Such door handle assemblies for a motor vehicle may be embodied as an internal or external handle, with the present invention primarily related to a door handle assembly for an exterior handle. Such door handle assemblies have a variety of different constructions and embodiments. The inventive design of a door handle refers to such embodiments in which a carrier on the one hand and a handle on the other hand are fastened to each other from opposite sides of the door of the motor vehicle. The carrier is mounted on the back of the door, ie inside the motor vehicle, while the handle from the outside of the door, so the outside of the motor vehicle is mounted. After assembly, the two handle ends of the handle pass through respective recesses in the door or in the door panel of the motor vehicle, wherein one of the two handle ends is rotatably mounted on the carrier, whereas the other end of the handle is coupled to a lever mounted on the carrier. That's it a grip end is coupled to the deflection lever such that a pivoting movement of the handle leads to a pivoting movement of the deflection lever. Via a Bowden cable connection or via a linkage, the pivoting movement of the reversing lever can be transmitted to a door lock or a vehicle-side locking arrangement, so that a door lock can be opened by pulling on the handle.

A door handle assembly of the type described input is for example from the DE 10 2012 211 371 A1 known.

Furthermore, from the DE 10 2005 049 027 A1 a door handle assembly is known, which has a support which is fastened on the inside to the door or on the door panel, a handle and a lever. The handle is thereby attached to the outside of the door by the two handle ends of the handle are guided through respective openings in the door and attached to the carrier. In this case, the first handle end of the handle is rotatably mounted on the carrier floating. The game associated with this type of storage in the longitudinal direction of the carrier is required because the second end of the handle handle is rotatably connected to the lever.

During assembly of this known door handle assembly, the handle is first moved transversely to the carrier so that the handle ends of the handle can be passed through the openings. Subsequently, the handle is moved laterally to the carrier or in the longitudinal direction of the carrier, so that a trained at the second end of the handle approach can be pressed into a receptacle of the reversing lever to couple the second end of the handle and the lever. The impressions requires a precise alignment of the lever and handle, which adversely affects the assembly and makes awkward. In addition, it is disadvantageous that due to the floating support of the first end of the handle and the fixed clamping of the second end of the handle correspondingly large gaps must be taken into account, which adversely affects the tightness of the entire door handle assembly. In addition, the floating support of the first handle end causes the handle to operate when opening a door or flap of the motor vehicle can wobble slightly or even noticeably or perform a rocking motion, which can give the user the impression of a non-functional handle.

The invention has for its object to provide a solution that provides a door handle assembly in a structurally simple manner, which is inexpensive to manufacture and in which the handle is easy, quick and easy to install on the support. In particular, a door handle assembly is to be provided in which the play in the longitudinal direction of the carrier and thus the clearances of the openings in the door panel for the handle ends are reduced to a minimum.

In a door handle assembly of the type described input, the object is achieved in that the slider element in the locking position both in the longitudinal direction of the carrier to the tower directed towards the movement of the handle and a transversely directed to the carrier movement of the tower is designed to block.

Advantageous and expedient refinements and developments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims.

The invention provides a door handle assembly of a motor vehicle is available, which is characterized by a functional design and has a simple and inexpensive construction. In the door handle assembly according to the invention, the slider element ensures that when mounting the handle now no longer needs to be moved in the longitudinal direction of the carrier to press the formed on the second end of the handle approach in a recording of the reversing lever, so that the handle coupled to the movement of the lever is. Rather, the movement of the slider element ensures that the handle is moved during the assembly in the longitudinal direction, so that the first end of the handle is urged into the bearing point designed for this on the support and the second end of the handle reaches a position in which it can cooperate with the reversing lever when the handle is operated. This inventive type of coupling the handle with the deflection lever causes the first end of the handle handle is firmly clamped to the handle support, whereby the Game of the first handle end of the handle in the axial direction or in the longitudinal direction of the handle carrier and consequently the gap dimensions can be reduced to a minimum, which allows the use of simpler and more cost-effective sealing measures for the door handle assembly, whereby the manufacturing cost of the entire door handle assembly can be lowered.

