Description

The present invention relates to a device according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such floor drains are usually used in floor-level showers, often channel-shaped drain bodies are used. So far, it is necessary to create a floor-level shower, that a shower plate or a shower board is equipped with a multi-sided slope to drain. The same applies to training with graded screed. In a drain in the middle of the shower area, a so-called central drain, four gradient areas are usually formed. In a close-to-the-wall process, either three or four gradient areas are worked out. For three slope areas, the first area is on the opposite side of the wall. The other two areas are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the channel-shaped drain body to the left and right of this. Occasionally, there is a short, fourth gradient between the gutter body and the wall.

It proves to be problematic here that the formation of several sloping areas in the screed or in a shower panel causes a high manual or mechanical effort. In addition, the adaptation of the tile mirror to the different gradient situations is demanding.

From the DE 20 2011 051 047 U1 a device of the type mentioned is known. The device described therein comprises a vertical and a horizontal leg, both in a longitudinal direction, which is parallel to the connecting line of wall and bottom, are more extensive than in the transverse direction or the vertical direction. In the horizontal leg a recess is provided which surrounds a drain opening. The bottom of the recess is inclined in the direction of the vertical leg. On the horizontal leg, in the region surrounding the recess, a tile connection strip can be placed on which tiles can rest, which are applied to the horizontal leg. The recess can be partially covered with a cover.
From the US 2011/0197351 is a shower tray known. This has a square or a rectangular outline. The bottom of the shower tray comprises a drain opening and four segments, each having a slope in the direction of the drain opening.
The problem underlying the present invention is to provide a device of the type mentioned above, which simplifies mounting a floor drain arranged in the vicinity of a wall.
This is achieved by a device of the type mentioned above with the characterizing features of claim 1. The subclaims relate to preferred embodiments of the invention.

The device according to the invention is used in particular between wall tiles applied to the wall and floor tiles arranged with a gradient. The invention offers the craftsman and the shower plate manufacturers the opportunity to use only a one-sided slope. This gradient can be arranged on the side facing away from the wall of the device. As a result, the effort in screed and shower plate production is reduced. In addition, the work for the production of the tile level in the area of the various gradient transitions is eliminated.
It can be provided that the plurality of inclined in the installed state of the device relative to the horizontal surfaces from each other have different inclinations or the device has on its upper side a Mehrfachgefällekontur. The device may have at least sections of a substantially angular cross-section. The device comprises a first, in the installed state substantially vertical leg and a second, in the installed state substantially horizontal leg, wherein the at least one inclined in the use position upper surface is arranged on the second leg. In this way, the tile-side edge of the top of the second leg, the extension of the top of the floor tiles and the surface of the first leg, the extension of the top of the vertical wall tiles form.
It is envisaged that the device is more extended in a first direction than in a second and a third direction, which are perpendicular to the first direction and to each other, wherein the first direction in the installed state of the device is parallel to the line connecting the floor and wall in the region of the drain and the third direction corresponds to the vertical. In this case, the opening for the passage of water into the floor drain extending in the first direction and extending in the first direction is more extensive than in the second direction, and in particular in the third direction. The device can thus be designed as a narrow, narrow, angle-shaped part which can be installed in the connection region between wall and floor of a space between the floor and / or wall covering and the drain. Despite their possibly small dimensions in the transverse direction, the device according to the invention can effectively reduce the labor or manufacturing costs for the screed or a shower tray.

It can be provided that the inclined upper surfaces are formed as free-form surfaces. The several different slopes formed in the screed or in a shower plate or a shower board in the prior art can be formed at least to a large extent on the device according to the invention.

There is the possibility that the inadequate upper surface has a constant height at its outer side or a floor covering facing side in the installed position and in particular is circumferential in a U-shape. This U-shaped circumferential surface can thus represent a connection for circulating around the device arranged floor tiles, wherein due to the constant height working the tile mirror is very simplified to the device.
It is envisaged that the device comprises a cover which partially covers the opening. It can be provided that the Cover with the first leg or in the installed state vertical leg forms a slot-shaped drain opening and / or that the cover has at least one drain opening. Due to the formation of the drainage opening between the first leg and the cover, the drainage opening is reduced to a narrow, hardly visible gap for the viewer, which is located in the connection area between wall and floor.

It can be provided that the device in the third direction has a height between 10 mm and 250 mm, in particular a height between 11 mm and 150 mm, preferably a height between 12 mm and 100 mm, for example a height between 12.5 mm and 50 mm.
There is the possibility that the opening for the passage of water is provided in a bottom drain arranged below the device.

Thus, it comprises a first, in the installed state substantially vertical leg 4 and a second, in the installed state substantially horizontal leg. 5 Fig. 2 shows that rest on the first leg 4 in the installed state from above wall tiles 6 and that on the second leg 5 in the installed state from the right in Fig. 2 Floor tiles 7 abut.

Fig. 2 further shows that the floor tiles 7 in the Y direction or towards the wall have a slope. This slope can continue on the surface of the second leg 5, so that in the wet room accumulating water to a in Fig. 1 indicated slot-shaped opening 21 can flow. In particular, the tile-side edge of the upper side of the second leg 5 forms the extension of the upper side of the floor tiles 7. Accordingly, the surface of the first leg 4 forms the extension of the upper side of the vertical wall tiles 6.

