Definitions

  • the invention belongs to the field of mechanics of the anti-mosquito net systems that are used in horizontal door sliding.
  • the flat net which is rolled and unrolled and the pleated (with pleats) net which is folded and unfolded.
  • the present invention is applied to the anti-mosquito systems that have a pleated net (pleat), work with a fixed horizontal guide which is permanently screwed on the floor and perform a horizontal movement.
  • the net is located folded in pleats (pleated), between two vertical cases, the retention case and the sliding case and is folded and unfolded by moving within fixed horizontal guides that are permanently fastened on the top and bottom part of the frame of the opening.
  • the whole system is like a frame, which has as its two vertical sides the moving case of retention and the fixed case of sliding, where the retention case is fastened and immobilized on one of the vertical sides of the frame of the opening.
  • a fixed side guide is fastened and immobilized on the opposite vertical side of the frame of the opening.
  • the sliding case moves between the retention case and the fixed side guide and in a direction parallel to them.
  • the frame has two fixed guides fastened on the top and the bottom sides of the frame of the opening, respectively.
  • the sliding case moves by sliding within the two horizontal guides, at the top and at the bottom, which are made of aluminium, have a ⁇ shape and usually have side walls of 4 mm height. In this way the net is folded and unfolded within the horizontal guides. While the user slides the sliding case, at the same time the pleated net of the net is unfolded. When the user makes the reverse movement, namely when he moves the sliding case back to its former position next to the retention case, simultaneously the pleated net is folded.
  • the pleated net folds and unfolds its pleats, supported by ropes which run horizontally across its length.
  • the ropes are used so that when the pleated net is unfolded, they stretch and hold the net stretched and unfolded in its place. They also assist in the refolding of the net to its pleats.
  • the ropes are located horizontally and in equal distances between them and function as follows:
  • the ropes that run across the lower middle part of the net form the bottom group of ropes.
  • All the ropes start off at the side of the retention case, having their ends fixed through buttons on a plastic axis. They run horizontally across the length of the net and they go through similar buttons with an opening at their other end which also are placed on a plastic axis.
  • the whole system 'plastic axis - net with ropes - plastic axis' is an independent component of the anti-mosquito net, which is introduced by sliding within the two vertical guides; in particular, the plastic axis with the fixed ends of the ropes on the buttons is introduced by sliding within the retention case which is fastened permanently on the side of the frame of the opening.
  • the opposite plastic axis namely the one with the ends of the ropes that are going through the opening of the buttons, is introduced by sliding within the sliding case which is moved between the retention case and the fixed vertical side guide. After their passage though the opening of the buttons, the ropes unify in two unified bundles of the same number of ropes, the bundle that is formed by the ropes of the top group of ropes and the bundle that is formed by the ropes of the bottom group of ropes.
  • the ends of the ropes of the top group run through the sliding case towards the bottom, creating a unified bundle that runs horizontally across the bottom fixed horizontal guide and ends up and is fastened on the bottom end of the fixed vertical side guide.
  • a second technical problem is that, although the anti-mosquito net provides protection against the insects, it does not at the same time provide shade to the space. If the user wishes to also install a shading net on the same frame of the opening, that presupposes an additional separate installation on the same frame of individual bars of aluminium, which would be placed in continuation to the bars which are used for the anti-mosquito system. That is to say that there would be two separate and independent systems, the anti-mosquito system and the shading system installed one next to the other.
  • the disadvantage of the accumulative installation of the two systems is that the volume of the frame of the opening is increased greatly. Moreover, the simultaneous use of both impedes significantly the normal ventilation of the space. Lastly, in order to have access to the shading system, the user every time has to fold first the anti-mosquito system and subsequently to open or close the shading system.
  • Document WO2012/117262 describes an anti-mosquito net system with the features mentioned in the introductory part of claim 1 and which has the above-mentioned problems.
  • the present invention solves both the aforementioned technical problems.
  • the side guide is fastened on one of the vertical sides of the frame; the retention case is fastened on the opposite vertical side and between them on a parallel position the sliding case is located, which with its moving it folds and unfolds the net.