In an embodiment of the invention, the door handle assembly is provided that the slider element is formed frame-shaped and surrounds the tower circumferentially. During assembly, the slider element is already arranged on the carrier and attached thereto, so that the tower is inserted from the outside of the door through an opening in the carrier and by the slider element. The fact that the slider element surrounds the tower circumferentially, the space on the support can be reduced to a minimum.

It is also advantageous with respect to a minimal space when in embodiment of the invention, the slider element has at least one locking portion which is inserted in the locking position in a formed in the peripheral wall of the tower locking recess such that movement of the tower out of the carrier is blocked. The locking portion thus acts as a kind of latch, which is moved to lock accordingly, in order then to block movement of the tower out of the handle support and to prevent the handle can be moved from its storage location.

A structurally particularly favorable solution consists in a further embodiment of the door handle assembly according to the invention in that the locking portion is at least partially formed on at least one extending in the longitudinal direction of the carrier frame part of the frame-shaped slide element.

The invention further provides, in an advantageous embodiment of the door handle assembly, that the locking portion, which is formed at least in sections on the at least one frame part, acts as one inside the frame extending locking lug is formed. This measure also has a favorable space-saving and is also structurally simple and inexpensive to implement.

Thus, a movement of the handle from the storage or storage point on the support can be prevented, it is advantageous if in embodiment of the door handle assembly, the slider element has a contact surface which blocks in the locking position lateral movement of the handle in the direction of the tower and in Mounting position is shifted in the direction of the tower, that the handle is laterally movable in the direction of the tower. In other words, a distance between the contact surface and the second handle end is formed in the mounting position, which allows movement of the handle in the longitudinal direction of the carrier towards the bearing point to attach the handle to the carrier. On the other hand, the distance serves to disassemble an already attached handle from the handle support, if replacement appears necessary.

In the door handle assembly according to the invention is provided in a further embodiment that in the locking position, the contact surface bears against a handle formed on the second handle end and coupled to the lever handle of the handle. The contact surface may in this regard comprise a material through which the handle hook can slide along the contact surface when the handle is actuated accordingly.

In terms of construction, it is particularly advantageous with regard to a small installation space if, in an embodiment of the invention, the grip hook has a projection at its free end which engages behind an actuating projection formed on the reversing lever.

Finally, the invention provides in an advantageous embodiment, that the carrier has an actuating region in which the slide element between the locking position and the mounting position is movably mounted and guided.

To move the slider element, it is also advantageous if an adjusting means is provided, through which the slide element in the locking position and in the Mounting position is movable. In this case, the adjusting means may be formed, for example, as a screw which is supported on the carrier and moves the slider element accordingly.

In FIG. 1 is a vehicle or motor vehicle 1 in the form of a car exemplified, which in the example of four doors 2 (two of which are from FIG. 1 apparent), which can be opened via a door handle assembly 3 and in particular by means of a door handle or a handle 4. The doors 2 are tightly closed via respective closing arrangements 5 and can be opened from the outside only via a respective movement of the handle 4. This movement on the handle 4 may consist of a pulling and / or folding movement, wherein the corresponding movement of the handle 4 mechanically at least via a lever 6 (see, for example FIG. 3 or 4 ) is transferred to the corresponding closing arrangement 5. The reversing lever 6 is rotatably mounted on a carrier 7, which can be opened by the movement of the handle 4, the corresponding locking assembly 5 and thus the associated door 2. In other words, an actuation of the handle 4 can be transferred to a vehicle-side locking arrangement 5 by the reversing lever 6.

