Die Entwässerungsrinnen können in Bezug auf das Ablaufgehäuse steckmontierbar ausgebildet sein, wobei zur Erreichung der erforderlichen Dichtigkeit in den Steckbereichen mit einem geeigneten Klebstoff gearbeitet werden kann. Es ist möglich, dieses Duschbodenelement räumlich anzupassen, nämlich durch Abtrennen entlang einer Linie, die parallel zu einer der die Entwässerungsrinnen aufweisenden Randkanten verläuft, wobei dann unter Belassung des durch den Ablauf besetzten Eckbereichs auch zumindest eine der Entwässerungsrinnen entsprechend gekürzt wird.
