Definitions
- the invention relates to a sealing corner according to the features of the preamble of claim 1.
- a self-adhesive tape for caulking that can be folded on itself is known.
- a sealing corner of the type mentioned, but no fleece or knitted fabric is provided, is, for example, from the DE 295 21 668 U1 known.
- a sealing corner is then usually combined in terms of longitudinal and narrow edges of a bathtub or other sanitary object with a sealing tape in the required length.
- a sealing corner which may consist of polyurethane, aluminum or steel.
- the heel portion is also formed in the corner center parallel to the wall portion.
- a corresponding revelation content is also from the CH 704155 B1 known.
- the invention is concerned with the task of providing a sealing corner, which is particularly favorable for sealing a trough shape with respect to an ascending wall.
- the permanently visible action of the material can initially facilitate bending, which is optionally provided in the installed state (the given installation state can also make flat alignment irrespective of the presence of visible material, ie without the use of the bend).
- the remaining visible material action can also be given in a pre-embossed curvature, which in any case in this area does not mean that the rubber and / or plastic film lies flat, optionally combined with one or more nonwoven layers, but in the given case, resting on a level surface , A lifting of the film, optionally with the one or both sides also provided nonwoven layer, a total of the ground means.
- the mentioned material action can only mean that there is a cross-sectional reduction, which does not result in direct contact with a flat surface of the prepared sealing corner in the area of the material action, but otherwise leaves a continuous planar formation of the material, which in the installed state, if necessary, only at the Sealing corner is formed, and is not preformed in terms of a support on a flat surface in the sense of a total lifting curvature.
- the formed, integrally formed with the wall portion shoulder portion further integrally into one, preferably also angled to the heel portion extending and moreover preferred with respect to the shoulder portion extending in the opposite direction to the wall portion extending connecting portion whose inwardly facing connecting surface is provided with an adhesive strip.
- the invention operates with a preformed edge in the film part, which is formed on the basis of the rubber and / or plastic film, optionally with one or more nonwoven layers on the outside, which may otherwise be present substantially flat.
- the film part ultimately forms in the installed state in an integral, material-uniform manner, the sealing corner.
- the user is thus given the transition from the wall section into the heel section by means of a pre-embossed or pre-formed crease line or, more generally, by using a permanently visible material action.
- the connecting portion may be present in the form of a bend or as a whole.
- Such a sealing corner can still be sent and stored in a flat superimposition even when training preformed edges.
- the advantage of installation is given.
- the molded-in, integrally formed with the wall portion paragraph section continues integrally merges into a likewise angled to the heel portion extending and with respect to the heel portion in opposite directions to the wall portion extending connecting portion.
- an inwardly facing connecting surface of the connecting portion as in the first described article, be provided with an adhesive strip, such as a butyl strip.
- the molded-edge shaping can, for example, by deep drawing, optionally also at elevated temperature, so thermally assisted deep drawing be given. It may also be a thermoforming as such, in which, for example, the total of heated to a deformation temperature sealing corner, or heated in the local area to a deformation temperature sealing corner, bent over an edge and / or pulled.
- the abovementioned permanently visible material action can also be carried out in such a way that it essentially only has an effect in a then preferably unilateral nonwoven layer which is then preferably provided.
- the fleece can be melted together as it were to a reduced level or compressed, optionally also pressed into the rubber and / or plastic film, be given.
- a certain effect on the underlying rubber and / or plastic film is certainly possible.
- this action on the nonwoven layer can be provided on both sides opposite each other. This results in one or both sides of a line of weakness, which can be installed on the surface with material present during installation with a low aussentbaren thereby kink.
- the sealing corner Due to the indentation of the described design, preferably also with regard to the connecting portion, results in a predetermined design, which favors a correct application installation of the sealing corner.
- the connecting portion and the heel portion in both embodiments integrally one piece, the same material, even in a corner center, into each other. Due to the indentation of the design or the edge formation, which does not affect the integral overall design of the sealing corner, there is no danger of a production-caused about leaks.
- the arrangement of an adhesive strip, such as butyl strip, on the inwardly facing connecting surface of the connecting portion can be this low in the installed state with a vertical edge portion of a trough shape, such as at a bead, connect.
- the aligned in the installed state on a horizontal paragraph section is formed in the area of the center of the corner with greater extent to the interior of the corner as in more distant from the center of the corner areas. He can thus spans the resulting Freiraumzwickel between the tub corner and the corner center of the rising wall so low.
- a sealing tape which is suitable due to its flexibility for connection to a molded-in inner corner portion of the sealing corner.
- a tub for example in the form of a bathtub or floor-level shower tray, or any other shape of tub, are conveniently sealed.
