Claims (12)

  1. A fitting for a sliding door, especially for furniture, comprising a rail (3) having at least one track (10, 11), whereby the fitting comprises a running part (6, 30) having one or more rollers (12), whereby the one or more rollers (12) of the running part (6, 30) can move on the track (10, 11), and whereby the fitting comprises a safety catch (20, 40) having a pivot lever being held rotatably around an axis (24, 46) running parallel to the longitudinal axis of the rail (3), said pivot lever being pivotable from a securing position in which it engages at least partially beneath the track (10, 11) of the rail (3), whereby a web (21, 41) of the pivot lever, as viewed in the longitudinal direction of the rail (3), engages at least partially beneath a section of the track (10, 11) of the rail (3) in the region of the at least one roller (12), and a mounting position, in which the it does not engage under the track (10, 11) anymore, and whereby a gap between the web (21,41) of the safety catch (20, 40) and the bottom side of the rail (3) is smaller than a height of a lateral edge (13, 14) of the rail (3) adjacent to the track (10, 11), so that in case the roller (12) and the sliding door are lifted upwards a movement of the sliding door above the edge (13) is prevented, characterized in that the axis (24, 46) is located in the area and inside of the diameter of the at least one roller (12).
  2. A fitting according to claim 1, characterized in that the pivot lever can be latched in the securing position with the web (21, 41) beneath the track (10, 11).
  3. A fitting according to one claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the pivot lever comprises two arms (25, 43) between which the roller (12) is arranged.
  4. A fitting according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the running part (6, 30) has a vertical web and the pivot lever is rotatably mounted on the vertical web.
  5. A fitting according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a first track (10) and a second track (11) are arranged in the vertical direction on top of each other on the rail (3).
