Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a wood-based panel according to the preamble of claim 1, the use of such a wood-based panel according to claim 13 and a method for joining such panels of wood according to claim 14.
  • Tongue and groove panels have been known for a long time and are used to cover walls and ceilings or as floor panels.
  • tongue and groove panels on the basis of wood materials represent a frequently used material variant in interior design.
  • OSB Oriented Strand Board
  • a fixation is effected, for example, by the formation of a groove provided along a longitudinal and / or transverse edge and a spring formed on the opposite longitudinal and / or transverse edge, wherein the spring engages in the groove.
  • Tongue and groove plates are usually produced in a format of approx. 1,700 x 600 mm. This means that on the longitudinal side of the first plate with the groove through the second plate with the spring of the glue hose over the entire plate length must be crushed with uniform pressure. However, since the glue hose behaves like a pressure pad, uniform pressure is difficult to realize.
  • the present invention is therefore based on the technical object to overcome the disadvantages of the known system, and to provide a simple but efficient method that allows the processor easy processing and installation of the wood-based panels without additional costs. It should be dispensed solvent-based adhesive systems or harmful substances and also the production of the system, the transport, storage and handling should not create any additional technical problems.
  • a wood-based panel with two longitudinal edges and two transverse edges wherein at least one of the longitudinal and / or transverse edges at least one groove is formed, and at least one of the opposite longitudinal and / or transverse edges at least one spring is formed.
  • at least two such wood-based panels can be joined together by inserting the at least one spring of a wood-based panel in at least one corresponding groove of the second wood-based panel.
  • at least one container which contains at least one adhesive is introduced into the at least one groove.
  • This adhesive container is opened by means of the symmetrical elevations when inserting the spring (the one wood-based panel) in the groove (the other wood-based panel), i. due to the pressure applied or exerted in the groove when inserting the spring in combination with the symmetrical elevations in the groove, the adhesive container is defined to burst.
  • a wood-based panel which can be connected to a second wood-based panel by inserting at least one spring of a first panel of wood material into at least one corresponding slot of a second further panel of wood-based panel. That is, several wood-based panels are by joining the spring of a wood-based panel in a corresponding groove of another wood-based panel connected together to form a sheet, such as in the connection of individual floor panels to floor laminate floors.
  • the invention according to the invention in the groove along at least one longitudinal edge alternating symmetrical elevations cause upon insertion of the spring into the groove due to the applied forces or the applied pressure opening or destruction of the adhesive container provided in the groove.
  • the adhesive is released and spreads in the region of the groove.
  • a quantity of linen predetermined in the production of the plate is released, so that a glue outlet at the connection point of tongue and groove is excluded. Also excluded is that too little glue is used and the compound is not durable. Since the person laying the material plates only the person Wood board has to fit into each other, the present wood-based panels for the processor are very easy to handle.
  • the groove has a depth between 5 and 15 mm, preferably 10 to 12 mm and a thickness (or width) between 5 and 15 mm, preferably 10 mm.
  • the thickness (or thickness) of the groove cheeks is 3 to 10 mm, preferably 5 to 7 mm, particularly preferably 6 mm.
  • the spring may have a length between 5 and 15 mm, preferably 5 to 9 mm and a thickness between 5 and 15 mm, preferably between 7 and 8 mm.
  • an arrangement of the alternating symmetrical elevations in addition to the inventive arrangement n of the groove on or on the spring is possible, although the sole arrangement in the groove is preferred.
  • the alternating symmetrical elevations in the groove are provided in particular along at least one longitudinal edge.
  • the symmetrical elevations in the groove and / or on the spring are repeated according to an embodiment at a regular distance, that is, these are continuous regularly repeating elevations or elevations.
  • the elevations provided in the groove can also be considered as regularly provided elevations at which the adhesive container provided in the groove is destroyed by the pressure of the spring.
  • the elevations or elevations in the groove and optionally on the spring each have a point-like tapered geometry pointing away from the wood-based panel.
  • the sides of each survey are preferably the same length.