- the vote of the sealing tape on the sealing corner with molded inside corner section can ensure that on the entire sealed circumference, especially where an upstanding wall connects, a secure seal can be achieved.
- the indentation need not be provided on the sealing strip. It is preferably a planar sealing band in the initial state, but due to the specified flexibility, it adheres to the connection region the sealing corner can be applied cheaply to the molded-off paragraph section and can also be correspondingly tightly connected by an adhesive.
- paragraph section formed with respect to a corner center two preferably perpendicular to each other extending corner legs of different width.
- a corner leg may be formed, which does not pass into a wall section. To seal this around a corner that merges into an ascending wall on one side, but on the other side into an adjacent flat floor surface, for example.
- the sanitary fixture can also be an acrylic or steel tub, be it a bathtub or a floor-level shower tray.
- a conventional shower tray which is formed in a known form with a raised edge opposite the adjacent floor.
- the sealing corner is composed of a multilayer material. It is preferably a 3-layer composite. In this case, it is further preferred that an inner plastic layer and two nonwoven layers applied on both sides are provided.
- the plastic layer may consist of a thermoplastic elastomer. It can also be an NBR material.
- a nonwoven layer it may be, for example, a nonwoven based on a spunbonded fabric or a nonwoven fabric. In particular, it can be to act a water jet fleece. It may also be spun fibers consolidated with a binder. The fibers or the base material of the fleece are preferably made of polypropylene. However, it may also be, for example, polyamide or polyester.
- Such a nonwoven layer can in particular also be equipped to block water.
- a wax-based, for example, based finish or other hydrophobing agent may be incorporated into the nonwoven layer.
- the sealing strip also in the mentioned 3-layer composite, is preferably formed with a small cross-sectional thickness.
- the total thickness may be 2.5 mm or less, for example 1 mm to 2 mm, but also 0.1 mm to 1 mm, preferably about 0.5 mm to 0.9 mm.
- a cross-sectional length of the connecting portion is greater than a cross-sectional length of the shoulder portion.
- a cross-sectional length of the wall section is greater than a cross-sectional length of the connecting section.
- the total width of the sealing corner can be, for example, 5 cm to 15 cm, preferably about 12 cm.
- the connecting portion may have a dimension of 1 cm to 3 cm with respect to the said width
- the wall portion may have a dimension of 7 cm to 12 cm.
- the heel portion can have an extension in the direction of the center of the corner, again in the installed state, of a few millimeters, for example 2 mm to 8 mm, but also up to the centimeter range, for example 1 cm or 2 cm.
- the heel portion is formed in particular in the corner center. It can also, based on a length of the sealing corner, in the installed state so in the horizontal direction, be provided expiring, d. H. be provided in a then common plane of wall portion and connecting portion temporarily.
- the sealing corner may preferably be formed as a deep-drawn part.
- this surface piece can be placed in a corresponding thermoforming mold and embossed by stretching and / or temperature influence the corner shape described.
- the adhesive strip for example the butyl strip, is preferably also continuous in the center of the corner.
- the adhesive strip provides primarily the well-adhering connection between the connecting portion and the tub shape.
- a tiling, yet another Verfugung with jointing compound for example in the form of a Silikonverfugung made.
- sealing strip may be the same materials with respect to the material of the sealing strip, which are also specified in terms of the sealing corner. So the mentioned fleece formations or training of the plastic layer or combinations thereof.
- the ranges and / or ranges of values or multiple ranges given above also include all intermediate values, in particular in one-tenth of the dimension, if appropriate also dimensionless, for example one step is one-tenth of a length, referred to one centimeter, ie one millimeter, where further an area (for a length) which is given, for example, 3 cm to 5 cm, too is disclosed with respect to 3.1 cm to 5 cm, 3 cm to 4.9 cm, 3, 1 cm to 4.9 cm, etc., on the one hand to delimit the said area boundaries from below and / or above, alternatively or additionally but also to Disclosure of one or more singular values from the given area.
- edge formations With regard to the permanently visible effects of material, for example the edge formations, it can also be provided that two or more intersecting material influences are formed. This has the advantage that a transition given by the action of material between a shoulder section and a wall section can optionally be used. This right / left arrangements can be formed with the same sealing corner. In particular, in the case that with respect to a corner region, a subsequent rising wall is given and is given with respect to another corner region a level adjoining floor.
- an edge formation it is also preferred for it to be continuous between two opposing peripheral edges of the shower enclosure. So it opens without interruption in each case in an edge of the sealing corner.
- a sealing corner 1 first embodiment which can serve to seal a sanitary fixture such as a tub, in particular a bathtub, to a surrounding wall, in particular an ascending wall.