In the FIGS. 2 to 10 the door handle assembly 3 according to the invention is shown in more detail in different views for different positions, in some figures, some components of the door handle assembly 3 are not shown for reasons of clarity. As in particular the Figures 2 and 4 can be seen, the door handle assembly 3 on the carrier 7, which is formed like a frame. The carrier 7 is known to the attachment and rotatable mounting of the handle 4 and is secured by means not shown screw on the inside of the door 2 (inside), wherein the handle 4 on the outside of the door 2 (outside) is arranged, as in FIG. 2 is indicated. In this case, the carrier 7 for reasons of material savings formed predominantly from a frame structure which has various recording and storage areas to accommodate, among other things, the handle 4 and a tower 8, wherein the handle 4 on the support 7 for opening a corresponding door 2 of the motor vehicle 1 by a user movable and / or pivotally mounted on the carrier 7, whereas the tower 8 has either a lock key for a mechanical key or a dummy fairing. The tower 8 is in the embodiment shown in the figures in the longitudinal direction 99 (see arrow direction in FIG. 3 ) of the handle 4 arranged in extension of the second handle end 12 of the handle 4 and accessible from the outside of the door 2.

As FIG. 2 shows, the door 2 on the outside two recesses 9 and 10, through which the tower 8 is inserted and fixed in the carrier 7 and then the bow-shaped handle 4 is installed with its first handle end 11 and its second handle end 12 on the support 7 in that the grip ends 11, 12 in the assembled state of the door handle arrangement 3 project through the respective recess 9 or 10. The first handle end 11 of the handle 4 is thus inserted through the first recess 9 and firmly clamped to a bearing element 13 of the carrier 7. The end-side clamping of the handle 4 further allows pivoting of the handle 4 about a vertical axis. After mounting the door handle device 3, the second handle end 12 of the handle 4 extends through the second recess 10 formed in the door 2 and cooperates with the deflection lever 6 for actuating the closing arrangement 5. In this case, the second end of the handle 12 is formed with a handle hook 14, like the FIGS. 2 to 10 demonstrate. A trained on the lever 6 actuating lug 15 is coupled to a formed at the free end of the handle hook 14 approach 16. In particular, the projection 16 of the grip hook 14 engages behind the actuating projection 16 of the deflection lever 6.

By the deflection lever 6, which is rotatably mounted on the carrier 7, a movement of the handle 4 on the corresponding vehicle-side locking assembly 5 is transferable to thereby opening the corresponding door 2. The reversing lever 6 is in the selected embodiment, against the force of a trained as a spring element mechanical restoring element from a rest position with non-actuated handle 4 in an end position with actuated handle 4 pivotally. The deflection lever 6 is rotatably mounted on the carrier 7 by means of rotary axle elements in corresponding bearing points of the carrier 7.

Für diese Bewegungskopplung hintergreift der am freien Ende des Griffhakens 14 ausgebildete Ansatz 16 den am Umlenkhebel 6 ausgebildeten Betätigungsansatz 15.The handle 4 is coupled with its second handle end 12 with the pivotally mounted on the carrier 7 lever 6. The handle 4 is thus movement-coupled with its operation for opening the door 2 of the motor vehicle 1 with the closing arrangement 5. For this movement coupling formed at the free end of the handle hook 14 lug 16 engages the actuating lug 15 formed on the lever 6.

