Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a metering device made of plastic, which can be placed on a bottleneck for sealing attachment, with a dosing, which is closed at its exit end before the first opening by means of a, on the opposite, instituungs workedem end with a sealingly attached top surface with fullness by the Trink Vallle a pressure pin, which is in operative connection with a piercing, is passed and that the two dosing container concentric annular walls are formed, wherein the outer annular wall is provided with an internal thread, and further wherein the pressure pin is connected to a print head.
  • dosing devices have been developed in combination with closures for bottle or plastic containers for dispensing liquid or free-flowing active substances into the bottles or containers on which these dosing devices are mounted.
  • dispensers were developed about twenty years ago, they have only been around for a long time
  • a pesticide or insecticide, pesticide or fungicide must be added in an amount of only 10 milliliters of a watering can with five liters of water. If such an amount is to be dispensed from a two liter plastic bottle, a screw cap is usually used as a measuring cup.
  • these measuring cups are hardly used and a user dosed by eye, so that almost always overdosed. This is ecologically and economically disadvantageous.
  • Dosing caps that are suitable for dispensing active ingredients in solid form, in their structure usually a bit more complex, since these drugs are usually in blisterart igen packaging so that they are protected from light and moisture to the moment where they are released into a liquid should.
  • these active substances are vitamins which are not stable in the liquid phase and also decompose under the influence of light.
  • a typical example of such metering closures is shown in WO2008 / 002160.
  • the blister pack is designed and dimensioned so that the welded edge is held non-positively and positively with the screw of the closure between a bottle neck and a jacket wall of the closure member.
  • a piercer which is held above the blister pack and can be actuated by means of a guided print head, the tablet can be ejected in the blister pack.
  • a protective cap is usually held over the piercer and the print head, which must be removed before the first operation.
  • the content to be dispensed is such a metering device in liquid or giant-shaped form, it usually works with a device in the cap a sealed chamber is present and this chamber is opened by a relative movement between this chamber and a piercer, so that the content of Chamber in the Container passes.
  • a solution is known in which the piercer is fixedly attached to the lower part of this metering closure and, in the robbery movement of the cap in which the sealed chamber is mounted, the membrane which closes the chamber is cut open.
  • a very similar dosing with a receiving chamber in the cap of the closure is known from JP2006176193.
  • the GB2471994A shows a metering device consisting of a closure bottom and an attached cap, here in the lower part of the DosierverBankes a chamber is formed and stored therein a fürstosser which is displaceable after removal of a cap in a lower position while the dosing chamber, at its lower end is closed by a diaphragm, pushes.
  • All known metering devices with a metering container integrated therein are designed so that the metering container has a diameter which has at most the inner diameter of the bottle neck. If the metering container is attached to the upper part of the metering device, this diameter is again reduced by the wall thickness of the metering container.
  • a liter bottle has a height of about 35 centimeters and then a metering device should be mounted with a height of about 15 centimeters, this would require that in a store shelf, the distance between two shelves would be more than half a meter , This would be completely uneconomical and even such a bottle would be impractical to store in the transport as well as in the household.
  • the unstable or photosensitive content may be stored in the metering, or in the metering chamber, but it is also available space to additionally concentrated liquids give as fruit concentrates, coffee concentrates, sugar ⁇ or sweeteners.
  • a metering device made of plastic of the type mentioned which is characterized in that the dosing has a designed as a funnel bottom, the outlet nozzle is formed by said inner ring wall and the conical region of the funnel on the outer ring wall in the radial and axial Direction extends out and the inner ring wall is formed on the lower side of the conical region, and wherein at the upper edge of the funnel connects to a cylindrical wall which continues downwards as a circumferential skirt and extends below the level of the two annular walls away and the lower edge forms a base, and further wherein the metering container is closed by a top surface of cast spout through which the piercing is passed.
  • a print head is formed at the upper end of the piercer.
