- Such masts can be designed as einschüssiges mast (so-called single mast) with a stationary mast, in which a load-receiving means, such as a fork carriage, as a liftable and lowerable mast component can be raised and lowered.
- a load-receiving means such as a fork carriage
- Such masts can also be designed as a multi-arm mast, for example as a duplex mast, which consists of a stationary mast and a liftable and lowerable mast, or as a triplex mast, which consists of a fixed mast and two liftable and lowerable masts, or quadruple Mast, consisting of a fixed mast and three liftable and lowerable extension masts.
- a load-carrying means can be raised and lowered in the extension mast.
- a duplex mast a triplex mast and a quad mast
- the extension mast and the load handler form a liftable and lowerable component of the mast.
- the mast sections of known masts formed by the stand mast and the extension mast are formed by two laterally spaced vertical mast profiles, which are connected to one another by means of a plurality of transverse struts.
- masts is at least one lifting cylinder and at least one traction means is provided for raising and lowering the liftable and lowerable mast component, for example, the at least one extension mast and / or the load receiving means.
- one or more lifting cylinders are used for lifting the Ausfahrmastes relative to the stationary mast.
- the liftable in the extension mast and lowered load-receiving means is raised by means of one or more traction means.
- the traction means is fastened here with a first end to the load-receiving means. With the second end of the traction means is mounted in known masts to the stationary mast and is guided and deflected over a pulley in the upper region of the extension mast.
- Such masts are used in industrial trucks, such as counterbalance forklifts, to accommodate and settle loads with the liftable load-carrying means at higher heights, for example, in shelves of a rack warehouse.
- trucks such as counterbalance forklifts
- the lighting conditions are often not optimal. It is therefore known to provide a lighting device for the truck, with a work area can be illuminated.
- a known embodiment of such a lighting device consists of forwardly focused on the work area headlights, which are grown, for example, in the upper region of the front of a driver's roof of the truck and / or directly above the front wheels in front of the driver's roof on the truck.
- the attachment is made such that an impairment of visibility is minimized.
- due to the size of the headlights an additional obstruction and limitation of the visibility of the operator of the truck through the mast through on the load-carrying means, since the mounted piggyback in the field of view of the operator are on the load-carrying means.
- the width of the headlights is greater than the width of the spars of the driver's roof, so that obstructions and limitations of the view of the load-carrying means arise at angles of view upwards and downwards by said arrangement of the headlights.
- the mast itself with a lighting device and for this purpose to arrange one or more headlights as a lighting device directly on the mast, for example, grow at the upper end of the mast.
- the cultivation of headlamps on the mast itself for example, at the upper end of the mast, in addition to the already existing obstructions causing components of the mast the visibility of the operator of the truck through the mast on the Lifting device further deteriorated as another obstacle lying in the field of view.
