Definitions
- the present invention relates to the general field of building insulation, in particular in the context of the use of a household appliance of the mobile air conditioner or dryer type.
- the invention relates to an insulation device intended to be positioned at an opening of a building of the door or window type.
- the invention also relates to a method for installing an insulation device at an opening of a building of the door or window type.
- portable air conditioners that is, a household appliance capable of cooling a room by discharging hot air from it without being attached to the building
- portable air conditioners that is, a household appliance capable of cooling a room by discharging hot air from it without being attached to the building
- these mobile household appliances that is to say transportable, are today at an affordable price and have many advantages which mean that they are increasingly chosen by consumers, especially when faced with an installation of fixed air conditioning.
- these mobile devices do not require heavy work, at least no work comparable to a fixed air conditioning installation (installation of ducts, installation of a condenser outside, installation of an evaporator in each of the rooms, etc. .), for a very good compromise between comfort and investment.
- These mobile air conditioning devices generally satisfy their users, at least in terms of comfort, by making it possible to reduce the temperature of the room in which it is located by several degrees during hot summer periods.
- a first solution consists in making a hole through the wall, a window or a door in order to pass the extraction pipe between the interior of the building and the exterior.
- the making of this hole is generally a complex operation, requiring the intervention of a professional (mason, glazier, carpenter, etc. ) and which will generate structural, functional and visual modifications to the building. Consequently, many people, and in particular tenants, cannot undertake such work or do not wish to undertake such work.
- this hole constitutes a break in the insulation of the building (particularly when it is made through a wall), so that it is preferable to plug the latter when the appliance is not in use.
- the solution generally adopted by the users of these devices consists simply of passing the extraction pipe through a window (or a door), which implies to leave the latter ajar. But, by leaving the window open, or at least sufficiently ajar to allow the passage of the extraction pipe, the user will allow the calories from the warmer outside air to enter the interior of the building, even though the The goal is to extract the calories from inside the building.
- the document DE- 20 2008 016773 U1 describes a cover for a tilted or open window implementing an accordion structure.
- the objects assigned to the present invention therefore aim to remedy the various drawbacks listed above and to propose a new insulation device which can be positioned easily and quickly on different types of openings in a building (of the door or window type). and which is particularly easy to use, inexpensive while providing effective insulation.

- the invention relates as such to a thermal insulation device 1.
- the main function of the device which is the subject of the invention is to isolate one element from another, and at least from a thermal point of view.
- said device 1 can advantageously also make it possible to carry out other insulations, such as for example sound or visual insulation, or else insulation against particles, such as dust, pollen, water or else. insulation against insects.
- said device 1 is intended to be positioned at the level of an opening 2 of a building, that is to say that the device 1 is designed to be located, during its normal use, on, in, or against an opening of a building.
- said opening 2 is of the door or window or French window type
- said building can equally well be an individual dwelling (for example a house), a collective dwelling (for example a building), a public building. (a school, an auditorium, a restaurant, etc.) or a professional building (workshop, garage, etc.).
- said opening 2 is made through a wall 6 of said building, thus defining in particular and in a manner well known as such a table 21 and a lintel 22.
- said opening 2 can also be made through the roof of a building, whether the latter is a flat roof (of the roof terrace type) or inclined (of the tiled roof type), and can then for example constitute a window of roof.
- Said opening 2 is preferably rectangular in shape, like most doors and windows that a building may have and its width W2 is preferably between 30 cm and 140 cm, while its height H2 is preferably between 40 cm and 250 cm .
- said device 1 is intended to be positioned according to a so-called “panel ” installation mode, that is to say that the device 1 is positioned inside the panel 21 (or the frame). of said opening 2, for example of a window.
- panel installation mode
- the device 1 can also be installed according to a so-called “ front ” installation mode, that is to say over said opening 2, it is the advantageous so-called “ panel ” installation mode which will be described below.
- said device 1 comprises an insulation curtain 13, as shown in the various figures.
- insulation curtain is preferably understood to mean a mobile element whose main function is to isolate a first space from another space, from a thermal point of view as specified previously.
- said curtain 13 itself comprises a flexible screen 131, (or a flexible blind) as can be seen for example on the figure 1 .
- said flexible screen 131 is of substantially rectangular shape and may for example consist of a panel of flexible, flanged material, such as a canvas, or a tarpaulin of natural or synthetic material (PVC, preferably coated fabric, etc.) .
- the thickness of said screen 131 is designed to give said screen 131 an excellent compromise between flexibility, mechanical strength and insulation, and may for example be between a few tens of microns and 1 mm.
- said flexible screen 131 is formed by a plurality of elementary blades having a certain rigidity, sufficient to configure them with their own mechanical strength, these elementary blades being articulated to each other, so as to confer a generally flexible, flexible character, said screen 113 thus obtained.
- the dimensions of said screen 131 can advantageously be selected from a wide range, so as to allow said device 1 to be compatible with a plurality of different openings (ranging from a small window to a door, or even a French window).
- the width W131 of said screen 131 (which then corresponds substantially to the width of said curtain 13) is between 30 cm and 140 cm while its height is between 40 cm and 250 cm.
- the flexible screen 131 is formed of a plastic cover (for example transparent PVC) of substantially rectangular shape, the width of said cover corresponding substantially to the width W2 of said opening 2 while that the length of said cover corresponds substantially to the height H2 of said opening 2.
