- Drainage channels for floor-level showers are known. They usually comprise a gutter body made of stainless steel, on which a drain neck is formed or welded and in which a grid is inserted. The water from the shower flows over the floor, which is typically covered with tiles or natural stone slabs, and enters the gutter through the grate. The gutter of the channel body ultimately leads the water to a drain.
- Such gutters are installed in the ground, with the grate up close to about the floor covering the shower.
- the installation of a shower tray or the like is not required, so that the peripheral edge of the shower tray, which often acts disturbing deleted.
- Gullies for floor-level showers have to be adapted in a special way to the special installation site, since the substructure, the floor covering made of tiles or natural stone and the connection to the sewer can vary from case to case and usually only a low overall height is available. Above all, such gutters should ensure a safe drainage of the water, in which the lower floor construction, consisting of screed and possibly thermal insulation, is not soaked. In addition, they should be aesthetically integrated into the ground.
- shower tray bases are available, for example, with a uniform width of about 140 mm in stepped lengths of 750 mm, 800 mm, 900 mm, 1000 mm and 1200 mm. As a result, a large number of different shower channels are produced and kept in stock. The scope of a particular conventional shower channel is usually limited.

Description
The invention relates to a gutter for a floor-level shower according to the preamble of
Drainage channels for floor-level showers are known.
Such gutters are installed in the ground, with the grate up close to about the floor covering the shower. The installation of a shower tray or the like is not required, so that the peripheral edge of the shower tray, which often acts disturbing deleted.
Gullies for floor-level showers have to be adapted in a special way to the special installation site, since the substructure, the floor covering made of tiles or natural stone and the connection to the sewer can vary from case to case and usually only a low overall height is available. Above all, such gutters should ensure a safe drainage of the water, in which the lower floor construction, consisting of screed and possibly thermal insulation, is not soaked. In addition, they should be aesthetically integrated into the ground.
Due to different customer requirements and different space in shower baths different lengths shower channel body are offered. Conventional shower tray bases are available, for example, with a uniform width of about 140 mm in stepped lengths of 750 mm, 800 mm, 900 mm, 1000 mm and 1200 mm. As a result, a large number of different shower channels are produced and kept in stock. The scope of a particular conventional shower channel is usually limited.
In addition, there is sometimes the customer request that the surface of the shower channel visible in the completely installed state, that is to say in particular its grate, is made as small or narrow as possible. The shower channel is then less noticeable or looks more elegant in its aesthetic appearance.

The present invention has for its object to provide a composite gutter for floor-level showers, with which a desired length can be easily achieved while ensuring the tightness of the gutter and has a relatively small visible surface at high drainage capacity in the fully installed state.
This object is achieved by a gutter (shower channel) with the features specified in
The gutter according to the invention comprises at least two gutter bodies, each of which has an inlet opening, and at least one connecting body, via which at least two of the gutter bodies are detachably connected to each other, wherein at least two of the gutter bodies are provided at their ends facing away from the connecting body with at least one recess or holder, wherein the recess or support for supporting one end of a rod-like body which extends in the assembled state along and within the respective inlet opening of the respective gutter body, is provided, wherein the connecting body is provided with at least one of the connected channel bodies associated seal, and wherein at least one of Channel body is provided with a detachable connected thereto gutter tail. The gutter according to the invention is characterized in that, the gutter end piece has a recess receiving an end portion of the gutter body with a seal disposed therein, and that the gutter is variably adjustable in length by the respective gutter body prior to installation of the gutter according to a customer request by means of a saw or other cutting tool shortened and the open end of the matching cut gutter body by means of the associated gutter end piece and the associated seal is liquid-tight shut off.
The recess or holder for mounting one end of the rod-like body is preferably formed or attached to a channel end detachably connected to the gutter body.
