Definitions

  • the invention belongs to the field of mechanics of the anti-mosquito net systems that are used in horizontal door sliding.
  • the flat net which is rolled and unrolled and the pleated (with pleats) net which is folded and unfolded.
  • the present invention is applied to the anti-mosquito systems that have a pleated net (pleat), work with a fixed horizontal guide which is permanently screwed on the floor and perform a horizontal movement.
  • the net is located folded in pleats (pleated), between two vertical cases, the retention case and the sliding case and is folded and unfolded by moving within fixed horizontal guides that are permanently fastened on the top and bottom part of the frame of the opening.
  • the whole system is like a frame, which has as its two vertical sides the moving case of retention and the fixed case of sliding, where the retention case is fastened and immobilized on one of the vertical sides of the frame of the opening.
  • a fixed side guide is fastened and immobilized on the opposite vertical side of the frame of the opening.
  • the sliding case moves between the retention case and the fixed side guide and in a direction parallel to them.
  • the frame has two fixed guides fastened on the top and the bottom sides of the frame of the opening, respectively.
  • the sliding case moves by sliding within the two horizontal guides, at the top and at the bottom, which are made of aluminium, have a ⁇ shape and usually have side walls of 4 mm height. In this way the net is folded and unfolded within the horizontal guides. While the user slides the sliding case, at the same time the pleated net of the net is unfolded. When the user makes the reverse movement, namely when he moves the sliding case back to its former position next to the retention case, simultaneously the pleated net is folded. Furthermore, for the proper function of the anti-mosquito system, the pleated net folds and unfolds its pleats, supported by ropes which run horizontally across its length. The ropes are used so that when the pleated net is unfolded, they stretch and hold the net stretched and unfolded in its place. They also assist in the refolding of the net to its pleats.
  • the ropes are located horizontally and in equal distances between them and function as follows:
  • the ropes that run across the upper middle part of the net form the top group of ropes.
  • the ropes that run across the lower middle part of the net form the bottom group of ropes.
  • All the ropes start off at the side of the retention case, having their ends fixed through buttons on a plastic axis. They run horizontally across the length of the net and they go through similar buttons with an opening at their other end which also are placed on a plastic axis.
  • the whole system 'plastic axis - net with ropes - plastic axis' is an independent component of the anti-mosquito net, which is introduced by sliding within the two vertical guides; in particular, the plastic axis with the fixed ends of the ropes on the buttons is introduced by sliding within the retention case which is fastened permanently on the side of the frame of the opening.
  • the opposite plastic axis namely the one with the ends of the ropes that are going through the opening of the buttons, is introduced by sliding within the sliding case which is moved between the retention case and the fixed vertical side guide. After their passage though the opening of the buttons, the ropes unify in two unified bundles of the same number of ropes, the bundle that is formed by the ropes of the top group of ropes and the bundle that is formed by the ropes of the bottom group of ropes.
  • the ends of the ropes of the top group run through the sliding case towards the bottom, creating a unified bundle that runs horizontally across the bottom fixed horizontal guide and ends up and is fastened on the bottom end of the fixed vertical side guide.
  • a second technical problem is that, although the anti-mosquito net provides protection against the insects, it does not at the same time provide shade to the space. If the user wishes to also install a shading net on the same frame of the opening, that presupposes an additional separate installation on the same frame of individual bars of aluminium, which would be placed in continuation to the bars which are used for the anti-mosquito system. That is to say that there would be two separate and independent systems, the anti-mosquito system and the shading system installed one next to the other.
  • the disadvantage of the accumulative installation of the two systems is that the volume of the frame of the opening is increased greatly. Moreover, the simultaneous use of both impedes significantly the normal ventilation of the space. Lastly, in order to have access to the shading system, the user every time has to fold first the anti-mosquito system and subsequently to open or close the shading system.
  • the side guide is fastened on one of the vertical sides of the frame; the retention case is fastened on the opposite vertical side and between them on a parallel position the sliding case is located, which with its moving it folds and unfolds the net.
  • the invention consists in the following: Between the retention case which is fastened permanently on the one vertical side and the sliding case which moves parallel to it, a second sliding case is installed, which also moves in parallel to the previous two cases. Due to a special end component which is located on the top and bottom end of the second (intermediary) sliding case, the passage of the ropes from the one panel of net consecutively into the next one is made possible without interrupting the ropes at any place.
  • This technical characteristic namely the special end component of the intermediary sliding case, thanks to which it is technically rendered feasible for the net panels to be independent while the ropes that connect them can be united, attributes to the system the following property:
  • more than one additional intermediary sliding cases can be installed, all being always moved in parallel to one another; between the cases the independent panels of net are introduced, all being united with the same ropes. Therefore the opening of the frame is not covered by a single anti- mosquito net with a big surface but by more panels of net with a smaller surface, which do not exit their place due to wind but they remain firm in their position within the small dimensions of the frames that are formed by the sliding cases and the horizontal guides. This way the first technical problem that was mentioned earlier is solved.
  • the anti-mosquito system may have two panels of anti-mosquito net only, or one panel with an anti-mosquito net and one with a shading net.
  • the shading net is incorporated into the anti-mosquito system and becomes an alternative choice for the user who thus acquires an appliance with two functions in one, namely both an anti-mosquito protection and a shading, so as depending on the hour of the day he can use whichever of the two nets he needs.
  • the present invention resolves also the second technical problem mentioned earlier, that of the increase in the volume of the frame of the opening and the difficulty that presented by both the placement and the use of the cumulative placement of both systems, the anti-mosquito one and that of the shading.
  • the invention is produced in a kit form, which means that the user does not have to wait for the execution of his order in specific dimensions of height.
  • the product can be produced directly in specific categories of height for the cases and the side guide, e.g. "kit with a height of cases and guide from 1900 up to 2200 mm", “kit with a height from 2201 up to 2500 mm” and “kit with a height from 2501 up to 2800 mm”. That results in an easiness and speed of placement since the technician that places it assembles the anti-mosquito system in situ in a very short time.