  • the invention consists in the following: Between the retention case which is fastened permanently on the one vertical side and the sliding case which moves parallel to it, a second sliding case is installed, which also moves in parallel to the previous two cases.
  • the opening of the frame is not covered by a single anti-mosquito net with a big surface but by more panels of net with a smaller surface, which do not exit their place due to wind but they remain firm in their position within the small dimensions of the frames that are formed by the sliding cases and the horizontal guides. This way the first technical problem that was mentioned earlier is solved.
  • the anti-mosquito system may have two panels of anti-mosquito net only, or one panel with an anti-mosquito net and one with a shading net.
  • the shading net is incorporated into the anti-mosquito system and becomes an alternative choice for the user who thus acquires an appliance with two functions in one, namely both an anti-mosquito protection and a shading, so as depending on the hour of the day he can use whichever of the two nets he needs.
  • the present invention resolves also the second technical problem mentioned earlier, that of the increase in the volume of the frame of the opening and the difficulty that presented by both the placement and the use of the cumulative placement of both systems, the anti-mosquito one and that of the shading.
  • the invention is produced in a kit form, which means that the user does not have to wait for the execution of his order in specific dimensions of height.
  • the product can be produced directly in specific categories of height for the cases and the side guide, e.g. "kit with a height of cases and guide from 1900 up to 2200 mm", “kit with a height from 2201 up to 2500 mm” and “kit with a height from 2501 up to 2800 mm”. That results in an easiness and speed of placement since the technician that places it assembles the anti-mosquito system in situ in a very short time.
  • the panels of the pleated anti-mosquito net (7a and 7b) can both be anti-mosquito nets (drawings 1-2, 6-10), or one can be an anti-mosquito net and the other a shading net (drawings 3-5), or both can be shading nets.
  • the net panels could be two (drawings 1-7), or three (drawings 8-10) or more.
  • the net panels when they are two in number, they are placed as follows (drawings 1-7): the first net panel (7a) is located between the fixed retention case (8) which is fastened on the vertical side of the frame of the opening and the intermediary sliding case (9), the second net panel (7b) is located between the intermediary sliding case (9) and the sliding case at the side (10). Whereas when all the net panels are three in number (drawings 8-10) the third panel (7c) is located between the second intermediary sliding case (45) and the sliding case at the side (10).
  • the net is run across by ropes placed horizontally and at equal distances between them, which are used for the folding and unfolding of the net.
  • the main technical feature of the current invention is that the ropes run all the pleated net panels successively without being interrupted, from their start at the side of the fixed retention case, up to their ends at the vertical fixed side guide. That is, the ropes are united and are not interrupted anywhere. This is achieved thanks to the special end component that exists at the top (17) and bottom (27) end respectively of the intermediary sliding case (9) (drawings 11-13).
  • ropes function as follows (drawing 2):
  • the six ropes (1-6) all run across the first net (7a) horizontally and at equal distances between them and they reach buttons with holes (13a-13f) which are located on a plastic axis (14) which is located on the opposite edge of the net (7a), within the intermediary sliding case (9). They enter through the transparent buttons (13a-13f) in the same successive sequence, namely rope (1)-button (13a), rope (2)-button (13b), rope (3)-button (13c), rope (4)-button (13d), rope (5)-button (13e) and rope (6)-button (13f).
  • the bottom group the ropes of the bottom group (1, 2, 3) are heading as one unified bundle (20) towards the top horizontal guide (15), they run as a bundle (20) around a pulley (16) which is located on a top end component (17) of the intermediary sliding case (9), they descend as a bundle (20) and they branch off one after the other by passing at a sequence (1, 2, 3) through the top buttons with holes (18f, 18e, 18d) respectively, which are located on a plastic axis (19) within the intermediary sliding case (9).
  • the third rope (3) which on the first panel of net (7a) is located third in the sequence immediately above the second (2) rope, counting from the bottom up and passes through the third on the lower part of the net (7a) button with holes (13c), when it runs across the second panel of net (7b) it passes through the third on the top part of the net (7b) top button with holes (18d), under the second (2) rope.
