Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for the supply and / or disposal of hazardous substance in a working with the hazardous substance device, which is monitored by means of at least one control unit and at least one sensor at least one hazardous substance parameters, and then the device in conjunction with at least one safety cabinet for storage the hazardous substance works in at least one hazardous substance container.
- hazardous substances may be, for example, solvents, but also acids or alkalis.
- such cabinets In order to protect the stored in the safety cabinet or hazardous materials cabinet before, for example, an explosion in case of fire, such cabinets usually have a self-closing mechanism that ensures at a certain temperature (excess), that one or more cabinet doors occupy or maintain their closed state. For this reason, such safety cabinets also regularly have a fire-resistant construction. This is basically known and has proven itself.
- the aim is to transfer and dose laboratory chemicals from large containers into small containers at one station.
- the filling quantity is predetermined by a programmable controller.
- a largely automated filling of laboratory chemicals is to be achieved, which are typically delivered in large containers such as barrels and then to be filled into small containers.
- the sample to be analyzed is typically comminuted or ground and dissolved with the aid of one or more solvents. This solution is then analyzed by chromatography. As a result not only substances in the sample can be separated, but these substances can also be identified and quantified using standards. If, therefore, the apparatus operating with the hazardous substance is, for example, a chromatograph and usually a so-called high-performance liquid chromatography apparatus, the laboratory staff faces the problem of not only providing the hazardous substances or required solvents as needed, but also the used solvents or hazardous substances. For such chromatographs today often work automatically or semi-automatically, so that the supply of hazardous substances and the disposal of the used hazardous substances is becoming increasingly important.
- flying structures the working with the hazardous substance device, in the example of the chromatograph, on the one hand with a container or a newly filled hazardous material container for the supply of Hazardous substance connected.
- one or more drip pans are often provided for disposal, that is, for receiving the used hazardous substances. That does not meet today's safety standards (anymore).
- flying structures are increasingly being rejected by persons entrusted with the work in question, because possibly harmful vapors may escape in an uncontrolled manner.
- the invention aims to provide a total remedy.
- the invention is based on the technical problem of further developing a method for the supply and / or disposal of a device working with a hazardous substance of the type described above so that the safety is increased and in particular a health risk to the staff can be largely avoided.
- a corresponding device is to be made available.
- a generic method for supply and / or disposal of hazardous material in a working with the hazardous substance device is characterized in that the device and the safety cabinet define a portable work unit such that the device via one or more hoses with the equipped with lower-side roles safety cabinet is technically connected, and that are monitored as a hazardous material parameters both a supply filling and disposal capacity of the relevant hazardous substance and evaluated in the control unit.
- the device and the safety cabinet define a work unit. That is, the device and the safety cabinet are coupled together so that they can work together, hence the desired unit of work provide.
- the coupling is realized according to the invention so that the device is connected by means of one or more hoses with the safety cabinet work.
- the one or more hoses may be supply hoses and / or disposal hoses.
- the safety cabinet is used for example for storing the hazardous substances which are supplied via the one or more supply hoses of the device.
- the safety cabinet regularly takes up newly filled hazardous waste containers.
- the latter alternative corresponds to the fact that hazardous substances processed in the device are disposed of via the one or more disposal hoses in the safety cabinet.
- the safety cabinet acts as a storage for used hazardous waste containers.
- the safety cabinet can also accommodate both newly filled hazardous material container for the supply of the relevant device with the hazardous substance and spent hazardous substance container for disposal of the equipment consumed by the hazardous substances in its interior.
- a safety cabinet may serve to receive the one or more newly filled hazardous material containers, whereas the other safety cabinet accommodates the one or more spent hazardous material containers in its interior.
- the two safety cabinets can be combined in the example case together with the device to the portable work unit. That is, the device in conjunction with the one or more safety cabinets to store the hazardous substance still works portable.
- the safety cabinet is designed in two parts with a department for each newly filled hazardous substance container and another department for the used hazardous substance container.
- the invention always ensures that the combination of the relevant device and the hazardous substance-consuming device and the one or more safety cabinets for storing the relevant hazardous substance, ie for storing the newly filled hazardous goods container and / or the used hazardous substance container, works portable.
- the flexible use of the device in conjunction with the at least one safety cabinet and the transportability of the combination ensures that the device in question in different places Can be used easily in the laboratory or in other laboratories. Because the portable design of the work unit allows a total of variable use.

- both the supply filling quantity and the disposal filling quantity of the relevant hazardous substance with regard to the monitoring come into question as hazardous substance parameters.
- both the supply filling quantity and the disposal filling quantity of the relevant hazardous substance are monitored and evaluated in the control unit.
- the evaluation in the control unit can be carried out in such a way that conclusions are drawn from the supply filling quantity of any residual content of hazardous substance in the newly filled hazardous substance container. Likewise, the evaluation allows a statement to be made as to how much of the used hazardous substance has accumulated and consequently how far the used hazardous substance container or the several used hazardous substance containers are filled. Depending on the evaluated by the control unit supply fill and / or Entsorgungs Stahlge can accordingly be initiated the procurement of newly filled hazardous material container for the supply or the removal of used hazardous waste container for disposal. This can be the corresponding quantities transferred after evaluation by the control unit, for example, to a remote control center.
- a signal is then output, for example, to the effect that a newly filled hazardous material container is required shortly or in a certain predicted period.
- a message can be generated that the used hazardous substance container is filled in a likewise predicted period of time, so that its removal for disposal of the hazardous substance is required.
- any loss of hazardous material inside the device and / or by evaporation may be detected.
- the total consumption in a laboratory can be determined on the basis of the individual consumptions of the facilities.
- the invention is based on the recognition that such hazardous substance containers for receiving the used hazardous substances are usually equipped with a non-closable opening, so that their storage in the closed safety cabinet is advised, especially if it is equipped with a suction.