- a plastic cover for example transparent PVC
- Said flexible screen 131 forms a barrier to air, and advantageously to other elements such as, by way of illustration and not limited to, water, UV (ultra-violet rays), insects, pollens, etc. .
- said screen 131 can be entirely transparent, that is to say that one can see through, opaque (that is to say that the light can pass through but without that one can see through), reflective (like a mirror), tinted with a particular color or even blackout (light does not pass through).
- said flexible screen 131 is tight (or impermeable), for example to air or to water, over at least 90% of its surface, providing an anti-reflux function to said insulation device 1, the hot air and potentially humid evacuated by said air discharge pipe which cannot pass through said screen 131 to return, for example, to the room of a house which one seeks to cool, when said curtain 13 is in the deployed position.
- said flexible screen 131 is non-perforated and waterproof (or impermeable) over its entire surface.
- said screen 131 has two faces, an inner face intended to be oriented towards the interior of the building and an outer face intended to be oriented towards the outside, which include different treatments and / or appearances, such as, for example, an anti-UV and mirror-effect treatment for the exterior face while the interior face does not have any particular treatment, which thus makes it possible to see through said screen 131 from the interior to the exterior but not from the 'exterior to interior, thus ensuring an outstanding privacy function.
- a user of the device 1 to benefit from a plurality of functions, such as for example reinforced thermal insulation (anti-UV treatment), visual insulation ( opaque treatment) while maintaining good brightness (the light passes through the screen in question).
- a plurality of functions such as for example reinforced thermal insulation (anti-UV treatment), visual insulation ( opaque treatment) while maintaining good brightness (the light passes through the screen in question).
- said device 1 comprises a passage 132 formed through said flexible screen 131, as illustrated in particular by figure 1 .
- said passage 132 comprises a hole, a lumen or even a notch made through said screen 131 so as to locally break the insulation of the latter.
- said passage 132 comprises an orifice, advantageously formed through the flexible screen, preferably in the vicinity of a free end of the latter, said orifice being of substantially circular section, the diameter of which is between 80 mm and 150 mm, and advantageously between 110 mm and 130 mm.
- the diameter of said passage 132 is adapted according to the one or more standard diameters used by manufacturers of household appliances for the air extractor pipes of the household appliances in question.
- said passage 132 is located near (for example between 10 mm and 100 mm) a lower corner of said screen 131 (the lower corners being the corners of said screen located at the bottom when the latter is in a vertical position at the level of the opening 2), so as to be located close to a lower corner of said opening 2.
- said curtain 13 comprises a reinforcement 133 disposed near said passage 132 and extending over the entire width of said screen 131 designed to locally increase (advantageously near said passage 132) the rigidity, and advantageously the transverse rigidity (i.e. that is to say along the width W131), of said flexible screen 131.
- said reinforcement 133 comprises a bar, for example metallic, attached to said screen 131 over the entire width W131 of the latter.
- said reinforcement 133 comprises two bars intended to cooperate with each other in order to be attached to either side of said screen 131, for example by means of clips, so as to “ sandwich ” said flexible screen 131 over its entire width, in order to locally increase its rigidity.
- said reinforcement 133 is therefore mounted on the screen 131 and forms an integral part of said curtain 13.
- said reinforcement 133 is particularly important when the width W131 of the flexible screen 131 is substantial, that is to say for example greater than 50 cm.
- said reinforcement 133 is located a few centimeters (for example between 1 cm and 10 cm, and preferably 3 cm) above said passage 132.
- the length L133 of said reinforcement is substantially equal to the width W131 of said screen 131, as can be seen on the figure. figure 1 and the height H133 of said reinforcement 133 is substantially between 5 mm and 20 mm, while the thickness of said reinforcement 133 is advantageously less than 5 mm.
- At least said curtain 13 is made of cuttable material (s) (for example aluminum, PVC, etc.) so as to be able to substantially adjust its dimensions to those of said opening 2.
- the various elements constituting said curtain 13, and in particular, said flexible screen 131 and possibly said reinforcement 133 are designed to be able to be easily cut by the user so that their dimensions (more precisely the width W131 of said screen 131 and the length L133 of said reinforcement 133), correspond to the dimensions, and particularly to the width W2, with a slight operating play (advantageously less than 2 cm for example), of said opening 2 on which the user wishes to install said device 1 , as illustrated by figure 1 .
- said curtain 13 is designed to move between its deployed position and its retracted position by deploying or retracting in at least one main direction of extension, for example to adapt to a dimension of said opening 2 (in the embodiment shown in the figures, this dimension corresponds to the height H2 of said opening 2).
- Said curtain 13 (and preferably at least said screen 131) is advantageously made of cuttable material (s) so as to be able to substantially adjust its dimension in at least one direction substantially perpendicular to said main direction of extension, for example according to the width W131 of said screen 131.
- said screen 131 is flexible and designed to be folded or rolled up at least according to said main direction of extension.
- said curtain 13 is designed to move between an extended position in which said curtain 13 closes said opening 2 so as to isolate the interior of the building from the outside and a retracted position in which said curtain 13 releases said opening 2.
- the figures 1 and 2 illustrate for example the curtain 13 in its deployed position, while the figures 3 and 4 illustrate for example the curtain 13 in retracted positions (more specifically, a retracted position and a fully retracted position, as will be detailed later).
