Definitions

  • the invention relates to a shower floor element according to the features of the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a shower tray element corresponds to the internal state of the art of the applicant.
  • the DE 202005018684 U1 and the DE 202005013327 U1 to refer to the more general state of the art.
  • the invention is therefore concerned with the task of designing said shower floor element and further, that an advantageous installation option is given.
  • the drainage channel consists of a trough lower part, which forms a peripheral edge of a slot opening of the drainage channel, and with a relative to the trough lower part mountable gutter upper part, the one forms further edge of the slot opening, wherein the gutter upper part for setting a desired slot width in the transverse direction relative to the trough lower part is different mountable.
  • Such a shower floor element can also be easily attached to the required size by cutting on site.
  • the sealing arrangement in critical area of the drain and the drainage channel is nonetheless predetermined. In the other edge areas, the sealing can then be made on site by appropriate sealing strips in addition.
  • the arrangement of the drain can also be provided outside a corner region, in particular also in the center of an edge of the shower floor element. This design is particularly useful if the drainage channel is provided only on one edge side.
  • the process can then be supplied by two opposite sides, but in principle only from one side.
  • the drain can be arranged on a lower plate part or a step surface which is lowered relative to the surface of the shower tray element. It can be provided connected thereto, provided in the drainage, elongated drainage channel. The drainage channel can also sit on the lowered step surface, possibly on an upper plate part, and the sealing element is arranged in any case associated with the drainage channel.
  • connection between the drain and the lower plate part or a step surface can already be established at the factory. This is also preferably provided.
  • the upper plate part can then be placed on site. It is as it were only plug or insert assembly required, usually also a bonding between the plate parts takes place.
  • the sealing element is advanced, preferably between the lower and the upper plate part, the drainage channel sitting on the upper plate part can be installed without the need for a seal in this area or for this on the construction site Measures would be taken.
  • the seal is possibly provided as it were level in depth.
  • the shower tray element can be made in a uniform size, but adapted by cutting on site to the required length / width ratio or the required overall size. And this without significantly impairing the production already provided sealing measures are affected.
  • the marginal edges of the slot openings are assigned to separate parts, a favorable solution with regard to the possible cutting of the shower floor element is also given. It only takes one of the parts, usually the gutter base, already factory-mounted. This can then be cut together with the foam part. The gutter top can be cut separately. In addition, both parts can be produced cheaply. For example, as plastic parts. In particular, for the gutter base offers a production in the deep drawing process. In addition, however, a production in the extrusion process or in the plastic injection molding process is possible.
  • the slot width of the drainage channel can be adjusted by a suitable installation of the gutter upper part.
  • the surface of the wall that is, for example, a tile surface, then forms the counter-edge in the installed state.
  • the drain may include a drain cover and drain drain. These are also preferably plastic parts.
  • the drain cover forms peripheral edge portions of a corner slit opening and that the drain cover is slidable relative to the drain lower portion having corresponding peripheral edge portions to change a width of the slit opening.
  • the desired slot width can be adjusted in alignment with the slot opening of the drainage channel.
  • the drainage parts can be made by deep-drawing, but also as plastic injection molded parts.
  • the marginal edges of the slot opening have a different height level, namely the outer peripheral edge, which is thus assigned in particular the trough lower part or the drain lower part, a lower height level than the other peripheral edge.
  • this has a drain opening and is provided in the direction of displacement, provided in the drain opening channel molding.
  • the channel molding is preferably provided in addition to one or two terminal channel sections for connection to a drainage channel.
  • the drain opening is arranged on the corner side and the gutter molding preferably directed away from the drain opening into the interior of the shower floor element. Further preferably, along a diagonal, wherein the diagonal also preferably forms the center line of the trough molding.
