Definitions
- the present invention relates to heavy-duty detergent wipes for cleaning textiles and in particular heavy-duty detergent wipes in which the substrate contains homogeneously distributed washing-active components, and to a process for their production.
- Hygiene has been a priority since the dawn of civilization. After all, hygiene is an important component in people's everyday lives. Human hygiene is primarily about maintaining health. With the further development of the possibilities, in addition to the basic cleaning effects, the scent and the improvement of the cleaning performance through the raw material mixtures used came into focus. The optimization of the cleaning performance is characterized in particular by the possibility of extending a hygienically clean state and improving the degree of cleaning.
- a detergent powder is still a mixture of different washing-active substances.
- liquid detergents which can be dosed without leaving any residue and represent a physical alternative to the solid mixture of detergents.
- the cleaning properties of liquid detergents have not yet reached the cleaning level of heavy-duty detergents (i.e. a mixture of solids).
- the reason for this lies in the fact that a liquid detergent is limited to liquid components or components that are readily soluble in water.
- the decisive missing substance in a liquid detergent is the group of zeolites. These support the dirt adsorption as well as the gloss formation/color fastness during use.
- a current product trend is the way the detergent is portioned. On the one hand, this can be done by packaging a liquid detergent in small polymer bags. Another physical modification of the detergent is blending a detergent with a fatty alcohol so that desired shapes can be achieved.
- the DE 10 2010 060 126 A1 discloses a two-phase product in the form of a laundry detergent wipe characterized by the combination of a hydrophilic carrier substrate and a liquid impregnating solution.
- the DE 10 2013 014 015 in contrast, discloses a three-phase product in which a dispersion was applied to a carrier substrate that is solid at room temperature.
- a dispersion for the first time, it was possible to achieve a cleaning performance with the characteristics of a detergent powder (eg zeolites, phyllosilicates, etc.).
- Hydrophobic carrier substrates were primarily used here, since the detergent dispersion also has hydrophobic properties due to the higher proportion of washing-active substances in relation to the two-phase system.
- the DE 10 2014 004 915 discloses a further improved Three-phase product with a more homogeneous distribution of the washing-active substances and a process for its production.
- the EP 0 957 158 A1 discloses a detergent article in the form of a rigid sheet product comprising two water-soluble substrates sandwiched on either side of a thin layer of dry detergent putty, powder or granules, respectively, such that the product comprises three solid phases and is therefore completely dry.
- This dry detergent item completely dissolves with its use.
- the U.S. 2003/207630 A1 discloses a detergent product in which a homogeneous detergent slurry is applied to a substrate, after which the water portion of the slurry is evaporated so that the final product - like the detergent article, the EP 0 957 158 A1 - comprises two solid phases and is therefore completely dry.
- the object of the present invention was to provide a detergent cloth with homogeneous distribution of the washing-active substances or solid components of the dispersion on the substrate and a process for its production in order to achieve a further improved distribution of the active substances and thus better performance of the detergent cloth.
- the distribution of the washing-active substances or solid components of a dispersion on a substrate is generally not homogeneous.
- the three-phase detergent sheet according to the invention with a homogeneous distribution of the washing-active substances or solid components on a substrate could be realized by the secondary builders (zeolite and/or phyllosilicates and/or optical brighteners) which are solid and water-insoluble at room temperature and previously contained on the substrate applied dispersion, are now incorporated into the substrate, which is solid at room temperature, during its manufacturing process - i.e. before the application of a liquid impregnation medium.
- the solid, water-insoluble additives can be added in a water bath before the substrate solidifies.
- the zeolite and/or the phyllosilicates can be sprayed on by means of a slurried dispersion (additive/water or the like) during production of the substrate.
- the incorporation of solid, water-insoluble and washing-active substances leads to activation of the substrate with components that give the three-phase end product the properties of a heavy-duty detergent.
- the substrate functionalized in this way is impregnated with a liquid impregnation medium, which is a liquid detergent.
- the functionalized substrate can be impregnated with the liquid detergent formulation by soaking in an immersion bath, spraying the liquid detergent onto the active substrate or moistening the substrate with the liquid detergent using one or more moistening sticks.
- the substrate raw materials listed can be fiber mixtures (one or more filament fibers), as well as mixed fibers (sheath-core, or side by side).
- the components described are hydrophobic and therefore have the further advantageous property of absorbing hydrophobic textile dyes in the hydrophilic wash water.
- This invention can be used across all categories of detergents.
- the following impregnation media were used in their construction: Heavy duty detergent cloth (universal): anionic surfactants nonionic surfactants Phosphonates/Complexing Agents C10-C18 fatty acid salts Optical brighteners enzymes Stabilizers (propylene glycol, glycerin, borax, inulin) fragrances preservatives Soil release polymer pH regulators Color detergent cloth (Color): anionic surfactants nonionic surfactants Phosphonates/Complexing Agents C10-C18 fatty acid salts dyes Color transfer protection Hydrotropes (Sodium Cumene Sulfonate) enzymes Stabilizers (propylene glycol, glycerin, borax, inulin) fragrances preservatives Soil release polymer pH regulators Black detergent cloth (black): anionic surfactants nonionic surfactants Phosphonates/Complexing Agents C10-C18 fatty acid salts dyes Color
- the liquid detergent of the impregnation medium can have a viscosity of more than 500 mPas. Furthermore, all known components of a liquid detergent can be included.

- a) Verwendbarkeit größerer Partikel
Vollwaschmitteltuch (universal):Anionische Tenside Nichtionische Tenside Phosphonate/Komplexbildner C10-C18 Fettsäuresalze Optische Aufheller Enzyme Stabilisatoren (Propylenglykol, Glycerin, Borax, Inulin) Duftstoffe Konservierungsmittel Soil-Release Polymer pH-Regulatoren
