and/or the bottom of the flexible container 20 to form flat partial surfaces.

Description
EP 3 287 376 A1 ,WO 2011/144912 A2 , derDE 24 09 125 A1 , derUS 5 025 925 A und derUS 2009/277 900 A1 offenbart.