  • the drain is designed as a drain-collecting housing. It is a substantially, optionally up to rust or slot-like inlet openings, closed housing, in which one or more drainage channels over (each) a side opening, said connection gutter sections, deliver. It is also preferred that this drainage collection housing, at least in relation to the initially treated claim, is assigned to a corner region of the shower floor element.
  • a drainage channel is preferably narrower than the collection housing.
  • the upper plate part or the plate part or the step surface, on which one or more of the drainage channels sit has a slope towards the drainage channel. It is also advantageous that at least two, possibly perpendicular to each other arranged drainage channels, the upper plate portion and the top of the shower tray element has two areas of different slope.
  • the upper plate part It is particularly advantageous to form the upper plate part with a peripheral step formation for receiving a drainage channel.
  • the drainage channel can basically be formed as a metal part, for example as a sheet metal bent part, but also as already mentioned as a plastic part. If you can also shorten the length of a metal gutter, this is possibly even more advantageous for a plastic part.
  • a sealing element is first preferred that this is arranged between an upper and lower plate member. This usually leads to an approximately horizontal arrangement, wherein a part of the sealing element, which is usually provided as a sealing strip, approximately corresponding to one third or half of the width of the sealing strip, projects outwardly. But it can also be provided that a sealing element, in particular the factory pre-assembled sealing elements, on one edge side or on two intersecting edge sides of a plate member, preferably just the lower plate member, are arranged vertically, for example, glued from the outside, then up to a free stand given by bending over can be used to insert the sealing element in the surrounding soil.
  • one of the plate members is composed of two or more individual plate members. This is particularly favorable in the case that different densities of these individual plate parts are selected.
  • the upper single plate member associated with the upper plate member is selected to have a higher density. Because a higher-density foam, in particular particle foam, as described, already has on its own from a high waterproofness.
  • an integral shower tray member may be formed with different densities or with a density (total) in the wall width described below.
  • a low density is given, for example, in the range of 20-40 kg / m 3 and a higher density in the range of 40-100, up to 110 kg / m 3 .
  • the values not given by way of example are also included, namely all intermediate values, in particular in 1 kg / m 3 steps.
  • the said individual plate parts, in particular as far as the lower plate part is composed thereof, are preferably preassembled at the factory.
  • a sealing element can also preferably be arranged between two individual plate parts, in this case again preferably in the horizontal extent, as explained.
  • a sealing element is also provided offset from the sealing plane or setting plane of the process on the lower plate part - down.
  • a support part assigned to the inlet slot is provided. This is particularly preferred if, as is preferred, the drainage channel has a transversely rectangular, partially closed profile, with a greater width than height. At least one side is then provided a relatively farhragender upper leg, which can be supported low. In particular, in embodiments of the drainage channel as a plastic part, this proves to be advantageous.
  • a drainage channel preferably has assigned to the inlet slot a preferably molded, in the delivery state upwardly free-standing inlet edge. More preferably, in a drainage channel with partially closed profile two inlet edges, opposite, provided, between which then enters the water in the drainage channel. These inlet edges serve, for example, to form a stop for the sanitary surface to be applied, for example a tiling, or as a jointing aid.
  • one or both inlet edges can be covered by an edge shoe.
  • a desired material or a desired appearance of the inlet slot can be made low.
  • a shower floor space may also be composed of a plurality of shower floor elements arranged next to one another, the shower floor area having two or more drains and three or more areas having different gradients.
  • a shower floor element with a drain and a gutter which these elements are preferably arranged corner or edge side, can in a simple manner with another same shower floor element be combined.
  • the shower floor channels are associated with only one or two mutually perpendicular and tapered to the same corner edge regions of the shower floor element, can be achieved by the composition of two or more such shower floor elements nevertheless a nearly closed edge-side drain configuration.
  • It can also be an actually closed edge-side drain configuration, be it with or without a continuous gutter inlet opening, be provided when the mutually facing gutter ends with corresponding connecting pieces, which thus form a channel section, transverse to the associated shower floor element edge sides, are connected.
