Fig.1 zeigt in Frontansicht eine Skizze eines Gargeräts 1 mit einer Beschickungsöffnung 2 durch welche ein Garraum G des Gargeräts 1 beschickbar ist. Das Gargerät 1 mag ein Haushalts-Gargerät sein, z.B. ein Backofen mit einer Dampfgarfunktion. Die Beschickungsöffnung 2 ist von einem Flansch 3 (gestrichelt eingezeichnet) umgeben. Für den Fall, dass die Türdichtung 12 (ggf. bis auf den Durchflusskanal 9 sowie einen Trichter) umlaufend gleich ausgebildet ist, erstreckt sich auch die Auffangrinne 13 umlaufend um die Beschickungsöffnung 2. Folglich wird dann auch eine umlaufende äußere Dichtlinie D2 bereitgestellt. Dadurch wiederum kann auch an einem oberseitigen und an einem seitlichen (linksseitigen und rechtsseitigen) Abschnitt der inneren Dichtlinie D1 hindurchtretendes Wasser besonders effektiv aufgefangen und der Auffangrinne 13 des unteren Abschnitts 12u der Türdichtung 12 zugeführt werden. Insbesondere mag durch den Trichter 14 erreicht werden, dass der Durchflusskanal 9 einen tieferen Grund aufweist als die Auffangrinne 13, was ein Abfließen des Wassers W erleichtert. Claims (10)

  1. Door seal (5; 12) for a cooking appliance (1; 11), having a sealing lip (7) for generating a sealing line (D1) with a closed door (4) of the cooking appliance (1; 11), wherein:
    - a collection groove (8; 13) is embodied on the sealing lip (7), and
    - the collection groove (8; 13) is connected to an appliance side of the door seal (5; 12) via at least one through-flow duct (9),
    characterised in that
    - the collection groove is embodied below the sealing lip (7) on the door side.
  2. Door seal (5; 12) according to claim 1, characterised in that the collection groove (8; 13) occupies the entire width of a lower section (5u; 12u) of the door seal (5; 12).
  3. Door seal (5; 12) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the collection groove (8; 13) extends up and out via sealing lips (7) of lateral sections (51, 5r) of the door seal (5; 12).
  4. Door seal (12) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the collection groove (13) is embodied as a further sealing region for generating a further sealing line (D2).
  5. Door seal (12) according to claim 4, characterised in that the collection groove (13) is embodied such that it runs around the loading opening (2).
  6. Door seal (5; 12) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the door seal (5; 12) is shaped as a funnel (14) leading from the collection groove (8; 13) to at least one through-flow duct (9).
  7. Cooking appliance (1; 11), having
    - a cooking compartment (G) which can be loaded via the loading opening (2),
    - a door (4) for closing off the loading opening (2) and
    - a door seal surrounding the loading opening (2), against which the closed door (4) abuts,
    characterised in that
    - the door seal is a door seal (5; 12) according to one of the preceding claims.
  8. Cooking appliance (1; 11) according to claim 7, characterised in that the door seal (5; 12) abuts against an appliance wall (3) such that the at least one through-flow duct (9) of the door seal (5; 12) opens into a cutout (10) of the appliance wall (3).
  9. Cooking appliance (1; 11) according to one of claims 7 to 8, characterised in that the at least one through-flow duct (9) of the door seal (5; 12) is connected to a water drain out from the cooking compartment (G).
  10. Cooking appliance (1; 11) according to one of claims 7 to 9, characterised in that the cooking appliance (1; 11) is a household cooking appliance.
