Instead, the valve may simply be applied to the lower outer end of the insert portion during manufacture. This simplifies the manufacture of the dropper insert with the valve as a whole and reduces the rate of potential production errors.
  • the valve according to the invention is designed as a silicone plate. Due to the radial symmetry of the dropper insert, this silicone plate is circular. Furthermore, according to these embodiments, the silicone valve is provided with a cross slot, so that a total of four valve lips are formed, which allow the desired tightness at rest and the desired permeability during refilling. For the dimensions of the dropper insert indicated in the figure, a thickness of the silicon wafer of 0.5 mm has been found to be particularly suitable.