Out Fig. 3 shows an embodiment of a device according to the invention, in which in addition to a first L-shaped part 9, two L-shaped second parts 10, 11 are provided which can extend the first part 9. The connection of the parts 9, 10, 11 to each other by means of connecting pieces 12 which can be inserted into dovetail-shaped receptacles 13 on the underside of the second leg 5 of the parts 9, 10, 11. Fig. 10 and Fig. 12 show that the cross section of a connecting piece 12 corresponds to the cross section of the dovetail-shaped receptacle 13.

The connecting pieces 12 each have on their underside a glued or injected nonwoven. Alternatively, the underside of the connectors 12 could also be provided with a mineral or polymer coating to form a bonding bridge for the tile adhesive.

In a middle region of the upper side of the second, substantially horizontal leg 5 of the first part 9 of the device 1, the opening 8 is arranged. It extends in the installation position substantially in the X direction and through the second leg 5 through down or in the Z direction (please refer Fig. 4 and Fig. 8 ). Through the opening 8 wastewater can get into a built-in below the device 1 drain. The installation side in the upper side of the second, substantially horizontal leg 5 of the first part 9 of the device 1 has various sections or upper surfaces 14, 15, 16, 20. An upper U-shaped circumferential surface 14 extends in the installed position horizontally or is not inclined to the horizontal (see Fig. 4 and Fig. 6 to Fig. 8 ). The upper surface 14 extends along the front edges and along the front edge of the second leg 5 and is formed in particular as about 5 mm wide strip.

Two upper surfaces 15 of the second, substantially horizontal leg 5 of the first part 9 extend as a narrow, for example, 5 mm wide strip adjacent to the vertical leg respectively from the frontal portions of the upper U-shaped circumferential surface 14 to the opening 8 (see Fig. 4 such as Fig. 7 and Fig. 8 ). The two upper surfaces 15 are each inclined in the X-direction to the opening 8, so that the water is conducted on the upper surfaces 15 from the edges of the first part 9 and the device 1 inwardly to the opening 8.

Two upper surfaces 16 of the second, substantially horizontal leg 5 of the first part 9 are arranged as narrow, edge-side lugs in the X direction at the ends of the opening 8 which are anterior to the X direction (see FIG Fig. 3 and Fig. 5 ). The surfaces 16 extend in the region of the opening 8 of the U-shaped circumferential upper surface 14 in the Y direction inward (see Fig. 3 . Fig. 5 and Fig. 8 ).

These surfaces 16 each have a recess 17 into which a web 18 of a cover 19 can engage (see Fig. 8 such as FIGS. 13 to 15 ). By the engagement of the web 18 in the recess 17, a positive positioning of the cover 19 in the first part 9 is achieved. The cover 19 forms with the first leg 4 or in the installed state vertical leg a slot-shaped drain opening 21 (see Fig. 1 and Fig. 4 ), which opens into the opening 8, through which the water to the arranged below the device outlet (not shown) can flow.

The surfaces 16 and the cover 19 are shaped so that the top of the cover 19 is inclined in installation position in the Y direction to the slot-shaped drain opening 21, so that the water through the cover 19 in the slot-shaped drain opening 21 and through this in the Opening 8 can flow (see Fig. 8 ).

Two upper surfaces 20 of the second, substantially horizontal leg 5 of the first part 9 each extend between the upper surfaces 14, 15 to the slot-shaped drain opening 21 and to the cover 19 out (see Fig. 4 and Fig. 7 ). The upper surfaces 20 are formed as free-form surfaces and inclined in both the X direction, as well as in the Y direction to the slot-shaped drain opening 21.
The device 1 or the first part 9 of the device 1 preferably has a length in the X direction of 100 mm to 2500 mm. The device 1 or the first part 9 of the device 1 preferably has a width in the Y direction of 10 mm to 250 mm. The device 1 or the first part 9 of the device 1 preferably has a height in the Z direction of 10 mm to 250 mm.

The device 1 or the first part 9 of the device 1 therefore has a substantially greater extent in its longitudinal direction, which corresponds to the X direction in the figures, than in its transverse direction in the Y direction or in the vertical Z direction.

The L-shaped parts 9, 10, 11 may be made of metal and / or plastic. Also, the connector 12 and / or the cover 19 may be made of metal and / or plastic. In particular, it may be provided to manufacture some or all of the above-mentioned components made of chromed brass in order to achieve a particularly appealing exterior. However, it is also possible to produce some or all of the components mentioned from renewable raw materials.

It is possible that instead of a wall-side drain opening 21 between the cover 19 and the first leg 4 at least one drain opening in the cover 19 is arranged. This at least one drain opening may also be slot-like and extend in the X direction and / or also in the Y direction. For example, this at least one drain opening could be arranged centrally or on the side of the cover adjacent to the floor tiles. Instead of at least one slot-shaped drain opening and one or more differently shaped, for example, circular or rectangular drain openings may be arranged in the cover.