  • all three ropes (1, 2, 3) run across the second net (7b) horizontally and in equal distances between them and they reach corresponding buttons (37f, 37e, 37d), which are located on a plastic axis (38) which is located on the opposite edge of the net (7b), within the side sliding case (10).
  • the top group the ropes of the top group (4, 5, 6) are directed as a united bundle (25) towards the bottom horizontal guide (21), they run as a bundle (25) around a pulley (26) which is located on a bottom end component (27) of the intermediary sliding case (9), they ascend as a bundle (25) and they branch one after the other passing through at a sequence (6, 5, 4) the bottom buttons with holes (18a, 18b, 18c) respectively, which are located on a plastic axis (19) within the intermediary sliding case (9).
  • the rope (6) which on the first panel of net (7a) is located on its upper part and passes through the first on the uppermost part of the net button with holes (13f); when it runs across the second panel of net (7b) it passes through the first on the lowest part of the net (7b) lower button with holes (18b).
  • the rope (1) that exits through the lowest button (13a) of the first panel of net (7a) enters through the uppermost button (18f) of the second panel of net (7b
  • the rope (2) that comes out of the immediately next towards the top button (13b) of the first panel of net (7a) enters into the immediately next towards the bottom button (18e) of the second panel of net (7b)
  • the rope (3) that exits through the button (13c) immediately after the next one towards the top of the first panel of net (7a) it enters into the button (18d) after the next towards the bottom of the second panel of net (7b).
  • buttons (11a-11f, 13a-13f, 18a-18f, 37a-37f) of the panels of net (7a and 7b) are placed at the same height and on the same and equal distances between them, so as the ropes entering through the buttons and running across the nets are always at horizontal lines, that have the same distance between them and are parallel.
  • a third and a fourth panel of net could be used, by utilising additional sliding cases.
  • the two bundles of ropes will be entering through the end components at the top and the bottom end of the intermediary sliding cases, and will exchange their position, namely the top group will become bottom group and vice versa and the ropes will reverse successively their position according to the above mentioned procedure, until they reach the side sliding case (10). Then they will run across the two horizontal guides and they will be fastened within the vertical side fixed guide (24).
  • Drawings 3 , 4 and 5 present the anti-mosquito screen system with one intermediary movable sliding case (9) and with two panels of net, where one of the panels is an anti-mosquito net (7a) and the other is a shading net (7b).
  • both nets (7a and 7b) are partially unfolded.
  • the shading net (7b) is entirely folded in its pleats between the side sliding case (10) and the intermediary sliding case (9); as far as the anti-mosquito net is concerned, it is fully unfolded.
  • drawing 5 the shading net (7a) is entirely folded in its pleats between the intermediary sliding case (9) and the retention case (8), whereas the anti-mosquito net (7a) is entirely unfolded.
  • the ropes (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) (drawing 3) run always in succession across both panels of pleated nets (7a and 7b), from their start on the axis (12) on the side of the fixed retention case (8) until their termination on the fixed vertical side guide (24). They are united and are not interrupted at any point.
  • the fact that the first panel of net is an anti-mosquito net (7a) whereas the second is a shading net (7b) does not change in any way the way of functioning of the invention, based on all facts analyzed earlier regarding the case where both panels of net were anti-mosquito nets (drawing 2).
  • the system has both types of net, that is the anti-mosquito net (7a) and the shading net (7b)
  • its use is implemented as follows: the user pulls the side sliding case (10) and directs it up to the vertical side guide (24) so that the nets are unfolded (7a and 7b) (drawing 3). Then, the user has two options: if it is daytime and he wishes to shade the space, he slides the intermediary sliding case (9) towards the retention case (8) up to the point that both the cases (9 and 8) touch each other. At this point, the first panel with the anti-mosquito net (7a) is entirely folded between the two cases, the sliding one and the retention one (9 and 8) (drawing 5).
  • Drawing 6 illustrates an anti-mosquito screen system with a side opening on both ends and with three sliding cases, two at the sides (10, 8) and one intermediary (9), and two panels of net (7a and 7b).
  • the drawings 8, 9, 10 present an anti-mosquito screen system with a third panel of net (7c) and the addition of a second intermediary sliding case (45), between the side sliding case (10) and the intermediary sliding case (9).
