  • Such a compressor is known in which a plurality of the pressure chamber forming housing parts are screwed together.
  • a screwing of housing parts is a simple and inexpensive way of connecting the pressurized housing parts.
  • known compressors are often designed such that they are subjected during operation or in case of malfunction with high internal pressures, which makes a generous and space-consuming design of the screw to connect the housing parts required to rule out the possibility of unwanted detachment of a housing part.
  • the object of the invention is to provide an improved compressor. This object is achieved by a device according to independent claim 1. Preferred developments of this device are the subject of the dependent claims.
  • the invention according to the independent claim 1 offers the advantage that with a relatively simple safety device, the maximum pressure against which a connecting device must apply a contact force between the housing parts, can be predetermined. This makes it possible to dimension the connecting device smaller than in known compressors under the same conditions of use, whereby cost and space advantages arise.