- said passage 132 is designed to be connected to an air discharge pipe of a household appliance of the air conditioner or dryer type, or of any other household appliance which would have an extraction pipe. air that needs to be blown outside the building, as described above.
- the expression “connected to ” is preferably understood in the widest possible sense, that is to say that a connection between said passage 132 and said pipe can include, in an illustrative and non-limiting manner, different types of connections. mechanical, such as a slide link, a pivot or pivot-slide link, etc. or an interlocking, or even a connection made by means of a particular socket or connector.
- said passage 132 and said pipe of the household appliance are intended to cooperate together.
- said pipe passes through said screen 131 by virtue of said passage 132.
- said passage 132 performs a function of guiding and preferably of holding said pipe, for example by preventing the latter from moving.
- Said passage 132 then preferably constitutes a housing for said pipe of the household appliance within said screen 131.
- Said passage 132 and said pipe are connected to each other when the curtain 13 is deployed so as to allow the air to escape from the building while preserving the insulation.
- said passage 132 and said pipe are connected to each other, so as to preserve the insulation of the building, while allowing said household appliance to extract the air outside the building.
- Said device 1 further comprises a drum 113 around which said curtain 13 is intended to be wound when it is in the retracted position.
- said drum 113 comprises a hollow bar, and preferably a tube as can be seen on the figure. figure 5 , whose length L113 is substantially equal to the width W131 of said screen 131 and whose outer diameter is substantially between 10 mm and 80 mm.
- Said drum 113 is mounted to rotate about a substantially horizontal axis of rotation X-X ', or at least parallel to the lintel 22 of said opening 2.
- the flexible screen 131 extends between a first edge attached to said drum 113 and a second free edge.
- Said first edge of the screen 131 is advantageously fixed, preferably over its entire width W131 (for example by a method known as gluing, folding, sewing, etc.), to the drum 113, so as to be able to wind said screen 131 around the drum 113 by rotation of the latter around its axis of rotation X-X ', and conversely to unwind said screen 131, that is to say to unwind it from the drum 113, as illustrated for example the figures 2 to 4 .
- said screen 131 when said curtain 13 is in its retracted position, said screen 131 is mostly wound around said drum 113, so that a multitude of thicknesses of said screen 131 are around said drum 113, such as illustrate the figures 3 and 4 . Conversely, when said curtain 13 is in its deployed position, said screen 131 is mostly unrolled, so that there are only a few thicknesses of screens 131 around said drum 113, as illustrated by figure 2 .
- the drum 113 is equipped with a return spring 114, which is preferably a torsion spring advantageously located inside said drum 113, this return spring 114 making it possible to permanently force the drum 113 so as to subject the flexible screen 131, through its first edge attached to the drum 113, to an elastic return force (in this case an elastic return torque) thus advantageously avoiding the formation of folds on said screen 131.
- a return spring 114 which is preferably a torsion spring advantageously located inside said drum 113, this return spring 114 making it possible to permanently force the drum 113 so as to subject the flexible screen 131, through its first edge attached to the drum 113, to an elastic return force (in this case an elastic return torque) thus advantageously avoiding the formation of folds on said screen 131.
- the drum 133 optionally comprises advantageously a locking means (not shown in the figures) in order to maintain said curtain 13 in its deployed position.
- a locking means may for example comprise a freewheel, or any other ratchet and / or pawl system, which makes it possible, on the one hand, to unwind and wind up said screen 131 and to lock it in place.
- a rotary drum 113 is absolutely not compulsory, and it is quite possible to consider using alternative means.
- said drum 113 is rotatably mounted in a box 11, as illustrated for example by the figures 2 to 5 .
- said box 11 is intended to be positioned under the lintel 22 of said opening 2, for example by means of various fixing holes 116, as illustrated on the figure. figure 5 .
- said box 11 comprises a main casing 111 for example of substantially parallelepipedal shape inside which the various elements described above, and in particular, the drum 113, the spring 114, and the curtain 13 when the latter is in its position. retracted position, can be accommodated (or stored).
- said main casing 111 comprises a slot 117 advantageously produced over its entire length as illustrated by figure 5 designed to allow the passage of said curtain 13 through said casing 111 and thus allow its winding around said drum 113.
- the length L11 of said box 11 is substantially equal, or at least slightly greater by a few millimeters, than the width W131 of said screen 131, and also corresponds substantially to the width W2 of said opening 2.
- the profile of the box 11 is substantially a square. the side of which is substantially between 10 cm and 30 cm in size, thus defining its height H11.
- the dimension of this side is less than or equal to the thickness T21 of table 21 of said opening 2 so as not to protrude from the latter and therefore not to exceed the thickness of the wall 6 of the building, when said device 1 is laid out " in table ".
- This functionality thus allows the user to be able to use the various elements normally, namely for example the window 3 and the shutter 4, of its opening 2, and this even in the presence of the device 1 as illustrated for example by the figures 2 to 4 .
- said box 11 also comprises lateral flanges 112a, 112b intended to close said main casing 111.
- said flanges 112a, 112b comprise elements for guiding in rotation 118 (for example lugs, housings, bearings, etc. .) so as to constitute the axis of rotation XX 'of said drum 113, for example by being designed to penetrate inside the drum 113.
- said box 11 is advantageously designed to accommodate said reinforcement 133 when said curtain 13 is in its retracted position, as can be seen on the figures. figures 3 and 4 .
