Da eine gewisse Pendelbewegung der Gondel, bzw. Sessel immer gegeben ist und auch entsprechend zugelassen werden muss, muss sichergestellt sein, dass innerhalb dieses Bereiches der zulässigen Pendelung der Tragarm nicht an der Seilfangschale anschlägt. Entsprechend sind vorschriftsgemässe Konstruktionen auch so ausgelegt, dass eine Auspendelung von 0.35 rad aus der Normallage in Richtung zu den Tragseilrollen zulässig ist.
