Zur Lösung dieser technischen Problemstellung ist im Rahmen der Erfindung ein gattungsgemäßes Kraftfahrzeugtürschloss dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das obligatorische Verstärkungselement als beide Drehachsen von einerseits der Drehfalle und andererseits der Sperrklinke beabstandet vom Schlosskasten koppelnde Verstärkungsplatte ausgebildet ist, wobei die Ausleger im Wesentlichen parallel zueinander angeordnet sind und überwiegend senkrecht im Vergleich zur Verstärkungsplatte verlaufen, wobei die Ausleger endseitig durch einen jeweiligen Quersteg miteinander verbunden sind, wobei die Ausleger im Vergleich zum U-förmigen Schlosskasten im Querschnitt L-förmig ausgebildet sind.
Im Rahmen der Erfindung wird die jeweilige Drehachse von einerseits der Drehfalle und andererseits der Sperrklinke durch jeweils einen im Schlosskasten verankerten Lagerbolzen definiert. Folgerichtig verfügt die Drehfalle über einen eigenen Drehfallenlagerbolzen genauso wie die Sperrklinke, die mit einem zugehörigen Sperrklinkenlagerbolzen ausgerüstet ist. Im Regelfall durchgreift der jeweilige Lagerbolzen mit seinem einen Ende den Schlosskasten. Außerdem ist die Auslegung meistens so getroffen, dass der jeweilige Lagerbolzen mit seinem anderen Ende die Verstärkungsplatte durchgreift.

Der Schlosskasten ist im Allgemeinen im Querschnitt U-förmig ausgebildet. Dabei hat es sich bewährt, wenn die bereits angesprochene Lagerebene des Gesperres von dem Mittelteil des Schlosskastens gebildet wird. Der eine Schenkel des Schlosskastens und eine vom Tragwerk aufgespannte Tragwerkebene sind im Allgemeinen parallel zueinander angeordnet. In diesem Schenkel des Schlosskastens ist im Regelfall auch der obligatorische Einlaufschlitz für den Schließbolzen vorgesehen. Da die Schenkel des U-förmigen Schlosskastens im Wesentlichen senkrecht zur Fahrzeugquerrichtung bzw. Y-Richtung angeordnet sind, erreicht die Erfindung durch diese Ausprägung, dass auch die Tragwerkebene und mit ihr das bereits beschriebene rechteckförmige Tragwerk senkrecht zu dieser Y-Richtung angeordnet wird. Dadurch werden etwaige Kräfte in dieser Fahrzeugquerrichtung optimal wie beschrieben vom Gesperre bzw. dem Tragwerk aufgenommen und in den Schlosskasten eingeleitet.

Man erkennt, dass im Rahmen der beiden Ausführungsbeispiele nach den Fig. 1 und 2 der Schlosskasten 1 im Querschnitt U-förmig ausgebildet ist. Tatsächlich verfügt der Schlosskasten 1 über ein Mittelteil 1a, einen Schenkel 1b und einen Schenkel 1c. Die Lagerebene 9 wird von dem Mittelteil 1a des U-förmigen Schlosskastens 1 gebildet. Wie bereits erläutert, ist die Verstärkungsplatte 7 koplanar, das heißt ebenengleich, zu der betreffenden Lagerebene 9 und folglich dem Mittelteil 1a des U-förmigen Schlosskastens 1 angeordnet.

Bei einem Seitenaufprall mit damit verbundenen Deformationskräften in Fahrzeugquer- bzw. Y-Richtung kommt es nicht zu unplanmäßigen Öffnungen des Gesperres 2, 3. Denn solche Kräfte werden von dem angesprochenen Tragwerk 5, 7, 6, 9 derart aufgenommen, dass die zugehörigen Lagerbolzen 5, 6 gleichgerichtete Verformungen in dieser Y-Richtung erfahren, die im Regelfall wiederum nicht zu einer unplanmäßigen Öffnung des Gesperres 2, 3 korrespondieren. Auch etwaige Kräfte in Fahrzeuglängsrichtung oder in Fahrzeughochachsen- bzw. Z-Richtung werden von dem fraglichen rechteckförmigen Tragwerk 5, 7, 6, 9 zuverlässig aufgenommen und beherrscht.

  1. Motor vehicle door latch, having a lock case (1), furthermore having a locking mechanism (2, 3) mounted in the lock case (1) consisting essentially of a catch (2) and a pawl (3), and having an additional reinforcing element (7), the reinforcing element (7) being designed as a reinforcing plate (7) which couples both axes of rotation of, on the one hand, the catch (2) and, on the other hand, the pawl (1) at a distance from the lock case (1), characterized in that the reinforcing plate (7) has additional jibs (10), the jibs (10) being arranged mainly parallel to one another and extending predominantly perpendicularly in comparison with the reinforcing plate (7), the jibs(10) being connected to one another at the ends by a respective transverse support (11), the jibs (10) being L-shaped in cross-section in comparison with the egg-shaped lock case (1).
  2. Motor vehicle door latch according to claim 1, characterized in that the respective axis of rotation is defined by a bearing bolt (5, 6) anchored in the lock case (1).
  3. Motor vehicle door latch according to claim 2, characterized in that the respective bearing bolt (5, 6) engages with its one end through the lock case (1) and with its other end through the reinforcing plate (7).
  4. Motor vehicle door latch according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the reinforcing plate (7) is arranged coplanar with a bearing plane (9) of the locking mechanism (2, 3).
  5. Motor vehicle door latch according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the reinforcing plate (7) and the bearing plane (9) in conjunction with the bearing bolts (5, 6) define a supporting structure (5, 7, 9) which is rectangular in cross-section.
  6. Motor vehicle door latch according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the two bearing bolts (5, 6) are each arranged at the edge of the rectangular supporting structure (5, 7, 6, 9), preferably its narrow sides.
  7. Motor vehicle door latch according to one of claims 3 to 6, characterized in that the bearing plane (9) of the locking mechanism (2, 3) is formed by a middle part (1a) of the U-shaped lock case (1).
  8. Motor vehicle door latch according to one of claims 3 to 7, characterized in that a leg (1b) of the lock case (1) and a supporting structure plane spanned by the supporting structure (5, 7, 6, 9) are arranged mainly parallel to one another.
  9. Motor vehicle door latch according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the jibs (10) extend at the end to one leg (1b) of the U-shaped lock case (1) on the one hand, and to a middle part (1a) and another leg (1c) of the U-shaped lock case (1) on the other hand.
  10. Motor vehicle door latch according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the reinforcing plate (7), in conjunction with the jibs (10) and the lock case (1), define a bearing cage (1, 7, 10) for the locking mechanism (2, 3).