- the slot 117 is then advantageously designed to allow the passage of said reinforcement 133.
- the box 11 is made of cuttable material (s) (for example aluminum, PVC, etc.) so as to be able to adjust its dimensions to those of said opening 2.
- the different elements constituting said box 11, and in particular, said main casing 111 and said drum 113 are designed to be able to be easily cut by the user so that their dimensions, and particularly their respective lengths L11, L113, correspond to the dimensions, and particularly to the width W2 of said opening 2 on which the user wishes to install said device 1.
- said return spring 114 is positioned so as not to be cut, for example at one end of said drum 113, said end then being advantageously identified, for example by means of a marking, such as an end not to be cut.
- only one of the two side flanges 112a, 112b is removable (for example by means of screws), so as to be able to adjust the length L11 of said box 11 in the advantageous manner described above, the flange 112b being located on the side of said end not to be cut being fixed.
- said box 11 comprises a first box seal (not shown in the figures), which advantageously comprises a brush seal extending over the entire length L11 of said box 11, intended to be positioned between said box 11 and said curtain 13 so as to provide a barrier (to air, water, insects or other particles) and thus to optimize the insulation of said device 1.
- said first trunk seal is attached to said slot 117 so as to prevent air and / or water and / or any other element from entering inside said housing 111.
- said box 11 comprises a second box seal (not shown in the figures), which advantageously comprises a lip seal extending over the entire length L11 of said box 11, intended to be positioned between said box 11 and lintel 22 so as to provide a barrier (to air, water, insects or other particles) and thus to optimize the efficiency of the insulation of said device 1.
- a second box seal (not shown in the figures), which advantageously comprises a lip seal extending over the entire length L11 of said box 11, intended to be positioned between said box 11 and lintel 22 so as to provide a barrier (to air, water, insects or other particles) and thus to optimize the efficiency of the insulation of said device 1.
- Said device 1 further comprises a guide path 12a, 12b intended to be attached to said opening 2, and preferably to the table 21 of the latter, and advantageously to the vertical and parallel parts of said table 21, as illustrated for example by the figures 2 to 4 .
- said guide path 12a, 12b is attached, or fixed, to said opening 2 in a removable manner, by example using known fixing means, such as screws and plugs, advantageously in such a way as not to interfere with the hinges 5 which generally equip the opening 2.
- said guide path 12a, 12b is stationary and can therefore constitute a frame or a chassis of said isolation device 1.
- said guide path 12a, 12b is designed to guide said curtain 13 between its deployed position and its retracted position.
- said curtain 13 and said guide path 12a, 12b constitute a mechanical connection making it possible to impart movement to said curtain 13 while said guide path 12a, 12b is fixed.
- the connection thus produced between these two elements is a connection of the slide type, that is to say that said curtain 13 is able to slide or slide inside or around the guide path 12a, 12b, like the show the different figures.
- the movement produced by said curtain 13 within said fixed guide path 12a, 12b is a vertical translation.
- the various elements included in said curtain 13, and in particular the flexible screen 131 and the reinforcement 133, are designed to move along said guide path 12a, 12b as the deployment or retraction of the curtain 13, when the latter moves between its deployed and retracted positions defined above.
- said guide path 12a, 12b is at least partially covered with a material intended to limit friction, such as for example polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), so as to facilitate the movement of said curtain 13.
- a material intended to limit friction such as for example polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), so as to facilitate the movement of said curtain 13.
- the length L12 of the guide path 12a, 12b is of the same order of magnitude as the height H2 of the opening 2, and is, in the preferred case where the device 1 comprises a box 11 as defined above, substantially equal at the height H2 of said opening 2 minus the height H11 of said box 11.
- said guide path 12a, 12b comprises two parallel and mutually opposed elements intended to be each attached to each of the vertical parts of the table 21 of the opening 2.
- the guide path 12a, 12b, or at least one of its elements 12a, 12b is located near (for example between 10 mm and 100 mm and advantageously at 50 mm) of said passage 132, so as to guarantee the rigidity of said flexible screen 131 when said pipe passes through the latter.
- the guide path 12a, 12b comprises two hollow rails (or slides, or slides) opposite and parallel inside which is intended to slide said curtain 13, said rails being designed to be attached to the table 21 of said opening 2, by example by means of screws and dowels and a plurality of fixing slots 122 made in said rails, as can be seen in the figure 7 .
- said rails are U-shaped (for example aluminum) profiles, said curtain 13 can then easily slide inside the latter, in particular with a view to guaranteeing on the one hand its maintenance and on the other hand its good winding around said drum 113.
- each of said rails is then for example between 5 mm and 40 mm while the depth D12 is for example between 5 mm and 40 mm, so as to guarantee a good compromise between guiding said curtain 13 and facilitate the movement of the latter.
- said screen 131 as well as said reinforcement 133 are designed to slide inside said rails, and particularly inside the U of the latter.
- said rails comprise a fixing slot 122 and advantageously a plurality of fixing slots 122 regularly distributed over the entire length L12 of said rails, as can be seen in the figure. figure 7 , so as to allow these to be fixed to table 21 of opening 2.
- said guide path 12a, 12b comprises blocking means intended to block the movement of said curtain 13, for example to prevent the latter from rolling up. automatically under the effect of the spring 114.