  • the height and angular dimensions between the sides of the preferably pointed to running surveys can be varied depending on the plate thickness and groove geometry or spring geometry.
  • the angular dimensions of the inner angle of the pointed-to-current survey vary, with a small inner angle means a more pointed survey.
  • the angular size should be dependent on the material used for the adhesive container and the force or pressure to be applied to the opening of the adhesive container when inserting the spring into the groove. For example, if a firmer material for the adhesive container is used, the survey should be relatively acute-angled to open the adhesive container enable. In the reverse case, when using a softer material for the adhesive container, a less pointed elevation may be sufficient to open the adhesive container.
  • the elevations may have a height of 1 to 5 mm, preferably 2 to 4 mm.
  • the elevations are formed in the groove and optionally on the spring by means of milling. Accordingly, the elevations during milling of the groove and optionally the spring can be milled, preferably by using a further milling cutter, that is, in this case, the elevations are formed integrally with the wood material board.
  • the elevations are separately in the groove and optionally put on the spring.
  • the surveys would consist of plastic, wood and / or wood materials that may be the same or different from the material of the wood-based panel.
  • the bumps may be provided on a separate band that is correspondingly inserted in the groove along the same or mounted on the spring along the same. That is, surveys can be used or glued in accordance with this variant in the passage in the groove.
  • plastic as a material for the separately formed surveys allows the generation of particularly effective geometries.
  • wood-based panel are on the outside of the spring (that is on the spring side, which has no elevations) additionally receptacles or recesses provided which can absorb the outflowing glue / adhesive and an additional toothing or compound after curing of the glue / Adhesive is effected in the junction of tongue and groove.
  • the at least one adhesive container runs along the entire length of the groove, that is along the total length of at least one longitudinal and / or transverse edge of the wood-based panel.
  • the at least one adhesive container is designed in the form of a hose.
  • it is a continuous tube, for example in the form of an extruded tube containing the adhesive.
  • the at least one adhesive container is formed in the form of a tube, which is divided along its length into individual segments or chambers.
  • the segments or chambers are preferably of the same size, that is, have equal volumes for receiving an equal amount of adhesive.
  • the segments or chambers may be formed by welds or so-called sealing sites, e.g. be formed with a width between 1 and 3 mm, preferably 2 mm. It is also possible to divide the tube into segments using perforation lines.
  • the adhesive container in particular in the form of a tube, has a diameter between 3 and 10 mm, preferably 5 and 9 mm.
  • the length of a single segment of the adhesive container, preferably in the form of a tube, can be between 100 and 200 mm, preferably between 130 and 180 mm, particularly preferably between 150 and 170 mm.
  • an adhesive container in the form of a tube by sealing sites of separate segments has several advantages.
  • a segmentation of the adhesive container also allows the processing of different formats of wood-based panels, as these must correspond in format only a multiple of the single segment length of the glue hose segments (a separation of the glue tube in the seal is easily possible).
  • the adhesive container used is made of a plastic material.
  • the plastic material should be selected so that it has a certain strength, so that a tearing of the plastic container is avoided during the manufacture and transport of the wood-based panel, however, when pressing the spring into the groove, for example by tearing the material through the pointed Surveys can be opened.
  • Particularly preferred plastic material used here is polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyamide (PA) and / or polyethylene (PE) or a mixture thereof.
  • PET polyethylene terephthalate
  • PA polyamide
  • PE polyethylene
  • a polyamide film as Tubing has this thickness or thickness between 50 and 100 .mu.m, preferably between 70 and 80 .mu.m.
  • the presently used adhesive is selected from the group comprising polyvinyls and acrylates. Particularly advantageous is the use of aqueous adhesive formulations such as polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) or ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA). Of course, other glues can be used with water as a solvent. In one embodiment, a PVAc glue having a solids content of between 50 and 80% by weight, preferably between 60 and 79% by weight, particularly preferably of 65% by weight, may be used as the adhesive.
  • the wood-based panel is preferably a medium density fiber (MDF), high density fiber (HDF) or coarse span (USB) panel, a plywood panel, a cement fiber panel, a gypsum fiberboard, a wood plastic panel and / or a plastic panel.
