Abstract

Pour couler des pièces dans une machine de coulée (G), on fait pivoter un moule (5) sur un axe de pivotement horizontal (HS). Le moule (5) comporte un couvercle (9) pourvu d'un orifice de remplissage (13) et une paroi latérale de référence (7). Un niveau principal (HE), s'étendant parallèlement à l'axe de pivotement (HS), est placé dans la paroi latérale de référence (7). Un panier de coulée (15) est fixé au moule (5) et le moule (5) est ensuite pivoté dans une position de coulée dans laquelle le niveau principal (HE) de la paroi latérale de référence (7) forme, avec le niveau du bain (BS) d'une partie (S) du métal en fusion à remplir dans le panier de coulée (15), un angle β1 qui est inférieur à 180°, et le niveau du bain (BS) de la partie (S) de métal en fusion est situé en dessous de l'orifice de remplissage (13) du moule (5). Le panier de coulée (15) rempli d'une partie (S) de métal en fusion est pivoté avec le moule sur l'axe de pivotement (HS) de sorte que le métal en fusion (S) s'écoule dans le moule de coulée (5).