  • Figure 1 is a side view of the metering device
  • Figure 2a shows a diametrical section of the metering device according to
  • FIG. 2b shows the circled detail of FIG. 2 on a larger scale
  • FIG. 3 again shows a side view of FIG
  • FIG. 7 shows an alternative embodiment of the invention
  • Bottleneck can be applied, in the position before the first opening in the cut and
  • FIG. 8 shows the same embodiment in the same view after the first opening
  • FIG. 9 the metering container by itself also in a diametric section.
  • the metering device is designated overall by 1.
  • the metering device according to the invention essentially consists of three or four parts, as can be seen from FIGS. 5 and 6. These parts are the metering 2, the piercer 3, the print head 4 and the top surface 5 of the dosing 2. The piercer 3 and the top surface 5, as can be seen from the figure 5, be made in one piece and their separation then takes place only at First use of the dosing device.
  • the metering container 2 has a funnel-shaped bottom 20.
  • This funnel-shaped bottom 20 has an upper edge 21.
  • the terms above and below are always understood to mean always above towards the print head 4 and down towards the connection means for attachment to a bottleneck to be described.
  • This jacket wall 22 is extended downwardly over the upper edge of the funnel-shaped bottom 21 as a skirt 23.
  • This skirt 23 defines a flat surface which forms the base 24 of the metering device.
  • these metering devices are preferably sold separately from the bottles on which they are suitable. In principle, it would also be quite possible that these metering devices already mounted on the bottle get into the trade.
  • a cross-sectionally U-shaped collar 25 is formed at the upper end of the jacket wall 22 .
  • This U-shaped collar 25 forms a circumferential groove 26, which serves for the sealing and positive connection of the top surface 5 with the metering container 2.
  • the inner annular wall 27 forms a spout 27 of the dosing 2.
  • An outer, concentric with the inner annular wall 27 extending annular wall 28 is formed on the underside of the funnel-shaped bottom 20. Both annular walls 27, 28 terminate at the same height, but above the base 24.
  • the outer ring wall 28 has an internal thread 29. This internal thread is of course adapted to the external thread of the bottle neck, to which the metering device. 1 should be screwed. It should be briefly mentioned that a large number of liter and one and a half liter bottles have standardized thread. This applies to both PET bottles and glass bottles.
  • This printhead 4 has a substantially dome-shaped or dome-shaped pressure surface 40.
  • This pressure surface 40 has at the top a flattening 41 on.
  • a peripheral, cylindrical edge 42 adjoins downward, which can be separated from the actual pressure surface 40.
  • a separating seam 43 extends between the pressure surface 40 and the peripheral edge 42, which is formed either by a circumferential thin point or by a plurality of predetermined breaking point bridges.
  • the peripheral edge 42 is severed and a pull tab is formed.
  • the circulating, separable edge 42 thus serves as a guarantee strip before the first use, which ensures and recognizes that the metering device is unused. After the separation of the peripheral edge 42, only the first actuation can take place.
  • the term Trustbetuschist here is somewhat misleading, but quite common in such dosing, although the metering device is only for single use and thus only a first operation is done and not a repeated use.
  • the lower edge of the separable, peripheral edge 42 rests on extremely on the U-shaped collar 25. After the separation of the peripheral edge 42 then rests the lower edge of the dome-shaped pressure surface 40 also to extremely on the U-shaped collar 25.
  • a first part 30 of the piercer 3 is formed below the pressure surface 40, in the example shown here, below the flattening 41 of the print head 4, a first part 30 of the piercer 3 is formed.
  • This first part 30 of the penetrator 3 is formed by a first part 31 of a pressure pin, which is designed in two parts. Only this first part 31 of the pressure pin is integrally formed on the printhead.
  • the pressure pin consists here of three star-shaped, radially outwardly directed guide walls 32 which are integrally formed integrally on a cylindrical envelope wall 33. This cylindrical envelope wall 33 is cut at the bottom inclined and has at its lower edge a cutting edge 34. The meaning of this separating blade 34 will be described below.
  • the guide walls 32 are shortened at the lower end in the radial direction and engage there in a second part 35 of the penetrator 3 a.
  • This second part 35 of the piercer 3 has a pipe section 36.