The gutter according to the invention (shower channel) is based on the idea of their gutter arbitrarily long, for example in a length in the range of 1200 mm to 2000 mm, so that the or the gutter body before installing the gutter according to the customer request by means of a saw or a other cutting tool can be shortened. The respective gutter body or the gutter can be optimally adapted in this way to a tile or Bodenplattenformat or a joint grid. Also, by appropriate trimming (shortening) of a gutter body of the gutter according to the invention an optimal adaptation to the horizontal extent of serving as a shower screen glass or to the width of a shower room niche possible. It must be produced by the manufacturer so no special lengths more. The open end of the suitably cut gutter body can be sealed liquid-tight by means of an associated gutter end piece and an associated seal.
By limiting the number of different gutter body lengths to one, two, three or at most four specific lengths, lower production costs and lower logistics costs can be achieved by the manufacturer of the shower channels. Likewise, an optimized storage logistics can be achieved in this case with dealers supplied with the shower channels according to the invention.
Furthermore, the gutter according to the invention is based on the idea of preferably providing a single rod-like body or as few, for example two or three, rod-like bodies (grate bars) at the top of the inlet opening of the gutter instead of a typically plate-shaped grate. The grate bar or the grate bars extend in the mounted state along and within the inlet opening of the channel body and can be stored in or on the gutter end piece. This idea takes into account and favors the variable length adaptability of the gutter according to the invention. The respective rod-shaped body (grate bar) is preferably longer than the associated channel body and can also be cut to the required length depending on the desired length of the gutter. In particular, the use of a single rod-like body or, if possible, less rod-like bodies (grate bars) arranged parallel to one another favors a reduction in the surface of the drainage channel visible in the completely installed state. Preferably, only the single or the few rod-like bodies of the gutter (shower channel) are visible in the finished state of the floor-level shower substantially. When using several parallel rod-like bodies (grate bars), the distance between adjacent Grate bars in particular at most 8 mm, preferably at most 6 mm and particularly preferably at most 4 mm. In particular, the solution according to the invention makes possible a very narrow design of a shower channel with nevertheless high drainage capacity in comparison to conventional shower channels having a plate-shaped grate. In addition, the solution according to the invention also enables a saving of material costs in relation to the otherwise conventional plate-shaped stainless steel grid.
Due to the at least one connecting body and the at least two channel body of the gutter according to the invention, it is possible to realize a particularly long gutter. In this case, the at least one connecting body can in particular be designed in such a way that the gutter bodies connected to one another in a detachable manner are arranged in a straight line against one another. Alternatively, however, the at least one connecting body of the drainage channel according to the invention may also be designed in such a way that the channel bodies releasably connected to one another are arranged angularly one behind the other. For example, can be realized with rectangular connecting bodies substantially L-shaped, U-shaped or rectangular gutter body arrangements. If appropriate, the connecting body or at least one of the connecting bodies of the drainage channel according to the invention can also have an angular shape deviating from a rectangular design, for example a 120 ° or 135 ° angular shape.
The inventive concept of connecting or juxtaposing two or more gutter bodies via one or more connecting body allows a very variable design of a gutter (shower channel), which despite a narrow design of the inlet opening still a high drainage capacity can be achieved due to the relatively large length of the inlet opening of the gutter according to the invention.
An advantageous embodiment of the drainage channel according to the invention is characterized in that the connecting body has a channel connecting the channel hydraulically fluid channel. The liquid channel allows overflow of wastewater collected in the gutter from a gutter body into the adjacent gutter body. This ensures a particularly high drainage performance. Furthermore, this embodiment offers the possibility to provide only one of the at least two channel body with a drain neck.
A further preferred embodiment of the drainage channel according to the invention is that the liquid channel has a bottom surface formed with a slope, which drops in the direction of at least one of the two channel body connected to the connecting body. This reduces the drainage drainage drainage time.
Another embodiment of the drainage channel according to the invention is characterized in that the connecting body separates the channel channels of the interconnected channel body, so that a flow of liquid is prevented from the channel channel of a channel body in the channel channel of the connected channel body. This embodiment offers hygienic advantages, since a liquid channel (overflow) between the adjoining gutter bodies, which is quite vulnerable to contamination or deposits, is not present.