- Said locking means may for example comprise a locking lug 123, as can be seen on the figures 7 and 8 and which forces the user to perform a horizontal pulling movement in order to release said curtain 13 so that the latter can move towards its retracted position.
- said device 1 comprises a box 11
- the latter advantageously comprises assembly means 115 intended to cooperate with said guide path 12a, 12b, so as to make said box 11 and said guide path 12ab integral, 12b.
- said assembly means 115 is a means designed to allow a temporary assembly, that is to say removable between said box 11 and said guide path 12a, 12b, and is advantageously integrated into said side flanges 112a, 112b, as we can see on the figure 5 .
- said assembly means 115 may comprise two assembly pastes each integrated into one of the side flanges 112a, 112b and intended to be inserted inside said hollow rails defined above, which allows an assembly between the box 11 and the guide path 12a, 12b which is removable, reliable, quick and easy.
- said device 1 comprises rail seals 121 intended to be respectively interposed between each rail and said curtain 13, said seals 121 being in particular designed to constitute a barrier, in particular vis- against water, air or other elements (insects, dust, etc.).
- said gaskets 121 can comprise gaskets called brush gaskets which comprise a plurality of bristles, thus allowing them to provide a barrier against different elements (including air) while being flexible and deformable. in order to guarantee and facilitate the movement of said curtain 13 inside said rails, as can be seen for example on the figures 7 and 8 .
- each hollow rail comprises a pair of rail joints attached to each of the main uprights of said hollow rails, as can be seen in the figures cited above.
- the curtain 13 comprises a reinforcement 133 as defined above.
- said reinforcement 133 can easily evolve, at the same time as said screen 131, within said rails, and the flexibility of said brush seals can remarkably ensure a good seal, by deforming locally around said reinforcement 13.
- the guide path 12a, 12b is made of cuttable material (s) (for example aluminum, PVC, rubber, bristles, etc.) so as to be able to adjust its dimensions to those of said opening 2.
- cuttable material for example aluminum, PVC, rubber, bristles, etc.
- the respective 121 are designed to be easily cut by the user so that their dimensions, and particularly their respective lengths L12, correspond to the dimensions, and particularly to the height H2 of said opening 2 on which the user wishes to install said device 1. It will naturally be appropriate for the user to reduce the length L12 of said guide path 12a, 12b by the height value H11 of said box if the device 1 is provided therewith, as can be seen in the various figures.
- a plurality of fixing slots 122 regularly distributed within said rails makes it possible to guarantee a possibility of fixing the latter to the table 21 regardless of the length L12 of said rails.
- the width W131 of said screen 131 (which corresponds, in the embodiment illustrated in the figures, substantially to the width of said curtain 13) is adjusted substantially (advantageously during cutting of the latter) to the width W2 of the opening 2 minus the thickness of said guide path 12a, 12b, as shown in the various figures. More precisely, in the case where the guide path 12a, 12b comprises rails, the thickness of the latter is deduced from the width W2 of the opening.
- said device 1 comprises a sleeve 15 designed to be connected on the one hand with said passage 132 and on the other hand with said discharge pipe, and designed to maintain and / or guide said pipe through of said flexible screen 131.
- said sleeve 15 is also designed to protect the curtain 13 from the heat emitted by the air extractor pipe, and thus constitutes a thermal insulator between said pipe and said curtain 13.
- said sleeve 15 comprises a tube, for example a rigid PVC tube, the diameter of which is selected from the standard diameters used by the manufacturers of the household appliances mentioned above, such as for example 125 mm. More precisely, the inside diameter of said tube is designed to allow the passage of said air extractor pipe, while the outside diameter of said tube is designed to correspond to the diameter of said passage 132.
- the thickness of said tube is less than 5 mm and its length L15 is between 15 mm and 75 mm and is advantageously equal to 50 mm.
- said sleeve 15 is positioned such that its length L15 is equally distributed on either side of the screen 131, as can be seen in the figures. figures 2 and 3 .
- the length L15 of said sleeve 15 is determined or adjusted so as to be less than the thickness T21 of table 21 of said opening 2 and is advantageously less than or equal to the width of said box 11, so as not to protrude from the table 21 and therefore the thickness of wall 6 of the building.
- This functionality thus allows the user to be able to normally use the various opening elements, namely for example window 3 and shutter 4, of its opening 2, and this even in the presence of device 1 as illustrated for example by the figures 2 to 4 .
- said device is therefore located inside the panel 21 of the opening 2, so as to be interposed between the various opening elements (the window 3 and the shutter 4) of the said opening 2.
- said isolation device 1 is in this embodiment designed to be mounted "in" said opening 2, so that it is possible, whatever the position of said curtain 13 (deployed or retracted, or even partially extended / retracted), to close at least one opening associated with the frame of said opening 2, for example a window, a door or a shutter.
- said sleeve 15 is removable, that is to say that it can be assembled or dismantled at will from said passage 132.
- This feature allows the curtain 13 the remarkable feature of being able to be completely wound around the drum 113 , and advantageously be fully included inside the box 11 when said curtain 13 is in its retracted position, as illustrated for example by figure 4 .
- Such an arrangement of the device 1 will then be particularly useful for the user, for example when the latter seeks to benefit from maximum clearance from its opening 2 (for example to pass bulky objects) or when he knows that he does not '' will not use the isolation device 1 during a substantial period of time (for example the winter period in the case of use with a mobile air conditioner).