- the sealing corner 1 consists, in particular in FIG. 2 illustrates, from at least one, in the embodiment, two nonwoven layers 2, 3 and on a nonwoven layer 2, 3 applied plastic layer 4.
- the plastic layer 4 is a middle layer in the embodiment. At the same time, it connects the two nonwoven layers 2 and 3, each forming an outer surface.
- the sealing corner 1 is flexible overall, it can be folded on each other for example for packaging purposes.
- the sealing corner 1 further has a corner center 5, in which the immediate transition from a first longitudinal leg 6 is given to a second longitudinal leg 7, on.
- the corner center 5 is preferably preformed like a kink. It is a permanently visible material action in the sense of a pre-marked curvature. However, this crease-like preforming preferably does not penetrate the heel section 10, which will be explained below. In this case, the preforming is preferably interrupted.
- FIG. 3 Relative to a cross-sectional representation, as they are in particular FIG. 3 can be seen, the sealing corner on a wall portion 8 and a connecting portion 9.
- the wall portion 8 and the connecting portion 9 extend in the installed state and in the in FIG. 1 illustrated usual handling form rectified or approximately vertical. Between them extends as a transition said paragraph section 10, which is approximately horizontal with respect to the handling or installation.
- the connecting portion 9 is further corner inside provided with an adhesive strip 11, which is formed in the embodiment and preferably as Butylstsammlung.
- a cross-sectional length L 1 of the connecting portion is greater than a cross-sectional length L 2 of the heel section.
- the length L 1 corresponds to one or more times the length L 2 . For example, two to ten times.
- a cross-sectional length L 3 of the wall portion is greater than the cross-sectional length L 1 of the connecting portion.
- the length L 3 can be 1.2 to five times the length L 1 .
- the heel portion 10 is formed enlarged in the region of the corner center, so that the corner center 5 is less curved in the region of the connecting portion 9 than in the region of the wall portion 8.
- the adhesive strip 11, in particular the addressed butyl strip, is preferably also continuous in the area of the corner center 5, as in FIG FIG. 1 indicated, trained. Preferably, it extends uninterruptedly over the entire length (when projecting into a plane of the sealing corner 1) of the sealing corner 1.
- the adhesive strip 11 is more preferably covered with a cover strip 12, which is removed prior to installation.
- This cover strip 12 may, as also shown in Figure 1, continuous, in particular in the center of the corner 5 continuously provided. He can thus be deducted in one piece.

- the sealing compound is first applied to the wall and the sealing corner, especially here the wall section 8, is inserted or incorporated.
- the sealant then also continue to extend below the sealing corner wall side.
- the incorporation can also lead to the sealing corner, here the wall section 8, also front side coated with sealing compound.
- a tile adhesive 15 is applied, with the help of which then tiles 16 can be further attached to the front.
- the connecting portion 9 extends between the connecting portion 9 and the wall 14 is formed by the paragraph portion 10 a certain pocket, in which preferred and arranged in the embodiment, a Dämmmband 18 in the installed state.
- the sound damping strip 18 is also used in particular for sound decoupling, with respect to twill sound transmission.
- the sound barrier strip 18 may be connected directly to the manufacturing site with the sealing corner 1. But it can also, and this is preferred, be provided as a separate part, which is attached separately. It is preferred here first attached to the corresponding section of the sealing corner and the sealing corner then as a whole connected in the manner described with the wall.
- the attachment to the sealing corner may mean a bonding of the sound damping band 18 with the sealing corner.
- this is a downwardly facing leg of the rim of the tub shape, which forms an approximately vertical surface, which can be used for connection by means of the adhesive strip 11 with the sealing corner 1 meaningful and is usually used in this way.
- a lowermost tile 16 is preferably arranged with a certain vertical distance v to the edge upper side 17 of the trough shape. This makes it possible to subsequently introduce a silicone bead 19 in the remaining gusset.
- the vertical distance v can, what is not shown in detail here, installation by means of a spacer, such as a foam part, be given, which is placed on the edge top 17 and thus inevitably the distance of the lower end face of the tile 16 to the edge top 17 of the tub shape 16 pretends. After such installation and tiling then the Schalldämmband can be removed again and the said silicone gasket 19 are introduced.
- a spacer such as a foam part
- the processing of a sealing corner as described here and also of a sealing tape is preferably carried out in such a way that first the sealing corner 1 is attached to the trough mold 16, as in FIG FIG. 4 shown.
- the so-equipped pan mold 16 is placed in place in the wall corner, if necessary also in a there already existing tub support, which may be formed as a foam tub support, for example, introduced.
- the tub shape can also be mounted in a known form on tub feet.
- the wall can be previously or after the trough shape has taken said position, provided with the sealing compound 13, which is then applied to the upper side of the sealing corner or the sealing tape.