In a further embodiment, the connecting body may have at least one upwardly open indentation which widens the gutter channel of the channel body connected to the connecting body horizontally. This embodiment is also advantageous in terms of hygiene, since in turn there is no fluid channel (overflow) between the adjoining channel bodies, which may be susceptible to dirt deposits. In addition, increases the upwardly open indentation of the connecting body at predetermined dimensions of the gutter with respect to the aforementioned variant, in which the adjoined gutter bodies are hydraulich separated and the connecting body has no such indentation, the water absorption capacity and extent the drainage performance of the gutter.
Furthermore, in this embodiment, the recess may have a gradient formed with a bottom surface, which drops in the direction of the channel channel of the channel body. This in turn can shorten the time for drainage drainage.
A reliable mechanical connection of connecting body and gutter bodies and a reliable seal on the relevant connecting surfaces can be achieved if according to a further preferred embodiment of the gutter according to the invention, the connecting body is releasably connected by means of screw with its associated gutter bodies.
The gutter body of the gutter according to the invention can cost as plastic injection molded parts or extrusions getting produced. The respective channel body is designed, in particular as an injection molded part, preferably in such a way that its channel bottom is formed towards the outlet opening with a slope. It can be dispensed with the gutter body but also on a slope.
Particularly preferably, the gutter body of the gutter according to the invention are each formed from a gutter profile, wherein at the end facing away from the connecting body of the respective gutter profile, a gutter end piece is arranged according to the groove end piece specified in
A further advantageous embodiment of the drainage channel according to the invention provides that the respective channel body has grooves, bores or channels extending parallel to its longitudinal axis for fastening self-tapping screws. Preferably, these grooves or channels extend over the entire length of the channel body, so that the channel body of the gutter according to the invention can be cut to any desired length as needed and the tapping screws can always be screwed into the grooves or channels of the channel body cutting and thus always a reliable Connection with the connecting body or a gutter tail can be ensured. In this case, the holes or channels for an advantageous development be provided with continuous longitudinal slots of the gutter according to the invention. At these longitudinal slots foot elements for supporting (storage) of the respective channel body can be mounted in a form-fitting manner in a simple and reliable way.
A further advantageous embodiment of the gutter invention provides that the storage of a rod-like body serving, arranged at the ends of the gutter body recesses or holders are each provided with an adjustment for height adjustment of the rod-like body relative to at least one of the gutter body. As a result, the altitude of the rod-like body can be easily adapted to different thickness floor tiles or floor coverings in a simple manner. For this purpose, the adjusting element is preferably insertable into the recess in a form-fitting manner or can be positively connected to the holder.
In particular, it is proposed in this context that the support for supporting one end of the rod-like body is mounted continuously height-adjustable on the gutter end piece.
A further advantageous embodiment of the drainage channel according to the invention further consists in that the gutter end piece has a threaded bore with an adjusting screw for stepless height adjustment of the rod-like body. Accordingly, the connecting body of the drainage channel according to the invention may have at least one threaded bore with an adjusting screw for stepless height adjustment of the rod-like body.
According to a further embodiment of the rod-like body may be provided with at least one engaging on its underside web holder. This embodiment is particularly advantageous in the case of a relatively long channel body and a correspondingly long rod-shaped body in order to support the rod-shaped body and to counteract a deflection of the same.
In this case, the respective web holder may be formed as a height-adjustable web holder, in order to be able to easily make a height adjustment of the rod-shaped body to differently thick floor tiles or natural stone floor panels.
A further preferred embodiment of the gutter according to the invention is characterized in that at least one of the gutter body has a drain hole formed as a slot whose longitudinal axis extends in the longitudinal direction of the gutter body, wherein the drain opening is provided with a discharge nozzle, which is connected to the channel body, a slot-shaped channel cross-section has comprehensive mouthpiece. The gutter body can thereby be made relatively narrow.
Further preferred and advantageous embodiments of the gutter according to the invention are specified in the subclaims.
