Claims (9)

  1. Rooflight window (100) comprising a fixed casing (Cf) provided with two longitudinal members (L), the window comprising two channels, two battens (Ts) fixed externally and laterally to the two longitudinal members (L), the two channels (120) being fixed on top of the said two battens (Ts), this arrangement being considered when the said window is in the fitted position, the window further comprising flashing (140), each piece of flashing comprising a sheet (142, 142') intended to be covered with roof covering elements such as slates (Ad), tiles (T1, Tl'), the said sheet being extended on one lateral edge by a means of overlap (150) designed to cover the free edge of the constituent exterior lateral wall (123) of the two channels, the means of overlap (150) being formed of a profiled shape with the geometry of an inverted U with a first face (152) extending the sheet (142, 142') almost at right angles, followed by a second face (153) designed to cover the free edge of the exterior wall (123) of a corresponding channel and which extends towards the inside, by a third face (154) extending the second face almost at right angles and being arranged facing the first face (152), so that it can hang down inside the said channel, characterized in that the third face (154) extends beyond the sheet (142, 142').
  2. Rooflight window (100) according to Claim 1, characterized in that each channel (120) is formed by a profile having, when viewed from one end, a (U)-shaped geometry with an intermediate wall (122) extended at its two edges by the exterior lateral wall (123) and by an interior lateral wall (124) adjoining the external face of a corresponding longitudinal member (L).
  3. Rooflight window (100) according to Claim 2, characterized in that the two free edges of the exterior (123) and interior (124) lateral walls are folded over towards the inside of the channel (120) to prevent any splashing in heavy rain from bouncing out of the said channel.
  4. Rooflight window (100) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that several pieces of flashing (140) are used on each side of the window casing (Cs), the width (L, l) of the means of overlap (150) increasing from its upper part towards its lower part, when the said flashing is in its fitted positon, in order to obtain correctly adjusted mutual overlap without gaps between two succeeding pieces of flashing.
  5. Rooflight window (100) according to any one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that a single piece of flashing (140) is used on each side of the window casing (Cs).
  6. Rooflight window (100) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a runoff apron (Ps) is arranged under the lower crossmember (Tb) that makes up the said casing, a clip (Pn) being fixed transversely to the said runoff apron (Ps) to hold covering elements (Ad; T1, T1') or a metal sheet which are intended to conceal the said runoff apron.
  7. Rooflight window (100) according to Claim 6, characterized in that the clip (Pn) is fixed to an intermediate profile (Po) allowing its height to be adjusted.
  8. Rooflight window (100) according to Claim 6 or 7, characterized in that the runoff apron (Ps) is bordered laterally by two flashing strips (Ba) in which there are formed respectively and in their upper part, two runners (Cl), the two channels (120) connecting into the two runners (Cl).
  9. Rooflight window (100) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a transverse gutter (Gt) borders the constituent upper crossmember (Th) of the casing (Cs), the said gutter being connected at its ends by two portions (Tc) or channels connected in the upper part of the two channels (120).