  • MDF medium density fiber
  • HDF high density fiber
  • USB coarse span
  • the wood-based panel represents an OSB board, which are preferably used for stiffening due to the special mechanical properties.
  • the present wood-based panel is used in particular for the production of laminate flooring, wall and / or ceiling paneling.
  • the present wood-based panel is also used in a method of joining two or more wood-based panels having the following features.
  • a first wood-based panel having the above features is bonded to another (second) wood-based panel having the above features, wherein the spring of one panel of wood material is inserted into the groove of the other panel board containing the adhesive box.
  • the adhesive container that is in the groove of this wood-based panel opened due to the arranged in the groove of a wood-based panel and optionally on the spring of the other wood-based panel symmetrical elevations and the adhesive is released from the adhesive container into the groove.
  • the adhesive ratio is destroyed when meshing the tongue and groove elements and thereby releases the adhesive.
  • the adhesive container consists in particular of a hose containing the at least one adhesive, which is divided into individual segments.
  • the use of a segmented adhesive contained hose allows easy laying and inserting the spring in the wood-based panels.
  • the individual segments of the tube containing the adhesive are opened in succession or burst in succession, so that no leakage of the entire glue tube must be feared.
  • an area in which the exiting adhesive or glue can run, without the adhesive can be pressed completely by the pressure of the spring in the direction of assembly. Accordingly, an overflow of the adhesive from the joint is thereby avoided, since excess adhesive can be absorbed by the bottom of the groove.
  • the processor or publisher need not make any specific information about the amount of adhesive to be used in the processing of the present tongue and groove plates. Also eliminates the need for the publisher to select the suitable adhesive for the present wood material board, since the plate manufacturer has already selected the appropriate adhesives by preliminary tests. In addition, the exact adaptation of the tube content to the groove / spring geometry ensures optimal gluing, which is further supported by an optimized spacing of the elevations. Even when cutting the material plates can maximally idle a single segment of the segmented adhesive contained hose, which is not a problem for the contamination of the substrate and the quality of the bond.
  • the provision of the present wood-based panel and the method for bonding such wood panels results in a number of advantages: time savings in processing, a higher quality bonding, a material savings in the adhesive or glue used, better and easier processability, especially for a private home improvement and a simpler format change in the production of the material plates.
  • FIG. 1 shows a plan view of a wood-based panel 1 a, b of a wood material, such as MDF, HDF, preferably OSB.
  • a groove 2 is milled in the longitudinal edges and transverse edges.
  • a spring 3 is formed in the form of a rectangular projection. The dimensions or shapes of the groove 2 and the spring 3 are each designed so that the spring 3 of a first wood-based panel can engage in the groove 2 of a second wood-based panel.
  • the groove bottom is provided with pointed symmetrical elevations 4, which repeat continuously along the groove (see FIG. 2 ).
  • a glue tube or glue thread 5 is arranged, which is divided into several segments. This glue thread or glue hose 5 escapes along the entire length of the groove 2. The amount of glue present in the segments of the glue hose 5 is matched to the size of the volume in the joint when the spring of a wood-based panel 1 b in the groove of the other wood-based panel 1 a engages (see also FIG. 3 ).
  • the thereby released adhesive pours into the groove bottom, on which there is an area in which this can run, without the adhesive can be completely pushed out of the groove by the pressure of the spring.
  • a 22 mm OSB board (format: 1690 x 634 x 22 mm) is profiled in a tongue and groove system.
  • the groove cheeks have a thickness of 6 mm and the groove has a thickness of 10 mm and a depth of 12 mm.
  • a wave-shaped milling is attached, which has a height of 2 mm.
  • the polyamide film used for the glue hose has a thickness of 70-80 ⁇ m.
  • the glue hose is filled with a PVAc glue with a solids content of 65% by weight. Between the segments there is a seal with a width of about 2 mm.
  • the spring of the N + F plate has a length of 9 mm and a thickness of 8 mm. It is rounded in the front area.