According to the invention, the door handle assembly 3 further comprises a slider element 17, which is designed to be frame-shaped, both a longitudinal direction 99 of the carrier 7 directed towards the tower 8 movement of the handle 4 and a transversely to the carrier 7 and the carrier 7 directed away Movement of the tower 8 to block. The frame-shaped slide element 17 is arranged on the carrier 7 and has a passage opening 18, through which the tower 8 is inserted when mounted on the carrier 7. Consequently, the slider member 17 surrounds the tower 8 circumferentially, like the FIGS. 9 and 10 for example, show. The slider element 17 is on the support 7 between a tower 8 releasing mounting position (see FIG. 9 ) and the tower 8 in the carrier 7 locking locking position (see FIG. 10 ) movable. The tower 8 has in its peripheral wall on two locking recesses 19 which are formed extending in the longitudinal direction 99 of the carrier 7 and arranged diametrically (see, for example FIG. 5 ). If the tower 8 is inserted in the carrier 7, to which the carrier 7 has a correspondingly shaped bearing point, then a respective locking recess 19 in the path of movement of the tower 8 circumferentially surrounding slide member 17 is arranged, so the locking recesses 19 in the plan view of FIGS. 7 and 8 are not recognizable. The Slider element 17 is in the locking position (see FIG. 10 ) is configured such that it blocks both a movement of the handle 4 directed towards the tower 8 in the longitudinal direction 99 of the carrier 7 and a movement of the tower 8 directed transversely to the carrier 7. From the FIGS. 4 and 6 in conjunction with the FIGS. 9 and 10 It can be seen that the slider element 17 has two locking portions 20 which are formed on two opposite frame parts 17a, 17b of the slider element 17 (see, for example FIG. 6 ). The locking portions 20 are each formed as a in the frame interior extending locking lug 21, which are arranged in the locking position of the slider element 17 in the locking recesses 19 of the tower 8.

In the mounting position (see for example FIGS. 7 and 9 ), however, is the slider element 17 in an end position, which on a bearing element 13 facing away from the longitudinal end 22 (see Figures 2 and 4 ) of the carrier 7 is positioned, so that the locking portions 20 and the locking projections 21 are arranged outside of the locking recesses 19. When the tower 8 is inserted into the carrier 7 and the slider member 17 is moved from the mounting position to the locking position by the slider member 17 within an operating portion 23 formed in the carrier 7 (see, for example FIG. 4 ), is displaced in the direction of the handle hook 14 in the longitudinal direction 99, then the locking portions 20 and the locking lugs 21 are inserted into the associated locking recesses 19 of the tower 8, so that movement of the tower 8 out of the carrier 7 and away is blocked. In the operating region 23 of the carrier 7, therefore, the slide member 17 is movably supported and guided between the locking position and the mounting position. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that, as an alternative to the embodiment shown in the figures, instead of two locking portions 20, a single locking portion 20 or more than two locking portions 20 may be used, if one Locking recess 19 or more than two locking recesses 19 are formed in the tower 8.

According to the invention, the slide element 17, which is movably mounted on the support 7 between the locking position locking the tower 8 in the support 7 and the mounting position releasing the tower 8, blocks both in the locking position a movement directed towards the tower 8 in the longitudinal direction 99 of the support 7 The slider element 17 thus implements two aspects, namely that in the locking position the tower 8 is fixed to the carrier 7 and that in the locking position the first handle end 11 of the handle 4 is not can be disengaged from the bearing 13, because a movement in the longitudinal direction 99 of the carrier 7 is blocked by the slide member 17. In order to block the movement of the handle 4 in the longitudinal direction 99 of the carrier 7, the slider element 17 has a further frame part which extends between the frame parts 17a and 17b and is formed as a contact surface 17c, on which the handle hook 14 upon actuation of the handle 4 can slide along, but prevents a directed towards the tower 8 movement of the handle 4. Consequently, the slider element 17, the contact surface 17c, which blocks in the locking position a lateral (longitudinal direction 99) movement of the handle 4 in the direction of the tower 8 and in the mounting position in the direction of the tower 8 and in the carrier laterally (in the longitudinal direction 99) is that the handle 4 is laterally movable in the direction of the tower 8, which is indicated by the arrow 98 in FIG FIG. 7 is indicated. Thus, in the locking position, the abutment surface 17c engages the handle hook 14 of the handle 4 formed on the second handle end 12 and coupled to the reversing lever 6, whereby movement of the handle 4 out of the bearing 13 is prevented and the handle 4 is securely secured to the carrier 7 is held.

For adjusting the slide element 17, a screw 24 is provided as actuating means 24, by which the slide member 17 is movable on the carrier 7 between the locking position and the mounting position. The Adjusting means 24 is provided on a fourth frame part 17d of the slider element 17 and cooperates with the carrier 7, so that the slider element can be moved in accordance with its operating region 23 between the mounting position and the locking position.