- the user will have to quickly disconnect and then reconnect the air extractor hose of his air conditioner, before either closing the window (to limit the risk of burglary when the user is away) , or to roll up the curtain 13 (when he wishes to ventilate the room for a few moments), so that it is preferable for him to leave the sleeve 15 in place.
- said curtain 13 releases, in particular when said sleeve 15 is left in place, at least 60% of said opening 2, more preferably at least 70% of said opening 2 , even more preferably at least 80% of said opening 2, and even more advantageously at least 90% of said opening 2.
- said opening 2 cleared 90% by said curtain 13 may correspond to a configuration where said screen 131 is wound 90% around said drum 113 inside said box 11, said passage 132 (connected or not with said sleeve 15) being then located near the upper part of the board of said opening 2, in the case where the isolation device 1 is arranged in said board 21 (or embrasure) of said opening 2, where said passage 132 is made through the flexible screen 131 at the very bottom of said screen 131 (more precisely in the lowest 10% of said screen 131, in the case where the screen unfolds vertically).
- said curtain 13 is designed to move between a fully extended position where it constitutes the only movable element completely closing said opening 2, with the exception of said passage 132, and a partially retracted position in which said curtain 13 releases at least 80 %, even more preferably at less 90% of said opening 2, or else a fully retracted position in which said curtain 13 releases substantially the entire opening.
- said sleeve 15 comprises a grid, such as for example a mosquito net, disposed radially inside said sleeve 15 so as to prevent insects from entering inside said pipe through the passage 132 made within said curtain 13.
- a grid such as for example a mosquito net
- said sleeve 15 comprises a non-return valve arranged inside said sleeve 15 so as to prevent outside air (but also rain, dust and other pollens) from entering inside said pipe when the latter is when stopped, i.e. does not evacuate air, thus optimizing the thermal insulation of device 1.
- said device 1 further comprises a base 14 attached to a free end of said flexible screen 131 which preferably extends over the entire width W131 of said screen 131.
- the length L14 of said base 14 is therefore substantially equal to the width W131 of said screen.
- flexible screen 131 is formed by a bar, called a load bar, for example metallic (preferably aluminum), preferably of rectangular section.
- said base 14 is intended to interact punctually with said locking means, and advantageously with said locking lug 123, as illustrated in figures 1 and 2 , so as to ensure that said curtain 13 is held in position in its deployed position or, on the contrary, not to interact with said locking means, as illustrated in figures 3 and 4 to allow movement of said curtain 13, for example so that the latter can regain its retracted position.
- said rails each include a locking lug 123
- a horizontal traction for example preferably in the direction of the interior of the building to allow said base 14 to no longer be in contact with said locking lug 123, and thus allow the winding of said curtain 13, in particular under the effect of the return spring 114.
- said base 14 is attached to said flexible screen 131 by means of a fixing ring 144 around which said free end of flexible screen 131 is wound, and which is inserted into an assembly groove 143 included in said base. 14, as shown in figure 6 .
- said groove 143 for example made in a dovetail shape, makes it possible to insert (preferably by sliding from the side edge) said assembly ring 144 and said flexible screen 131 to the inside said groove 143, while offering the assembly thus produced a high mechanical resistance to traction.
- said base 14 is located near said passage 132 (for example between 10 mm and 80 mm of said passage 132, and advantageously substantially 30 mm below the latter), so as to guarantee the rigidity of said flexible screen 131 when said pipe passes through the latter.
- said base is designed to slide along or around or inside said guide path 12a, 12b, as can for example be seen on the figures 1 to 4 .
- said base 14 is then designed to slide inside the U, for example by comprising lugs (or brackets, not shown in the figures) guide located at the ends of said base 14, or else being of a thickness less than the dimension of said U, then allowing it to fit at least partially inside said rail.
- said passage 132 is provided between said base 14 and said reinforcement 133, so as to be located in a zone where the flexibility of the screen 131 is reduced by the presence of these elements.
- said passage 132 is provided between said base 14 and said reinforcement 133, so as to be located in a zone where the flexibility of the screen 131 is reduced by the presence of these elements.
- said base 14 comprises a base gasket 141 intended to come into contact with the panel 21 of the opening 2, and more precisely with the lower horizontal part of said panel 21, or even in a particularly advantageous manner with the support shelf of said opening 2, so as to offer the insulation device 1 an excellent seal, as illustrated for example by the figures 1 and 2 .
- said base seal 141 comprises a lip seal and / or a brush seal which extends over the entire length L14 of said base 14.
- said base 14 comprises a gripping element 142 designed so that a user can maneuver said curtain 13 in order to make it move between its deployed position and its retracted position, or vice versa between its retracted position and its deployed position.
- said gripping element 142 comprises one or more of the following elements: a handle, an operating rope, a lug, etc.
- said gripping element 142 consists of two oblong hollow handles located on either side of a maneuvering rope.
- the oblong hollow handles will be advantageously used when the curtain 13 is in its deployed position and the user wishes to make it move towards its folded position (that is to say when the curtain 13 is at the bottom and when the user wants to raise it, for example to free said opening 2).
- the operating rope will be advantageously used when the curtain 13 is in its retracted position and the user wishes to make it move towards its deployed position (that is to say when the curtain 13 is at the top and that the user wishes to lower it, and thus obscure said opening 2, for example to be able to install the air extractor pipe of his air conditioner), insofar as the latter makes it possible to be grasped by the user even if the base 14 is unreachable.