  • the second sliding case (45) (drawing 9) has adjusted on its top and bottom end the special end components (51) and (52) respectively, which are similar to the end components (17) and (16) that belong to the first sliding case (9) and function in exactly the same way.
  • the third panel of net (7c) is positioned between the second intermediary sliding case (45) and the side sliding case (10).
  • the panels of the nets of the system could be, based on the user's choice, all anti-mosquito nets, or all shading nets, or some anti-mosquito and some shading nets.
  • the ropes function as follows: The ropes run across the first (7a) and the second (7b) panel of net according to the way described in detail above, with reference to the drawings 1-5. Then, the ropes arrive at the edge of the second net (7b) and they go through buttons with holes (53a-53f) which are located on the axis (55) at the edge of the net (7b) and afterwards they are again separated into two bundles.
  • the bundle (20) with the ropes of the first group (1, 2, 3) is directed towards the bottom horizontal guide (21) and goes around a pulley (57) which is located within the end component (52) at the bottom end of the second intermediary sliding case (45). Afterwards the ropes again ascend and branch, by passing through bottom buttons with holes (54a, 54b, 54c) respectively, which are located on an axis (58) on the edge of the third panel of net (7c).
  • the other bundle (25) with the ropes of the second group (4, 5, 6) is directed towards the top horizontal guide (15) and runs around a pulley (56) which is located within the end component (51) at the top end of the second intermediary sliding case (45). Thereafter the ropes again descend and branch, by passing, through top buttons with holes (54d, 54e, 54f) respectively, which are located on the axis (58) at the edge of the third panel of net (7c). Therefore in this case, once again the sequence of passage of the ropes is reversed in comparison to the sequence of passage that they followed running across the second panel (7b) of net.
  • the rope (6) that exits through the lowest button (53a) of the second panel of net (7b) enters through the uppermost button (54f) of the third panel of net (7c), the rope (5) that exits through the immediately next towards the top button (53b) of the second panel of net (7b), it enters through the immediately next towards the bottom button (54e) of the third panel of net (7c) and the rope (4) which exits through the button after the next towards the top (53c) of the second panel of net (7b), it enters through the one after the next towards the bottom button (54d) of the third panel of net (7c).
  • Drawing 10 shows an anti-mosquito screen system with a third panel of net (7c) and openings on both sides.
  • the technical features and the operation of the system is completely similar with the function that has been described above in reference with drawing 7, that is a second vertical side guide is required (36) and two pulleys (32, 33) on the second sliding case (8).
  • a second intermediary sliding case (45) according to the way of operation that has just been described with reference to the drawings 8-9.
  • Drawings 2 , 11 , 12 , 13 , 18 illustrate the special end component (17 and 27) which is adjusted on the top and bottom end of the intermediary movable sliding case (9) (drawing 11a). Thanks to that component the passage of the ropes from one panel of net (7a) successively to the next (7b) is rendered feasible, without any interruption made on the ropes.
  • the component (17) has on both of its opposite sides two slottings (46) within which the panels of the pleated net (7a and 7b) are placed and fastened (drawing 11b). At its middle there is an opening with holes (47) (drawing 12a and 13a) in which a pulley is inserted (16) rotating around an axis (49) (drawings 12a, 13c).
  • the axis (49) enters into the opening with holes (47) and is fastened in a horizontal position within two slottings (48) (drawings 12a, 13c) which exist on the walls of the opening (47) with holes.
  • the bundle of the ropes (20) runs (drawings 11a, 11b, 11c and 12b) by moving within a configured recess or cavity (50) that is located on the surface of the pulley (16) (drawings 12a, 13a, 13b, 13c).
  • the opening with holes (47) within the end component (17) has a shape similar to that of the pulley (16), leaving a gap only at the point where the recess is located (50). That has as a technical result the bundle of the ropes (20) to be running around the pulley (16) (drawings 12b and 13 a) and moving around it while remaining at all times in the recess (50) on the surface of the pulley. This way the bundle of the ropes (20) runs continually unobstructed around the pulley (16) and as a result of that the net (7a and 7b) folds and unfolds its pleats unhindered.
