Definitions
- the invention relates to a vehicle restraint system with at least one post, with at least one guard rail, the plank profile has a central plank web and the plank bridge above and below plank legs, and with at least one, provided between the post and guard rail spacers, the one firmly connected to the post , First holding leg and a firmly connected to the protective barrier second holding leg, wherein the spacer is designed as a two-legged bracket, the first holding leg is firmly connected above the central plank web with the post.
- the multi-part spacer of the EP1061179B1 recognize no improvements, which is formed by two brackets provided above or below the plank ridge of the guardrail are.
- This spacer is intended to reduce impact energy by deforming its brackets before the posts and / or guardrail absorb further impact energy.
- posts and / or the guardrail have different rigidity. Since the shape changes of the bracket depend on the parameters of the impact, different mechanical stiffnesses of the vehicle restraint system act on the vehicle to be backed up, depending on the type of impact. Predetermined breaking points on the brackets in order to direct their deformation in certain tracks, can not completely eliminate these disadvantages.
- a vehicle restraint system according to the preamble is known from US5931448A known.
- the invention solves this problem by the fact that the second holding leg of the bracket is firmly connected below the central plank bar with the guardrail.
- the spacer is designed as a two-legged bracket, a simple to manufacture and therefore more cost-effective spacer can be made available, which can also be characterized by a simplification of the assembly.
- this constructive design of the spacer to increase the performance of the vehicle restraint system contribute if its first holding leg above the center plank web with the post and the second holding leg is firmly connected below the central plank web with the guardrail.
- the increased rigidity or dimensional stability of the angular spacer in combination with its inventive clamping on posts and guardrail can namely always for a controlled effect between posts and Guardrail care.
- the lever effect of the spacer on its connecting elements with the post can be increased if the two holding legs connect at an obtuse angle to each other.
- This course of the relatively wide spread of the holding leg can also be a simpler installation and maintenance of the vehicle restraint system useful, since the accessibility is facilitated to its corresponding points.
- the end width of the first retaining leg of the width of the post correspond.
- the clamping of the connection between the spacer and guardrail can be made mechanically stronger.
- the stability of the vehicle restraint system can thus be increased.
- these two clamping areas having solid compound to reduce the tendency to tilt of the spacer contribute.
- a different firm connection between spacers and posts or spacers and guardrail can be made possible.
- the assembly of the connecting elements between spacer and guardrail can be facilitated and thus accelerated if the lateral distance between the flanges is greater than the width of the post.
- the two flanges are at a distance from the retaining web forming between the first and second retaining limbs, this can promote the rigidity of the spacer. Due to the thus increased dimensional stability of the spacer can thus be removed safely and in the intended or reproducible manner by the vehicle restraint system according to the invention even comparatively high impact energies.
- the mechanical power coupling between the guardrail and posts can be improved if the forming between the first and second holding leg retaining bar is at the level of the plank ridge of the guardrail.
- the retaining web which forms between the first and second retaining limbs, extends continuously along the spacer, a comparatively high mechanical rigidity on the spacer can be made possible with respect to impact-induced deformation forces.
- Simple construction conditions may arise when the mounting hole is keyhole-shaped.
- the spacer according to the invention may be distinguished, in particular, if it is provided in the overlapping joint region of the protective barriers and firmly connected to these protective barriers.
- a post acts on the fasteners of guard rails mechanical stress.
- the joint area of the guard rails and the related fasteners can therefore be protected from overloads, which can lead to a mechanically robust safety barrier and thus stable vehicle restraint system.
- the dimensional stability of the protective plank with respect to impact-induced deformation can be considerably increased by this support.
- this can support the separation function of the spacer from the post and thus relieve the fasteners between the guardrails, which can increase the stability of the vehicle restraint system.
- Fig. 1 shown vehicle restraint system 1 shows several anchored posts 2, 3, where guard rails 4 and / or 5 are attached. Of these posts 2, 3 carries the post 3, the two guard rails 4, 5 and their overlapping joint area 6. About this joint area 6, the guard rails 4, 5 are held together to form a guard rail 7 and guardrail band. According to Fig. 3 the wave-shaped plank profiles of the guard rails 4, 5 can be seen closer. However, any other profile shape, for example profile A (Armco), profile B (Bethlehem) or the like, is conceivable.
- the plank profile of the guard rails 4, 5 is formed from a central plank web 8 and to this plank web 8 each above and below subsequent plank legs 9, 10.
- spacer 11 Constructive simplicity on the spacer 11 together with facilitated installation and maintenance options arise by the spacer is designed as a two-legged bracket 111.
- a spacer 11 can be made of a metal sheet in a Abkantbiege Kunststoff what this creates significant cost advantages.
- the first retaining leg 12 of the spacer 11 is fixedly connected above the plank web 8 to the post 3, the second retaining leg 13 below the plank web 8 with the protective barrier 4, so taking into account the high rigidity of the angular spacer 11 with a secure release of the fixed connection 14th between post 3 and crash barriers 4, 5 is expected.
- the two holding legs 12, 13 close at an obtuse angle 16 to each other, which facilitates the introduction of force to release the fixed connection 14.
- the spacer 11 increases in its width 17 from the first holding leg 12 connected to the post 3 to the second holding leg 13.
- the spacer 11 is thus trapezoidal, with its end width 18 corresponds to the first holding leg 12 of the width of the post 3.
- the spacer 11 is thus extremely material-saving and therefore inexpensive to manufacture.
- the second holding leg ends in two flanges 19 and 20.
- the lateral distance is 22 between the flanges 19 and 20 larger than the width of the post 3, so that on the back of the vehicle restraint system 1 from the post 3 unhindered assembly and maintenance activities can be made to the screw 21.
- this constructive measure results in cost advantages in the manufacture of the spacer 11, in that a sheet metal waste is minimized.
- the holding leg 12 fits into the gap between the two flanges 19, 20, which allows a juxtaposed reduction of the spacers 11 in the folding bending step.
- the retaining web 23 of the spacer 11 forming between the first and second retaining limbs 12, 13 corresponds almost to the maximum width of the spacer 11, which leads to a comparatively high mechanical rigidity on the spacer 11.
- retaining web 23 forming between the first and second retaining legs 12, 13 is at the level of the plank web 8 of the protective barrier 4, 5.
- a mounting hole 24 is provided on the first holding leg 12, which is penetrated by the connecting element 15 and the screw.
- This mounting opening 24 widens in sections in its opening cross-section 25, thereby forming this keyhole-shaped. An impact-related displacement of the spacer 11 can thus facilitate the release or unbuttoning of the fixed connection 14 and thus also ensure.
- the mechanical connection in the joint area 6 is formed reinforced by the screw 21 of the spacer 11 and by further screw 26 (or in general fasteners).
- a connecting plate 27 is provided for two screw 26 on the plank leg 10 in order to strengthen this mechanical connection.
- This connecting plate 27 is in all screw 26, as shown in the Fig. 3 can be recognized. For the sake of clarity, this was in the FIGS. 1 and 2 not shown.
- the protective barrier 7 can thus safely remove a high load and increase the stability of the vehicle restraint system 1 significantly.

Description
- Fig. 1
- eine teilweise aufgerissene Frontansicht auf ein Fahrzeugrückhaltesystem,
- Fig. 2
- eine vergrößerte Teilansicht der
Fig. 1 und - Fig. 3
- eine abgerissene Schnittansicht nach III-III der
Fig. 1 .
Fig. 3 erkannt werden kann.