- the height H14 of said base 14 is sufficient to allow said base 14 to comprise at least one gripping element 142, the assembly ring 144 and the base seal 141 defined previously, as illustrated for example by figure 6 .
- said height H14 is for example between 10 mm and 50 mm.
- the base 14 is made of cuttable material (s) (for example aluminum, PVC, rubber, etc.) so as to be able to adjust its dimensions to those of said opening 2
- cuttable material for example aluminum, PVC, rubber, etc.
- the various elements constituting said base 14, and in particular, its seal 141 and its assembly ring 144 are designed to be able to be easily cut by the user so that their dimensions, and particularly their respective lengths L14, L144, correspond substantially to the dimensions, and particularly to the width W2 (minus the thickness of said guide path 12a, 12b and with a slight functional play), of said opening 2 on which the user wishes to install said device. insulation 1.
- the length L14 of the base 14 is advantageously adjusted to the width W131 of said screen 131.
- the device 1 comprises a box 11
- the latter is advantageously designed to accommodate, at least partially, said base 14 when the curtain 13 is in the retracted position and when the sleeve 15 is not present. , as we can see on the figure 4 .
- this feature allows said opening 2 to be released as much as possible when the user does not wish to use the device 1.
- the curtain 13 then being completely retracted inside the box 11 and said base 14 also being retracted inside the box 11. less partially, the discretion of the device 1 is improved to the extent that only the box 11 and the guide path 12a, 12b remain visible.
- said base 14 is designed to be able to partially, but not completely, be retracted inside the box 11, so as to be able to be at least partially invisible while nevertheless allowing the user to grip the gripping element. 142, which must not be concealed inside the safe 11 in order to guarantee a future redeployment of the curtain 13.
- a simple insulation device 1 which is based on reliable, standard and inexpensive mechanical components (essentially a tarpaulin, tubes, profiles, bars, etc.) and which makes it possible to '' provide good thermal insulation, when you want to pass an air extractor pipe from a household appliance (for example a mobile air conditioner, or a dryer without condenser) through an opening 2 (for example a window), insofar as, in summer, the hot air from outside cannot enter the interior of the room cooled by the air conditioner, while in winter, the cold air cannot cannot fit inside the room where the dryer is located, said isolation device 1 forming a barrier, while allowing said pipe to pass.
- a household appliance for example a mobile air conditioner, or a dryer without condenser
- an opening 2 for example a window
- the product makes it possible in particular to use a mobile air conditioner in summer, without carrying out major work (masonry, glassware, etc.) normally necessary to allow the passage of the appliance's extraction pipe.
- thermally insulated It thus allows the use of the device by opening a window in order to pass the extraction pipe while thermally insulating the interior of the room (where the air conditioner is located) from the outside.
- the insulation device 1 is partially removable (for example by being rollable) which makes it possible to find all the functions of the window when the device 1 is not in use.
- said method further comprises a preliminary cutting step during which said curtain 13 is cut over its entire length so as to substantially adjust its width to the width of said opening 2.
- said cutting step advantageously comprises the steps of cutting said flexible screen 131 and / or said reinforcement 133, so as to substantially adjust their width (s) (respective) W131, W133 to the width W2 of said opening (said width W2 of said opening being possibly reduced by the thickness of said guide path 12a, 12b if the device 1 is provided therewith, as described above).

Description
The present invention relates to the general field of building insulation, in particular in the context of the use of a household appliance of the mobile air conditioner or dryer type.
More particularly, the invention relates to an insulation device intended to be positioned at an opening of a building of the door or window type.
The invention also relates to a method for installing an insulation device at an opening of a building of the door or window type.
The use of portable air conditioners, that is, a household appliance capable of cooling a room by discharging hot air from it without being attached to the building, has become more and more common in recent years. . Indeed, these mobile household appliances, that is to say transportable, are today at an affordable price and have many advantages which mean that they are increasingly chosen by consumers, especially when faced with an installation of fixed air conditioning. Indeed, these mobile devices do not require heavy work, at least no work comparable to a fixed air conditioning installation (installation of ducts, installation of a condenser outside, installation of an evaporator in each of the rooms, etc. .), for a very good compromise between comfort and investment.
These mobile air conditioning devices generally satisfy their users, at least in terms of comfort, by making it possible to reduce the temperature of the room in which it is located by several degrees during hot summer periods.
However, their use generally leads to significant energy loss and consequently to overconsumption of energy in the building. Indeed, like any air conditioner, these devices extract calories from the indoor air in order to refresh it. But these calories must be rejected outside the building, so these devices are equipped with an air exhaust pipe of a large diameter. intended to evacuate hot air. In other words, these devices have a pipe that must be passed between the interior of the building (or more exactly between the room to be cooled) and the exterior of the building.
To this end, two solutions are generally presented to users. A first solution consists in making a hole through the wall, a window or a door in order to pass the extraction pipe between the interior of the building and the exterior. But, given the average diameter of the air extractor pipes of these devices (generally 125 mm), the making of this hole is generally a complex operation, requiring the intervention of a professional (mason, glazier, carpenter, etc. ) and which will generate structural, functional and visual modifications to the building. Consequently, many people, and in particular tenants, cannot undertake such work or do not wish to undertake such work. In addition, this hole constitutes a break in the insulation of the building (particularly when it is made through a wall), so that it is preferable to plug the latter when the appliance is not in use. Indeed, outside the summer period, mobile air conditioner users will generally store it in their cellar or garage in order to free up the room of this device which is no longer useful. The users will then be forced to plug the hole in order to regain some insulation of their building, for example by means of a flange or other plug. But generally these last elements are not satisfactory, in particular from the point of view of insulation and their aestheticism.
