Claims (10)
- Schutzelement (1, 1'), das sich in Form eines Profils darstellt, das eine Innenseite aufweist, die ausgeformt ist, um auf zumindest zwei aneinander liegenden Seiten von Elementen angelegt zu werden, die in einem Abstand zueinander zu halten sind, und die bei deren Lagerung, Handhabung und Transport gegen Stöße zu schützen sind, wobei das besagte Profil aus einem synthetischen Werkstoff gefertigt ist, der die Stöße absorbiert, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das besagte Profil ausgeformt ist, um auf seiner Außenseite zumindest eine Protuberanz (5) aufzuweisen, die aus der besagten Außenseite hervorstehend angeordnet ist, die dazu bestimmt ist, sowohl einen Abstandhalter zu bilden, mit dem die benachbarten Glaselemente in einem Abstand zueinander gehalten werden können, und einen ergänzenden Dämpfungskeil, anhand dessen sie bei ihrer Lagerung, Handhabung und ihrem Transport gegen Stöße geschützt werden können.
- Schutzelement nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die besagte Protuberanz (5) aus einem einzigen Teil mit dem besagten Profil aus demselben synthetischen elastischen stoßabsorbierenden Werkstoff, wie einem Polyethylen-Schaum, gefertigt ist.
- Schutzelement (1, 1') nach einem der Ansprüche 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich das Schutzelement (1, 1') in Form eines Hauptprofils (A) darstellt, das einen Querschnitt in Form eines U aufweist, wobei zumindest der eine der beiden Schenkel (2) des U an seiner Außenseite zumindest eine Protuberanz (5) aufweist, die aus der Außenfläche des besagten Schenkels (2) hervorsteht.
- Schutzelement (1, 1') nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Innenfläche des U einen Sitz (4) bildet, in den die Kante eines zu schützenden Elements, wie eines Glaselements, eingesetzt werden kann, wobei der Abstand zwischen den Schenkeln (2) des U geringere Abmessungen aufweist, als die Dicke eines Glaselements und als jene des Bodens (4a) dieses Aufnahmesitzes (4), sodass der Einsatz des zu schützenden Elements durch das Forcieren des Abstands der Schenkel (2) des U erfolgt, wodurch das Schutzelement (1,1') an der Kante des zu schützenden Elements in der Art einer elastischen Klemme angebracht und gehalten werden kann.
- Schutzelement (1, 1') nach einem der Ansprüche 3 und 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Protuberanz (5) ununterbrochen auf der gesamten Länge des Profils (1, 1') angeordnet ist.
- Schutzelement (1, 1') nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich die besagte Protuberanz (5) in Form einer Wand (5a) mit Abmessungen darstellt, die jenen des Schenkels (2) des U entsprechen, und die sich parallel dazu erstreckt, und die dort durch einen verjüngten Abschnitt (5b) angebunden ist, wobei die besagte Protuberanz (5) somit mit dem besagten Schenkel (2) des U einen sekundär genannten Profilquerschnitt (B) in etwa in Form eines X aufweist.
- Schutzelement (1, 1') nach einem der Ansprüche 3 und 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Protuberanz (5) in unterbrochener Form auf der gesamten Länge des Profils (1, 1') angeordnet ist.
- Schutzelement (1, 1') nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zumindest eine Außenseite des Schutzelements (1) eine Vielzahl von Buckeln umfasst, die hervorstehend entlang des besagten Profils angeordnet sind.
- Schutzelement (1, 1') nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich das Schutzelement in Form eines Hauptprofils darstellt, das einen Querschnitt in Form eines U aufweist, wobei jeder Schenkel (2) des U an seiner Außenfläche zumindest eine Protuberanz aus der Außenfläche des besagten Schenkels (2) hervorstehend aufweist.
- Schutzelement (1') nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Schutzelement (1') Ausschnitte (7) umfasst, die entlang einer Achse y senkrecht zur Hauptlängsachse x des Profils angeordnet sind, welches das Schutzelement (1') bildet, wobei diese Ausschnitte (7) in schräger Form angeordnet sind, sodass sie ein V bilden.