- FIG. 4 and especially FIG. 5 it can be seen that the heel portion 10 in the region of the center of the corner in plan view extends in a circular arc.
- the desired tight connection to the associated also circular arc or curved outer corner of the tub shape 16 is reached.
- FIGS. 6 to 9 are sealing corners 1 second embodiment shown.
- sealing corners can be constructed in terms of material in the same way as the above-described sealing corners.
- the sealing corners 1 second embodiment initially have different width paragraph sections 10, 10 '.
- the heel portion 10 ' does not transition into a wall portion 8 even in an extension direction of the heel portions 10. However, it is unilaterally, in extension of an edge formation 21 between the wall portion 8 and the shoulder portion 10 via this edge formation 21 in the wall portion 8 via.
- a width b of the shoulder portion 10 ' is chosen so large that it corresponds to a quarter or more of the cross-sectional length L 3 of the wall portion.
- the width b can also exceed the dimension L 3 .
- the width b may in particular be equal to or greater than the sum of the cross-sectional lengths L 3 and L 2 .
- a sealing corner second embodiment according to the FIGS. 6 to 9 serves to seal in particular a trough-shaped corner, which adjoins a straight running upstanding wall, but on the one side, on which the shoulder portion 10 'is formed, merges into a planar bottom region.
- the sealing corner according to FIG. 9 serves to seal an opposite corner with the same configuration in terms of rising wall and flat bottom surface.
- a further sealing corner 1 is shown, in plan view, in which there are intersecting permanent visible material influences 21, 21 ', 21 ", 22.
- Reference numeral 22 indicates that even further permanently visible material influences, possibly also as pre-embossed edge formations, not like the permanently visible material effects 21 perpendicular to each other, may be formed.
- the multiple, preferably mutually parallel, permanently visible material influences 21, 21 ', 21 allow the processor to vary the actual width of a heel section which may be formed in the installed state, optionally by using one of the material influences to form an actual bend in the installed state ,
- a sealing corner according to FIG. 10 is associated with the advantage that they both for training in the installed state of a sealing corner according to FIG. 6 as well as a sealing corner according to FIG. 9 can be used.
- the Eck term in the wall portion can then be either by folding, which may be provided about the other permanently visible material effects 22, or by cutting the permanently visible material action 21, suitably up to about the intersection of the permanently visible material effects 21st
- the sealing corner according to FIG. 10 is also associated with the advantage that it can be laid flat without the possibility of corner training.
- FIG. 11 is an edge formation, as preferred in any case in the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 5 present, shown in more detail.
- the Kantenausformung is in the film from which the sealing corner is formed, pre-stamped.
- the cross-sectional representation can be seen that a significant bulge of the present material as a whole, so the rubber and / or plastic film, preferred and provided in the embodiment on both sides with a nonwoven layer (see in more detail approximately cross-sectional view of FIG. 2 ).
- This edge shaping of the FIG. 11 is shown singular, you can see here one of the two edge formations, which can be seen then are provided in opposite directions, corresponding to the formation of the heel section 10 according to FIG.
- the edge shaping as in FIG. 11 is shown, as stated earlier, for example, be made by hot stamping or deep drawing.
- FIG. 12 is a permanently visible material action shown, which leaves a surface extension of the film or the rubber and / or the plastic film with double-sided nonwoven layer, substantially unaffected.
- the nonwoven layers 2, 3 are significantly influenced, namely significantly reduced in thickness, while the rubber and / or plastic film 4 is unaffected or at least passed through substantially unaffected.
- the material action according to FIG. 12 can be made by force and / or heat, for example with a rolling wheel or a blade-like part (without cutting through).
- the edge shaping according to FIG. 11 is permanently formed in the material, so that although the sealing corner in the storage condition, such as FIG. 10 corresponds, can be laid essentially flat, but the installation state is then immediately given by the Kantenausformmaschine.
- a permanently visible material action for example, as a pre-embossed edge formation 21, 21 ', 22, is provided continuously from a first peripheral edge 23 to a second, opposite peripheral edge 24 of the sealing corner.
- a free space F remained between the silicone bead 19, the adhesive strip 11, the sealing corner 1 and the sealing compound 13 and a portion of the tub 16. It may be limited in practice, if necessary, otherwise. Such a free space F can also continue, although possibly in a reduced cross-sectional extent, in the region of a subsequent sealing strip 20. In the case of a free-standing bath rim, this can sometimes result in an opening on the front side. It is preferable to fill a resulting opening thus the free space F, starting from the free edge of the tub, if necessary, with another filler.
- the filler may be a cord, for example a butyl round cord. This can be plugged over a certain length, for example, in the free space F.