But, taking into account the complexity of the previous works and / or the drawbacks mentioned above, the solution generally adopted by the users of these devices consists simply of passing the extraction pipe through a window (or a door), which implies to leave the latter ajar. But, by leaving the window open, or at least sufficiently ajar to allow the passage of the extraction pipe, the user will allow the calories from the warmer outside air to enter the interior of the building, even though the The goal is to extract the calories from inside the building.
In addition to the hot air entering the building, other undesirable elements can also enter the interior of the building through the opening that has remained open, such as for example rain, insects or pollen. It is therefore particularly uncomfortable, if not impossible, to use a mobile air conditioner when it is raining, at night (under penalty of seeing insects invade the interior of the building) or, for sensitive people, during pollination, because the need to have to leave a window (or a door) open to allow the passage of the extraction pipe.
Finally, other household appliances, such as dryers without condensers (called exhaust dryers), also need to expel hot air (and particularly humid in the context of a tumble dryer). ) outside and also include an air extractor pipe which has the same characteristics and drawbacks as the air extractor pipe of the mobile air conditioners described above. Consequently, all of the aforementioned drawbacks also apply to the use of these devices, including during winter, for example when the hot and very humid air from the dryer must be expelled to the outside.

The invention relates as such to a
According to the invention, said
Alternatively, said
Particularly advantageously, said
According to the invention, said
It is also conceivable that said
In the example illustrated in the figures, the
Preferably, said
Advantageously, said
In other words, thanks to the different properties of said
Preferably, said
Préférentiellement ledit renfort 133 est situé quelques centimètres (par exemple entre 1 cm et 10 cm, et préférentiellement 3 cm) au-dessus dudit passage 132.Although it is not mandatory in the
- a first visible position especially on the
figures 1 and2 , corresponding to said deployed position, which corresponds to a closure (or an occultation), preferably total, of saidopening 2, so as to provide insulation between the interior of the building and the exterior, and - a second position visible in particular on
figures 3 and4 , corresponding to said retracted position, which corresponds to a release (or a non-closing, or a non-occultation), at least partial, of saidopening 2, position according to which saidcurtain 13 cannot achieve insulation between the building interior and exterior.
Although this does not really present any advantage vis-à-vis the insulation of the building, it is quite possible to position said
According to the invention, said
In other words, according to the invention, said
In this case, the unwinding of said
Of course, the use of a
Particularly advantageously, the
Preferably, only one of the two
More precisely, said
Thus, the various elements included in said
Preferably, the
This embodiment is then also remarkably advantageous in the case where the
Particularly advantageously, the
Naturally, in the preferred embodiment illustrated by the various figures, the width W131 of said screen 131 (which corresponds, in the embodiment illustrated in the figures, substantially to the width of said curtain 13) is adjusted substantially (advantageously during cutting of the latter) to the width W2 of the
Préférentiellement l'épaisseur dudit tube est inférieure à 5 mm et sa longueur L15 est comprise entre 15 mm et 75 mm et est avantageusement égale à 50 mm.Preferably, the thickness of said tube is less than 5 mm and its length L15 is between 15 mm and 75 mm and is advantageously equal to 50 mm.
Preferably, said
Preferably, said
According to the preferred embodiment shown in the figures, said
More precisely, the oblong hollow handles will be advantageously used when the
The various elements described above thus make it possible to provide a
In other words, the product makes it possible in particular to use a mobile air conditioner in summer, without carrying out major work (masonry, glassware, etc.) normally necessary to allow the passage of the appliance's extraction pipe. thermally insulated. It thus allows the use of the device by opening a window in order to pass the extraction pipe while thermally insulating the interior of the room (where the air conditioner is located) from the outside. The

- an installation step during which said
device 1 is positioned at the level of anopening 2 of a building of the door or window type, so that saidcurtain 13 can move between an deployed position in which saidcurtain 13 closes saidopening 2 so as to isolate the interior of the building from the outside and a retracted position in which saidcurtain 13 releases saidopening 2, - a connection step during which said
passage 132 is connected to an air discharge pipe of a household appliance of the air conditioner or dryer type when thecurtain 13 is deployed so as to allow the discharge of the air outside the building while preserving the insulation.
- a fixing step during which a
12a, 12b is attached to saidguide path opening 2 and advantageously to the vertical parts of table 21 - an assembly step during which said
curtain 13 is assembled with said 12a, 12b so that the latter can guide saidguide path curtain 13 between said deployed position and said retracted position.
- a step of cutting the
drum 113 so as to adjust its length L113 substantially to the width W2 of theopening 2, said step of cutting the drum being advantageously carried out at the same time as the step of cutting saidcurtain 13, the latter being wound around saiddrum 113, and / or - a step of cutting the
12a, 12b, so as to substantially adjust its length L12 to the height of said opening 2 (possibly reduced by the height H11 of saidguide path box 11 as mentioned above), and / or - a step of cutting the
base 14, so as to adjust its length L14 to the width W131 of saidscreen 131.
